I bought my first motorcycle in 2007: A 2004 Triumph Daytona 600. It should have been the start of something special. Unfortunately, I was young, didn't have the time and/or resources at that moment to research service centers for my bike, so I found the closest possible. I was a poor Specialist in the Army and new to motorcycling. I took her to this shop multiple times, but the last time I took her was the literally the last time. I'd had poor service prior, but I'm a forgiving soul. Anyways, I was riding around the D.C. area. My instrument panel and electronics completely shut-off. I was still good, mechanically, in that she was still running normally, but I couldn't gauge my speed or verify anything via my dash unit. So, I took her in to Clinton Cycles. Upon receipt of my "repaired" baby, I began the ride home. About halfway home, the instrument panel/dash went out again. As I was close to home, I figured it was safer to get home and call the dealership. The individual (male) in the service center answered asked me a few questions, then asked if I'd be able to ride my bike back into the shop for evaluation. As my bike was still mechanically sound, I did just this. Approximately two weeks later, I get a call from Clinton Cycles. They stated that there was an issue with the battery and claimed that I had tampered with the battery cables after returning from the shop. I told them I hadn't even removed my seat after returning, as I had little, if any, knowledge of motorcycle electronics, or motorcycles in general, at that time. My parents were visiting during the time I went back to the shop, and my dad came with me. He's a car savant, although he doesn't know much about motorcycles. As I spoke with the service tech at the service desk, they repeated that the battery cables were damaged, and blamed me for tampering with them. They doubled down when I explained I hadn't even removed the seat after their service. My dad is a firecracker, a Vietnam artillery vet that doesn't take sh*t from people trying to get over on someone, anyone. But they, in so many words, basically said they could care less that he served and had no business talking with them. I was young and wanted my bike back, so I paid their fee to return my bike. I sold her shortly thereafter, partly because we were moving and had our first newborn in-tow, and partly because of my experience. I later bought my second bike, a GXS-R1000. Had a great experience each time I took her (Jasmine) into the shop in Washington state. 16 years later I'm riding a 2020 Ducati Diavel 1260S. And I love Coleman Powersports (both the Woodbridge and Falls Church locations)! To think I almost gave up on riding because of the experience with my first bike. For all you riders out there, new and experienced, please research your shops. Unless Clinton Cycles has undergone a DRASTIC overhaul and has a decent longevity of positive reviews, I'd jump off a 100-ft cliff with a vespa and a prayer before I visited this shop again. I thank God I jumped back into the water with my next 2 bikes. It re-affirmed my love for motorcycling. It also restored my faith in good shops with good people. Only Triumph dealer in area and LOVE MY BIKE! Bought a 2008 Triumph Sprint ST ABS and the purchase experience was much better than my purchase and subsequent return of bike to Coleman PowerSports. However, considering it was a cash purchase it took too long. I purchased my Chev. Avalanche and was in and out in 2.5 hrs with the truck and for the motorcycle it took nearly 4 hrs to close with no negotiating and had to wait for delivery until next day. The Parts dept is not very friendly or helpful and twice has given me wrong information/prices or said they were unsure. I went to buy an accessory with a 20% birthday coupon they gave me and found that the price on the product was jacked up 20% over MSRP so final price was MSRP. Got same product on line with free shipping for 15% below MSRP. read more

Maury says, "That was a lie" You receive the insurance check to order my motorcycle parts and repair my motorcycle. Check received - December 5, 2017 Check cashed - December 9, 2017 Received parts list - January 5, 2018 Parts never ordered! Avoiding my phone calls by telling your front desk clerk to state you aren't there. Avoiding me at your place of business, by telling your front desk clerk to lie to me. I come to pick up my motorcycles from your shop after your shop was raided by the police, and none of the bikes are repaired, as a matter of fact, parts were removed and stolen off my bikes. Shop raided - April 26th, 2018 Pick up my motorcycles - April 28, 2018 Avoiding and/or not replying to my e-mails that were attempting to resolve this issue amicably, have having you refund me my monies . Yet, you have the audacity and "reh-tarded" nerve to be in your feelings, have an attitude, and mad because I caught you in your lie while you were attempting to avoid me at your shop. You attempt to try to catch me slippin' and blind side me cause you are in your feelings cause I stated to you that I would see you in court, and your other court cases, but I guess you forgot that you are out on bond, and threats and assault can get your bond revoked. Yet you owe me roughly $6500!!! Who wouldn't be looking to hunt you down to get their money??? You took my niceness and easy going nature for granted, so now you get to see how I will really handle business and people who screw with my money. I recently was looking to buy a new bike and visited Clinton Cycles to see what they had. I was interested in a Honda CB500X with ABS and asked for a quote. The salesperson quoted me full MSRP and added fees and taxes. When I asked if I could see what the individual fees were he told me that would be "illegal" (I've never heard a more ridiculous lie from a salesperson). All my further interactions with the salespeople were similar. In general, they have a good selection of bikes and their pre-owned stock is particularly extensive. read more

