She walked me through the problem, waited on the line while I followed her instructions. Within a couple of minutes the heater started to work perfectly therefore saving me a service call. Michael Calvey thoroughly explained all of the options for our house's specific HVAC needs and was very patient with me as I asked a variety of questions. In fact, he made numerous trips to our house to answer the constant flow of questions my wife and I had. Bottom line, we built a solid working relationship with Michael and this gave us the comfort we needed to move forward with our HVAC investment. Calvey Heating and Air's estimate for a new heat pump and furnace at our house was very competitive. I was amazed at how much the pricing varied from vendor to vendor. Michael and the Calvey team made the entire process seamless from start to finish. Michael recommended an electrician who did a great job with our electric panel upgrade and the permit team did a fantastic job working with the city for all of the required paperwork. When it came time for the installation, the lead installer, Servando, and his team took pride in their work for the two day install. Similar to Michael, they were patient with me and answered all my questions during the install. Following the install, the Home Energy Rating System (HERS) Team promptly arrived and conducted the necessary testing. Lastly, the permit team met with the city building inspector to successfully get the city sign off on all of the work. Throughout the entire process, Calvey Heating and Air did a great job choreographing and managing all aspects of the installation. I was constantly kept informed and Michael and his team visited our house daily during the installation to ensure all was moving forward properly. Lastly, a final walk-through was conducted by Johnny from Calvey ensuring that the install was 100% perfect. Once my wife and I have had time to work with and get familiar with our new system, Michael indicated he will have his team come by our house and balance out our vents if needed and answer any additional questions we may have. Overall, my wife and I cannot be happier with our decision to have Calvey Heating and Air install our new system. Their service was great from start to finish and there were no hiccups. The Consultation Process Justin, their sales representative, was efficient and thorough. He patiently walked me through the entire process and was (more than others) knowledgeable about the SJCE rebate and loan options--even providing valuable information I hadn't found on my own. After the initial visit, the Irbis team was very responsive to my follow-up questions and accommodated my request to switch the quoted Rheem model to a GE Geospring model. I also appreciated that they offer an optional 3-year labor warranty to pair with the equipment warranty, which provided extra peace of mind for a reasonable fee. The Installation The installation day turned out to be quite tricky. It actually took three different tanks to get the job done; the first two arrived with small dents on the body. It was a bit strange, as the packaging seemed intact, suggesting a manufacturing or handling issue. While this delayed the process significantly--stretching the job into the late evening--I was incredibly impressed by how the team handled it. There was absolutely zero hesitation to replace the damaged units, and no one tried to convince me to just accept a dented tank. Despite the long day, the installers remained patient, professional, and pleasant. They did a neat, tidy job and thoroughly walked me through the operation of the new system. The only minor critique I have is that I wish the team had tested the incoming water pressure prior to starting the installation. Final Verdict Overall, I am highly satisfied with the level of service and quality of work from Irbis. They aren't the cheapest option on the block, but they have value added process to handle the permitting and SJCE paperwork completely, making it a hands-free experience for the homeowner. Most importantly, when unexpected issues arose, they responded effectively and with great integrity. I would recommend them for a stress free conversion

I made an appointment for them to fix a dripping faucet, and the technician said I needed a new cartridge, and would order one. Two weeks later, they come back, and they ordered the wrong part. At this point, I told the technician where they could get the part (a local bathroom showroom), but they said it was not available there. The technician removed the cold water handle from my faucet during this visit, and told me it was okay to use the hot water, but when I did, water sprayed out of the faucet handle all over my bathroom. It continued to leak under my sink until I closed the main valve. I'm lucky I noticed this, or my home could have been damaged. I was told they could get the part in a few days, but they later contacted me (with no explanation or apology) saying it would be another two weeks. I explained I never would have started this repair if I had known it would span the thanksgiving holidays. They responded by offering to do a more expensive repair, replacing both faucets in my bathroom. I declined. After two weeks (four weeks total without a sink now) , the technician returned with the wrong cartridge. He said he could not fix my faucet and apologized very briefly. I asked the technician to just restore the sink to the way it had been before (dripping slightly from the faucet into the sink), and he said he had, but faucet handle actually dripped water beneath the sink. I called a different plumber, and they declined to do any work until I obtained the correct cartridge, which I did (from the store the Fuse plumber claimed would not have it), and they fixed my sink. This is what I expected Fuse to do, if they were not confident they could find the part.

    I found Made Simple when my usual HVAC service couldn't respond when I needed HVAC repair on short…read morenoice. Sonny was able to come right away and give me an estimate. He suggested replacing the aged AC and gas furnace with a new heat pump. I decided it made sense under the circumstances and he had the technicians arrive the next day. They were knowledgeable and professional and completed the job neatly and efficiently In a day and a half. When I had trouble programming the smart phone controlled thermostat, they switched it out with a type of thermostat that I was more familiar with and did that right away. Later, Cesar told me about a rebate program that Silicon Valley Power had and walked me through how to fill out the application for a large rebate. The end result was a that I had a new quiet and energy-efficient system for a bargain price. It was a good experience, and I appreciate all their efforts. I hope to be able to use them in the future. I highly recommend Made Simple. .

One thing I will say is that he was very friendly and used shoe booties when he would walk inside my house, which was really a nice touch. He was also very friendly unexplained what he was doing to the units. The only thing I don't like is the fact that he was late. I gave them four stars overall because they at least give you a text to show you where the tech is in route.
