I came here recently to meet up with a friend. Clieu Coffee is a cozy, family owned coffee shop. When I came I got to meet the owner's wife and their kids who were stopping by. They have a good selection of drinks and a small selection of pastries. There are plenty of areas to sit, a restroom and merchandise from local businesses for sale. I had their London fog tea with their blueberry muffin. The London fog tea was delicious and the blueberry muffin was flavorful and dense. Our barista shared information about Clieu Coffee as well as mentioned there was pottery from a local artist for sale. I purchased some simple and lovely pieces for my space for a great price. Clieu Coffee has a couple of spots in the front of the shop and more towards the side of the coffeeshop. I look forward to my next visit. read more

After a delicious lunch and a wine tasting on Main Street, I wanted a yummy coffee and dessert, so we walked a few blocks to this quaint little coffee shop. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's pretty cute inside! I ordered the Clieu's Brew and the hubby ordered a cold brew. The coffee was excellent and the gal working there was friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed there were no pastries or desserts in the glass case; maybe they ran out early? Tried this place on a whim while shopping Main Street Grapevine. While the staff was friendly and the ambiance was cute the coffee was a huge let down. The vanilla latte and the brown sugar latte had little to no flavor and the coffee wasn't that great. Oooooh, Brew & Batter. You pulled me in with your gluten free waffle options and kept me because the waffles were SO good. Truly. I came in on a random weekday around 11:30am -- there were only a few other folks in attendance so I didn't have a line to wait in. I ordered a latte with vanilla and caramel, plus the gluten free/vegan seasonal berry waffle. Honestly when I got my waffle it wasn't hot, it was barely warm. No one else was being served food so I found this a little strange, but I decided to try my waffle before asking for it to be reheated. Lucky me, even being lukewarm/cold my waffle was sooooo good. The texture was perfect, so crunchy yet soft and chewy. And the flavor was insanely good! I could have eaten 10 of these cold waffles! Plus, the space itself is super cute and cool and breezy and bright. There's plenty of space for plugging in your laptop and working. You can hang out for awhile or just stop by. Underrated light breakfast, I like how they serve starship bagels here too but with egg!! Even the original starship bagel store doesn't do that which is a shame. Ambiance is great, the baristas are very friendly and have good service. They also sell pretty nice mech here as well as roasted beans. read more

This is a quaint little coffee shop right off Main Street in Grapevine. Prices are reasonable for coffee shop coffee. It's a cute little old house that's been converted into a coffee shop there's a quiet room for working on laptops with free Wi-Fi and a few small tables and a cozy couch They have lots of good options as well as unique waffles made with various toppings today I tried the fig and brie waffle which was delicious the size is not huge but considering today's economy a pretty good value. I actually ordered the peppermint mocha although my coffee was tasty I did not taste any peppermint or mocha? I didn't complain because I still enjoyed the drink but if it were a peppermint mocha they need to add more peppermint and more mocha in the future in my personal coffee opinion read more

Someone converted a house into a breakfast shop. Literally. There was live music from a lovely girl. Random lawn seating over pebble where the lawn use to be. It's almost like someone invited a bunch of random people over to sit in the front yard. Plenty of shade depending on the time of day. They have crafted coffee which was nice. Their charcoal lemonade really hit the spot! The waffles aren't super huge either. Sizing seems to vary on complexity. Came here for a quick bite and some coffee. Got a couple waffles and coffee options. Very cute shop! Love the hip feel and comfort walking in. It's like being at home, a local home. I wanted to try their coffee and it was refreshing to find a place that goes against the "norm" by using oat milk in the drinks. A first and I'll have a second. I do have to say however the waffle was disappointing. Very dense, not what I expected more than anything. I wish mine would have had more Nutella and banana to help moisten the dense bite. My husbands (the churro) was great and a wonderful flavor. I think it's a bit more of an appropriate option for a dense snack. read more