This place is great for proximity, other than that not a huge a fan. There is a moderate quantity of accessories from boots to helmets and gloves. There is a parts section which seems to be pretty well stocked. there is a service department and i know few folks who use them even for winter storage. read more

Took my cruiser down about a week ago for assistance installing a new battery and wiring some lights. These guys did a great job, and professionally done and great customer service. A few names to recognize for great service are Jeff, Rob, Angie, and Malik. The first two guys explained what work would need to be done and the second two helped on the customer intake/exit side of things. Today, I took my bike back down to diagnose an issue I believed was the stator...well, I wasnt far off, Angie gave me a call and updated me. I trust their work and would definitely recommend the riders to check them out. I dont do too much haggling on prices, I prefer quality work and have no problem paying for quality because it sucks to wait for a tow truck when youre supposed to be riding the motorcycle... read more

I have been using Clinton Cycles for most of my service needs for the past 2 years. In the summer of 2011, I was having electrical problems with my Ninja ZX10R, and determined that my stator was bad. I ordered the part off the internet but decided I didn't want to attempt to install it myself. I called several other shops in the area and they all wanted me to leave my bike for a week. I called Clinton and they let me bring my bike in that day and they put it on within an hour. They didn't even have a problem with the fact that I brought my own part in. Since that time, I have been using them for most of my service. Noel and Jeff are excellent technicians and are very thorough and knowledgeable. Plus their labor prices are very reasonable. The gear in the shop tends to be more lower-end to mid-range (Joe Rocket, Icon, Speed and Strength). If you are looking for higher end (Dainese, Alpinestars, Revit), you won't find that here. But I would say the gear they stock is appropriate for the area (PG County). The staff in the parts department are knowledgeable as well. Victor and Lee always know which parts are best. For bikes, they have an excellent selection of used bikes in good condition. Since dropping the Triumph franchise, they don't sell new bikes. Overall, Clinton Cycles is my go-to for service and parts. read more

Had my bike, along with a friends, picked up and taken to Clinton Cycles on August 31. It needed a stud tapped out and replaced on the header side of the exhaust, initially I was goign to have some extra work done, but could not get a timely quote so just went with the necessity. I just checked my phone for accuracy, I called 8 times over the time the bike was there (not including my friend checking in for both of us), each time was politely told it was "going up on the lift" or something simaliar but the ticket to the bike was entered until September 18 and parts were not ordered apprently for another week. It was finally ready on October 11 and picked up on October 13, the cost was nearly 50% more than quoted on the phone and was told by the shop manager that he couldn't help me with this bill but would give a discount on the next shop visit. The quote was $145, I was charged $206 and fortunately the store manager was able to reduce the bill back down to $145 but the whole visit to pick up the bike took over 1.5 hours to get the bike. My friend's bike is still there and he has yet to get a quote. The positives - Four weeks after drop off, they got a new shop manager and it appears that things started to happen after he arrived, maybe there is hope. The work appears to have done properly and the store manager took care of the overcharge. I won't be going back due to this experience and it is too far from my house, but maybe it will get better for those who do. read more

My real rating is no star Beware poor customer service and poor bike service and so unprofessional nothing was handled like any other bike shop I've ever been to and I would never go back for anything or recommend anybody to go there Took my dirt bike here to get it fixed ( 30 days later) After All the run around I just went and picked up my dirt bike .The bike was in the same condition I dropped it off i 30 days later broke down .Im now taking it to a certified motorcycle dealer . I have learned my lesson . first of all you never get a update on your bike you have to call and you never get a service tech or the service department you get the front desk secretary. When you call their always working on or your next in line .when you get frustrated after no return calls or a update and you go check your self after 15 days nobody even checked your bike . Theirs only one mechanic ( the service department manager) and looks like a helper . I honestly think they are unqualified mechanics . it seems like it's not a real motorcycle shop it's not like any other you've been to . It seems like a moms and pops spot we're their all related and to give customers great service somebody in the family has to get fired . I wish we could give less than 1 star! We try to support small business and unfortunately this was an epic fail. We will never go there again nor recommend friends or enemies to go for that matter. Long story short we took our Harley Street Glide in to get new rims, new back tire and tour pack added. When we went to pick up the bike after several weeks (yes weeks!), one of the bags have several scratches in it and no one bothered to mention this to us. After confirming we had a zero balance prior to picking it up, when we got there we were told we had a balance of $195. They agreed to fix the bag which was not buffed out properly and took an additional week. I asked owner (Francis) to speak to him, his response was to ignore me and keep walking and left the building. Horrible workmanship (screws were left off the tour pack) and customer service! read more

