I decided to try this place out and picked one of their happy-hour specials. I went on a Wednesday and chose the 90-minute Royal Purity Supreme Facial & Scalp Renewal for $140. The place is located on the second floor of a shopping center. I enjoyed the whole process that was provided, and the quality of service was really good. I always like to do the scalp massage from time to time, and I definitely enjoyed this one. I highly recommend this place. The only reason I gave them a 4-star is that I asked the person who did my service if I could request a proper blowout, and she said yes. So I thought she knew what I wanted, but she didn't. I explained it to her again, and she kept nodding like she understood what I said, but she still didn't. I even offered to pay extra for it, but I just think she couldn't understand me. You complete as assessment form prior, and they start right on time. I loved the feeling of extra warm water on my scalp and all the aromas really heightened the olfactory senses (and experience). My hair has never felt cleaner and softer! I'm extremely satisfied with the service and overall results. I opted for the 75min organic herbals scalp and hair detox, which really focused on resetting a healthy scalp. Upon check in, you fill out a form regarding your preferences for water temperature, massage pressure, etc. You change into a towel wrap, lay into a heated bed, and have a heated eye masked placed over your eyes as spa music is played. My honest critique is that I found it difficult to relax due to the loud clanging noises of the tools hitting or dropping inside of the sink. As hard as I tried to tune it out and focus on winding down and relaxing, I became super sensitive to the noise and all my focus shifted to how loud everything was . Another critique I have is that I felt like the treatment was slightly more painful than I expected. I did mark 'medium' for my pressure preference, but I feel like I should have selected 'light'. I am typically not tender-headed but my scalp highly sensitivite during the massage, and on top of the noise sensitivity I was experiencing. I would like to return, but I will be sure to emphasize that I prefer light pressure. Once we got to the water and shoulder massage, I was finally able to relax and even dozed off for a moment. Afterwards, my hair was blow dryed in their salon area. My hair was so soft and bouncy for days after. read more

I appreciate the thoroughness to ensure my scalp is super clean and healthy. Also, the shoulder/neck massage alone has sold me. I have knots in my shoulders from working on the computer most days and Zoe really put attention to that. Even recommended after care tips. The spa is clean and minimalistic. After visiting here for a year on 5 different occasions, I can't say that I'm a regular but at least I'm committed to this hair spa :) Every time I've come to visit, I always did a couples hair spa - came here before with my cousin and a few girlfriends (always on a 1:1 date to celebrate a special birthday or a "just because we deserve to pamper ourselves" occasion). I can't speak for the individual experiences but I love being able to do a hair spa and relax with a friend in the same room so it's like with good company, but in relaxing silence. They always do a brush through, do a deep massage for the scalp and wash the hair a few times. I don't know what hair tools they're using but they definitely know where the pressure points are for releasing tension. They also do a back and neck massage as well! I usually book the essential hair scalp massage and fair warning: the first time they put the streaming mask over my face (with my eyes closed with the mask), it did feel claustrophobic for a second. Kim, who was massaging my hair at the time, totally noticed that I tensed up and adjusted the steamer so I felt much better. Now after a several times I expect this part and can relax and actually enjoy the steaming part. Overall I would totally recommend this hair spa place.