I prefer my waffles with a crisp on the outside, but these are soft, however that said, the egg is perfectly cooked and the flavors are delicious. Oat milk is the default milk (at no charge) which is AWESOME for those of us who are shelling out extra dollars everywhere to protect our pathetic digestive tracts. They also have gluten free waffles - I went for the fresh fruit waffle. The strawberries were tasty but I wished it had the banana that I've seen in other pics. Still a smackin' waffle for being gluten free though!! My oat cappuccino was okay. I wouldn't come here for a stellar espresso but I would come here for a cute brunch date. This place was SO AMAZING! I LIVE for a good breakfast experience! I would rather breakfast than dinner any day of the week! When I saw this place I was PRAYING that is would be amazing, and folks, it did NOT DISAPPOINT. It does not have a million things on the menu. It's simple, subtle, and easy. And every single thing is delicious. This place took basic things, and put them together in a not so basic way to make them taste extraordinary! It would be great for work, studying, or a date. They even had a "quiet" area! Super convenient! We didn't't even get close to it with 2 toddlers in tow. Still nice to know it's there though! Love the idea ... the execution lacked. The coconut honey latte with coconut milk tasted wonderful, albeit, only came at a warm temperature rather than hot temp. I waited about 20 min for the GF waffle with fresh fruit & 10 min for the latte. I was finished with the latte by the time the waffle was ready. Food: GF waffle tasted good, but there were a couple of shockers: 1. The fruit on top was about 5 slices of banana and several pieces of nectarine 2. The maple syrup was pre-poured at as a very slight drizzle. I picked it up to eat. Atmosphere: The fluorescent sticky notes placed ALL OVER the beautiful space look tacky and unkempt. The notes are meant to be "kind", but for a non-religiously affiliated coffee shop to allow decor that looks like a youth group came to proselytize via sticky notes is pretty shocking. I think re-considering this idea might be in order. I did purchase $50 worth of products: GF waffle, latte, refill of drip coffee, and 2 bags of whole bean. read more

I had the Peach Waffle with powered sugar on top and it was the perfect balance of sweet and bread-y. My friend had the Breakfast Waffle, which comes with an egg and a slice of cheese on top, and then is drizzled with a spicy crema. This place used to be amazing. I don't know what has happened recently but it took 10 mins to get my one drink and several others were waiting too. Guys were just chatting and hanging out. They apparently don't have waffles anymore and the service was just okay. $7 for a medium latte and did not really feel like they cared if I was there or not. My favorite was the Breakfast Waffle: a savory concoction of their cornbread based waffle with an egg, cheese, and jalapeño cilantro crema. The rest were their yeasty "liege" waffle base. We also had their birthday funfetti, PB&J, Nutella, and churro waffles. They were all good but much sweeter. The waffle flavors change about once a month. Ordered the vanilla latte and we got two plain waffles and churro waffle to try. The plain waffles were raw and heavy, tasted more like biscuit dough. Honestly, one of the worst waffles I've ever tried. My aunt liked the churro one though and it seemed to have a different consistency. The latte tasted bitter and burnt. After seeing a classmate post about this place on Instagram, my partner and I decided we had to check it out. The inside is quaint and calming, with all of the charm you'd expect from a Grapevine business. The staff guide you through several laminated single sheet menus, take your order, and have you pay and sign without touching a dirty screen. (Awesome!) They sanitize the stylus (styli?? Who cares) between guests to make sure you have a corona-less visit. As a recent keto-convert, it's becoming more and more difficult to find coffee shops to go where I don't have to get plain black coffee. That is not a problem here! They have a delightful sugar-free syrup option that packs all the flavor you'd need without the nasty sugar spikes. I obviously did not try their waffles, but this is the first stop for a cheat meal. My only gripe is that, while they have a sign stating the environmental travesty that is almond milk, they use single use plastics for take away cups. It'd be nice to see the conservationist approach through their to-go offers, but alas shit be expensive. read more

I had been meaning to check out this spot for a while and on Sunday a friend and I went for a run then were looking to refuel with some java afterwards. This popped up on my search and we both agreed on this for both coffee and some eats! Sunday it was fairly empty but filled up quickly with patrons the longer we stayed. It's in a cute historic house with a beautiful outdoor area that has chairs, tables and even room to bring your pup! We ordered the waffle trio to share since my friend's little girl was with us. The trio had both savory and sweet options and then also the plain waffle with maple syrup on the side. The waffles themselves are the Liege kind so they are pretty thick but went really well with the different toppings. My fave was the corncake flour one with eggs and cheese on top. I was actually not expecting it to be so good! I'm very much used to just a sweeter waffle in general. So that was a nice surprise. Their cold brew coffee is made with love and super strong. You can choose from different syrups as well and mix and match what you want. Also all of the lattes are made with oat milk which I can appreciate. Overall this is a great place to bring friends, just kick back and relax outside! I don't think I've ever left a review before but I can't not leave one. This place used to be amazing and so cute. They would have live music on Saturdays/sundays, it was always packed, they had unique specialty drinks come out every month; they had a presence and we loved it. It's been under new management for over a year and wow, what a missed opportunity. You're in the cutest spot in downtown grapevine and could do so much but it's so rundown and there's no sense of pride or excitement for what you're doing. It's also the only coffee shop and so it's needed. Why not make it incredible???? There's no character, no specialty drinks, nothing exciting. An americano (water with two shots of espresso) is $2 more than a doppio (two shots of espresso). So $2 for water? Just get the doppio and get a cup of water for free and add it in Anyways, hope they change everything and this place becomes better orrrrr can someone else own this place and bring life back into it?