Had my sport tourer in for sale there. It sat for eight months, hardly their fault - the local population wants sport bikes, not big sport tourers like my Concours. So I decided to pick it up. I had put a brand new battery in it before I took it down there. They had let it completely die. I had to buy a $65 battery for $233 from them just to get it out of there, even though it was a result of their own negligence. The tires were at half PSI. They had knocked the button off the glovebox (fortunately it was still there and I could put it on). They lost a key. And all this and I gave them a days notice that I was coming to pick it up. I have read numerous review for this shop and decided to visit it because it is in a close proximity to my house. When I first arrived, just like numerous others have said in their reviews (Mainly through google reviews): Nobody attempted to assist me. It took about 10-15 minutes for someone to talk to me. I will give them the benefit of the doubt though because it was a saturday. This was the first weekend in March 2011, and the temperature was around 60, so the bikers were out. The shop was pretty crowded. When I first was approached, I explained which bike i'm interested in. I'm a first time rider so they tried to persuade me to pick a different bike. (250cc) It was a company that i never heard from - Hyosung. I did some reviews from my phone in the shop and not only does the company have good reviews but the bike wasn't what i wanted. They explained that I should start out with a 250cc but I wasn't interested in that bike and it would take a lot of effort to sway me away from my ideal first bike. I searched around for about an hour and decided on the bike that initially wanted. There were 2 differences though when looking at the bike. First, the mileage was missing a zero. So although the bike was stated to have 1k miles online, it really had 10k miles. That disappointed me. Second, the price was 600 higher than the bike online. They quickly adjusted the bike. Since i paid cash, i didn't have the issues that others had, but I was disappointed with the time it took for me to get the bike. I was there for over 4 hours just to get the bike. They stated that the bike was winterized so it had to be inspected and tuned up. As a result, I wasn't able to hear it run prior to purchasing it. Since i came with the mind state that it could take a while, I dealt with the time delay but i will tell you that it is boring sitting around for over 2+ hours. The bike was finally ready at closing time. (4pm) To give them the benefit of the doubt again, they said that they had numerous inspections that day. I didn't have insurance or my license at the time so i elected to have the bike delivered. They did that the same day for $60 which was fine with me. The shop is far from a horror story for me. I will tell you that they need to improve their service times, and make the buying process faster. I spent too much time in there for someone who paid in full. I received my title 1 week later. That same weekend I took the Motorcycle Safety Course. We practiced on 250CC bikes. I knew instantly that I would out grow those bikes. Which is why i'm glad i used my own instincts rather than a salesman. No disrespect to them though because it's a business. The goal is to sell you a smaller bike so that you can outgrow it, Trade it in for a huge loss, and purchase a bigger bike for 2k more than you would have spent on the ideal bike you wanted. (Which means you probably took a 3-4k loss in the long run) I took my bike out for the first time today (fully licensed and registered) and i will tell you that the bike is incredible. I made the perfect selection in my opinion. Of course i had to go to DMV and register the bike my self, but that is because at the time i didn't have a license or insurance. Since i had a title, It was no issue to get all of that done. They inspected the bike on site so that was also cleared. I actually was able to get my bike plated and pick up my license within the same DMV visit. So props to them for handling the paper work timely. I say that because they enter the information on their online system and mail the DMV the rest of the paper work. The DMV then mailed me the Title immediatly so between Tuesday (when they open) and (Saturday) when I received the title, I can state that the registration process on their end is good for riders that just simply buy the bikes but don't register them onsite. So to conclude this review, if you go there and are patient then you'll be fine. If you go there on a weekend, think of it like the DMV. BUSY. The shop served its purpose for me. They get 3 stars for some of the key down points I indicated, but I have no gripes with the shop. read more

I called every week and was lied to everytime...Asked for the manger every week she never came to the phone. Horrible service shop. They have changed ownership at this dealership several times over the past few years, and it was my first visit since the latest reopening. I was surprised by the unprofessional, and down-right RUDE behavior I experienced. My wife's 2001 Honda Rebel 250 had not been ridden in a while, needed a tune-up, and possibly a carb cleaning. I called to ask if they could get me taken care of, and was bounced through four people before someone finally answered my simple question. When I arrived, the service shop felt more like a barber shop with more people standing around chatting than working. We dropped off the bike on a Wednesday evening. No call back from the service shop the next day. I called around lunch time, and was informed that no one had looked at the bike. I called back Thursday night, and was told that no one had looked at it yet. Clearly I was perturbed, and then someone (not on the phone) said, "he needs a carb cleaning". I asked how much for the service, looking for a simple estimate, and couldn't get a straight answer. (Looking back, I should have taken my bike back then). I call Friday night, to ask if the bike is done, and they haven't even started on it. I call Saturday Afternoon, and am told the same thing. It appears that my calling to check the bike's status is annoying to them. By this point, I am beyond frustrated, and tell them that they clearly have too much work, and I'll take mine off their hands. I arrive Sunday to pick up the bike. The internet says they're open, the sign on the service entrance says they're closed. I go to the sales entrance and see people inside, so I ask, and confirm that the service side is open. I go back around, and enter, only to find the service desk empty. There are a couple of guys working on bikes in the shop, but they ignore me when I try to get their attention. After about five minutes of standing around, someone finally walks in, and asks if I need help. He calls a service rep in, who provides me with the paperwork to take to the cashier, as they are charging me 45 dollars for "checking the bike out". As far as I can tell, they turned the key in the ignition, and said "yup, carb's clogged" when we pulled if off the truck. I can't confirm that they ever touched it after my initial drop off. I pay the 45 dollars, and work my way back to the service shop. I show the paid receipt to the service clerk. He pushes the bike out the main door, and closes the garage door, without so much as a good bye. I'm kind of hoping he'll come out the service door, but instead, I'm left to get the bike back into my truck by myself, and am quite annoyed with the lack of customer service. At the end of the day, I took the bike home, changed the oil, cleaned the carburetor, and finished the tune-up myself in about three hours. The bike's running fine now, no thanks to the folks at CLINTON CYCLES/DMV BAGGERS. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE PEOPLE! read more

I went to Clinton Cycles to sale my motorcycles 3 weeks ago to Francine St. Holder and have been receiving the run around from him and other Managers at this shop. Mr. Holder told me about certain parts that needed to be fixed and to wait a week to see how much we could get for bike. Every time we call the check on the bike we are getting different information such as parts being ordered without are knowledge. This new family owned business is unprofessional and would explain the lack in businesss. On the other hand, the receptionist stay having personal conversations while watching tv not properly handeling concerns of their clients. I wouldn't refer this company if it was the last shop on earth. If I would have known the shop was under new management would have not went back. read more

I've only used this dealer for service so I can't comment on sales or parts, but I'd stay away from their service department. Generally speaking, their service department suffers from a lack of professionalism. Each time I visit the service department, one of the techs usually has to get on the phone to track down the service manager/writer, who apparently loves to be anywhere but in the service dept. Forget about reaching the service department by phone, and if you do manage to reach them by phone you can't trust what they tell you. I dropped off my CRF250R for some minor service and when I called 5 days later I was told that the tech would get to it in a few minutes and that someone would call me within an hour or so. No one called and each time I called over the next two days I was given excuse after excuse why nothing had been done. It would appear that they are chronically understaffed and are constantly scrambling to stay afloat. Go elsewhere and save yourself the potential troubles. read more

I wish I could give negative stars! DO NOT DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE! I have many friends who told me not to do it. They were adimant that I take my bike elsewhere even to the point where they were going to get trailers for me to put my bike on to take to a different bike shop. I ignored all of the bad reviews and ignored my friends and brought it to Clinton Cycles anyway. My bike had a problem where the battery was not charging and I dropped it off. Everything seemed fine at first... they diagnosed the problem in a week and they ordered the part and had it fixed a week after that so in total they had my bike for two weeks to replace my regulator/rectifier. I went to pick my bike up on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm... they close at 4 on Saturdays. I did not look over my bike because I am not a mechanic and I for some reason trusted them. They wheeled my bike out of the shop and after I paid I jumped on it and rode the short ride home on surface streets doing about 40. When I got home I noticed that a push pin was missing in the top of my fairings but I decided to overlook it because after reading the reviews I decided if that's the biggest problem I will live with it. It was about to storm so immediately put my bike in the garage when I got home and it stayed there the rest of the night. Sunday morning I woke up and took my bike to get a haircut; I jumped on 95 and starting doing about 80-85 when I looked down and notice the fairings on the left side of my bike were literally flapping in the wind. I pulled over and investigated and upon inspection realized that my left sidefairings had litterally been ripped off of my bike to the point where the bolts that connect the fairings to the bike still were tight in the holes with the piece that connects the farings to the bike still screwed in. Whoever worked on my bike literally ripped my fairings off and instead of screwing them back in the pushed them back together. That's not the worst part either! Of course the shop is closed on Sunday they were also closed on Monday even though at the time their website said they were open. I got a hold of the store manager and explained my situation to her. She talked to the technician and informed me that the technician told her he never took my fairings off to replace my regulator/ rectifier (something that's I find Gardner to believe). Mind you the shop meticulously inspected my bike when I dropped it off and took tons of pictures and my bike was not like that when I dropped it off. I knew that it was gonna be an uphill battle talking to them about this but after a while she told me to bring my bike in and take a look at it. I agreed because obviously I didn't do this to my own bike and I wanted it fixed. After I got off of work I began to head to my house to get my bike to take to Clinton Cycles when I get a call front them. It's the manager and she informs me that she has already talked to the owner and he's not going to even take a look at my bike because I drove it off the lot. NOT EVEN GOING TO LOOK AT IT! CAN U BELIEVE THAT! I SAY AGAIN ... NOT EVEN GOING TO LOOK AT THE DAMAGE. AT this point I was pissed and I told her I wanted to talk to the owner who made the decision and she offered me an email and an email only! I let her know that I was extremely U satisfied with their customer service and I would be contacting the better business bureau and she hung up on me. This place is wreckless and a rip off. There was no reason for me to rip my own fairings off as I didn't want or need new fairings I just wanted to ride my bike before the summer was over. I wouldn't have agreed with their decision if they would've looked at my bike and declined to fix my fairings but I would've at least respected the fact that they at least looked at it to see what was going on. Now I know why their reviews are so horrible and why my friends did everything they could to stop me from going there. Please if you are reading this LEAVE THIS PLACE ALONE! Just an update - I was charged a large sum of money for their 200 point inspection which i waited 4 hours for when i purchased my bike as well & here i am 2 weeks later, after having it looked at by a different mechanic.. the Gear shift indicator is faulty, the bike was also lowered beyond what is generally acceptable which is causing other issues. The other mechanic also explained what the red tape on the bike meant, that was strategically placed on both sides of the tail fairings. I've been in customer service and sales for an extremely long time, and any cost conscious consumer hates feeling like they got ripped off. For upwards $7400 you would think the bike would be problem free, for a bit more i could have gotten something newer. I will attempt to contact them on Tuesday to discuss the option of a trade, refund or repair. read more

Avoid this business like the plague! Beware that if you purchase a bike using credit or debit card and pay for the bike IN FULL, they will hold your title hostage for 14-28 days. They don't tell you this until AFTER they swipe your card and take your money. According to the sexist sales manager, it is "common industry practice." There is no way someone could show up with cash anyway, because once they add their "freight" fees and other charges, you pay much more than the sticker price. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere more professional. read more

I bought a brand new 2010 Triumph Bonneville last fall. Purchase experience was great, Service was another story. At about 130 miles on the Odometer, the shifter peg fell off while riding rendering the bike immobile. I called the Clinton Cycles, and immediately the blame was being cast on me, and in no way could this have been a defect. Apparently I was responsible for checking for loose parts on the bike, at 130 miles!! They were no help, and wanted me to tow the bike at my expense to the dealership. Triumph of America was no better on the phone. Talk about how the factory rep had never in his 13 years heard of such a thing, it must have been tampered with. I explained to both dealership and Corp HQ, in my entire career of working at Car dealerships, I had never seen or heard of such behavior of passing the blame off to the customer. The final fix was ordering the part online for a total of $13 plus shipping. Thank you Clinton Cycles and Triumph of America, you have pissed off a new customer and any potential referrals, for life. I went in to buy a small can of chain lube...$7....The needed everything except my SSN. Name, Address, phone number, and email address. After the name and address I politely said no thanks. I just want to pay for the chain lube and leave. I was told I couldnt pay with a credit card without giving them my email and/or phone number. I asked for a manager who said "have a nice day". I went there with my checkbook in hand. I could not get a salesperson to speak with me. I held my checkbook up, over my head, standing next to a Triumph I wanted. The heavy girl behind the desk shuffled by me, trying not to make eye contact. Apparently, this place makes so much money without selling bikes, they are not really that interested in talking to you. What really frightened me off was the thought of trying to get service on anything I buy there. I recently purchased a gsxr 1000 from Clinton Cycles, and I am happy with the bike but very unhappy about the service I received. When I purchased the bike I asked the salesman at least 3 times if there were any problems with the bike and every time he said no it wasn't outside of the damage to the fairings which I was ok with. The next morning I looked at the bike in my garage and the back tire was flat so I put some air in it and just thought it I just ran over a nail. Unfortunately that wasn't the case I took the bike to a different shop closer to my house and they told me the tire was bad and on top of that there was 2 different tires on the bike and it was brake fluid on the front rotors, so I had to pay for 2 new tires and had the leak fixed(which was about $400). Then about 2 weeks later my back brakes go out and after all this I call the shop to explain and see if there was anything they could do since my salesman decided not to be honest with me. I was told I would receive a phone call from him which I never did. Then I spoke to a woman in the back office and she said she would have the owner call me which he didn't. So I decided to go to Clinton cycles to see if the owner was there and of course he wasn't and I have yet to hear anything back from them. Before I forget when I bought the bike it was on consignment and they sold me the bike with the previous owners tag on it since they had to go and pay off the lean which I was ok with. But it took them a month to pay off the lean and get me the title but yet the called just about every 2 or 3 days asking me to bring the previous owners tag back with out being able to provide me with a title which I wasn't going to do. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN IN LIFE AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!!!!!!! read more

Bought a Bonneville from them around 6 months ago. Got a price I was happy with after spending a couple times in the place haggling over out-the-door price. Overall a good experience with these guys. I will go back and I have and will recommend friends to go there. First the good - Red, who I believe is one of the managers, was great to work with..can't say enough good things about him. Red gave me honest feedback on the bike, financing, etc and also helped me deal with Triumph on one of their rebates. I called up Red a couple of times for assistance and every time, he we above and beyond to help me out. Also, Bill, the GM, was incredibly helpful and I believe honestly wanted the best for his customers. The bad - After I purchased the bike, Triumph emailed me a post-purchase survey which I didn't fill out. After about a month I got a call from one of the other managers saying that he'd give me a $30 gift certificate to come in and fill out the survey in the office. Sounded good to me, so I went in. When I got there the manager sat behind me as I did my survey and looked at each grade I gave them. When I didn't give them 5-stars, he immediately asked what the issue was. The problem was that this manager was not doing this for the sake of providing better customer service, he just wanted all 5-star ratings. Because, I just wanted me $30, I gave them all 5-stars, bought something and left. If they Clinton Cycles wants honest feedback for their customers, let them take the survey in private. The other hassle was the "Thank a Hero Rebate." I was told by the same manager I just mentioned that this was a promotion that Triumph mailed a $350 check to the customer after the purchase of the bike. In reality, that was the opposite of the truth. Triumph mails the dealership $350. Without knowing this yet, I spent about 2 months painfully working with Triumph to get the promotional money pushed through. When I found out that the money was going directly to Triumph, I was furious. I called up Clinton Cycles and ended up talking to Red and Bill. Both explained there was a mis-communication with one of the managers and they ended up giving me a $400 stock gift card. Again, overall a positive experience. read more

I should have listened to the reviews. I took my bike for a tire change. They told me it would be an hour and a half. It was right after they opened and I left it there and went back to work. I went to get the bike after work and it still wasn't ready. When I went in there was another customer yelling at the service manager because he had brought a part to be put on his bike and it was still sitting on the desk when he came back. The service manager said he would take care of it and the irate customer said that he had said that when he brought it hours ago. The manager just laughed it off and went back to the work area to talk to a mechanic. The employee behind the desk told me it would be another half hour. When I asked what the problem was, he said that the manager had sent the mechanic to pick up another bike and that he would finish in 30 minutes. Well....you guessed it, 30 minutes later he told me it would be another 20 minutes. He said he knew it seemed dumb but there was only one guy with the right tools to work on my bike. The manager had been sending him around doing other things and to give him another 20 minutes. After they'd had the bike for 5 and a half hours, the tires were on. Then came the bill!!! They charged me what I paid for the tires to put them on. Ridiculous! The guy behind the desk was very nice and I don't fault him but that place needs a manager makeover. read more
