Located inside TimeOut Market, you order then seat yourself. I've read reviews that this food-court style Clinton St is a step down from the restaurant, but I have not been to the OG restaurant. Comparison is the thief of joy, and I have no comparison to make lol. I can only speak on their famous blueberry pancakes. It's delicious. I normally only share sweet breakfasts but I demolished my plate solo. The pancakes were fluffy, while the edges had a nice crisp to it! I really liked that they opted for a caramel (?) sauce instead of traditional syrup. I'll have to give the main location a shot and order different dishes, then I will compare..

TLDR: Get the Latke Eggs Benedict. Stumbled into Time Out Market after an early sunrise trek to Brooklyn and this place was the perfect breakfast/brunch to satisfy our hunger. You order at the register and they'll give you a buzzer - the wait wasn't too long. As someone who doesn't love English muffins but lovessss hashbrowns (crispy potato pancake as described on the menu) the Latke Eggs Benedict was a dream and very filling! Perfect amount of salmon, potato, egg, and hollandaise. I definitely wasn't expecting it but out of every dish I had in NY this stands out the most! Kept me full for the whole day. French Toast (5/5) Fluffy but crispy on the outside! Not too sweet. I'd come back to give the pancakes a try, they looked very tempting.

We were in dumbo and in the mood for a classic brunch. Ordered through the QR code and they brought our food to the table. I got two sunny side up eggs with sourdough toast and bacon. Food was decent, both me and my boyfriend thought it was pretty bland. Eggs and hash were unseasoned and biscuit and toast was dry.

It is always a great time when we go here as a family and just enjoy the delicious variety of foods. It's always packed so I'd advise making a reservation or getting there early. It's so worth it. I've recommended this place to a lot of people and now they're hooked. Here's to many more meals there.

Latke Eggs Benedict ($24) - Eggs Benedict is my go-to brunch order and this made it into my top 3. I've never had one like it and the latkes as the base instead of English muffins was genius. They were perfectly crispy and went so well with the other components. The roe caviar was like the cherry on top of this masterpiece of a dish. Highly recommend!

Very quality breakfast food at reasonable prices! The actual restaurant is no frills, but the the staff is friendly and attentive. Just an FYI - it gets very busy at brunch time on the weekends, so be prepared for a bit of a wait and a very crowded restaurant!

really delicious breakfast plates, the food hall in dumbo had a great vibe with ribs of options. everyone was friendly. my lady and i shared a breafast plate and stack of blueberry pancakes. The pancakes were so fluffy and the home made jam for the biscuit was great. only wish the hash browns were crispier with a dash more seasoning but all in all a good breakfast. get there early cus it does get packed!

I thought the mixed berry scone and chocolate chip cookie were both pretty bad. In complete fairness, I did walk for about 30 minutes before trying them back in my hotel room, but the scone basically dissolved in the bag and was extremely mushy when I ate it. Eating it fresh might have made it a little better but 30 minutes should not turn a good scone into mush. The cookie was ok but nothing to write home about. That said, the Time Out Market is a very nice spot to see the views of the city and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges from so i recommend visiting the market.

The Timeout Market's Clinton Street Baking Company stall is convenient and fresh. I came in a little late and picked up some scones, and the cashier named Louise was super kind and friendly. I definitely recommend stopping by. It's right near the exit and entrance, and the vibe is very ambient. It stands out as a great spot for a quick coffee and snack.

Breakfast here was really good. It was pretty busy when we stopped by so we decided to place our orders on our phones as the cashier was busy making drinks. We were able to grab three seats overlooking the kitchen and we watched the cooks prepare our food. My plate consisted of potatoes, eggs, ham, a biscuit, jam, and bacon. I also ordered an orange juice to go with my food. We waited about 10 minutes for our food to be ready and it all came out hot. The food was a little too bland for me so I grabbed some hot sauce to give it a kick. The hot sauce worked. My friend ordered a stack of the pancakes and they were really good. Service was good. Tables were hard to come by as this place was really busy!

I can't believe the wait is 2 hours. I don't think the food here is worth it and would advise against it but luckily I had a reservation. I ordered the blueberry pancakes because the waitress said that they were one of their most popular items on the menu. It tasted fine but nothing to rave about or that's special. I had a bit of the hash brown and that was awful and the scrambled eggs were fine. Unfortunately, where I was sitting prices of the air conditioner were falling and almost touched my food. I told my server about this but she didn't seem to care. This place only has one bathroom and is quite small. There are thousands of breakfast spots in the city, but I wouldn't recommend this place unless there is a short wait.

Went 2 weeks in a row for pancake month in February to try different flavors. The triple berry with lemon curd was my favorite. I also had the bourbon pecan which was tasty but felt like it was missing something. Pancakes are cooked perfectly, fluffy and buttery. When I went on a holiday it was super crowded and I waited in line about 30mins but the second time I went it was no line at all. The chicken sausage is delicious & the eggs are nothing special. The hot chocolate is ok I probably won't get it again.

BUT, imho Adel's doesn't really taste as good as the original Halal Guys in terms of flavor and fragrance. The chicken from Adel's is in bigger chunks and some argue is more tender, but the flavor is definitely not close. Also, it's important that it comes with lettuce, tomatoes and a little onion to balance everything out. Finally, You must get both the spicy red and white sauce together to make it all come together! The Ugly: The smell is addictive, so if you walk by, it's hard to resist, even if you've just eaten a nice meal somewhere else. We couldn't resist. Gotta hit the gym hard for the next few days!

And that line is no joke. You will wait. Plan accordingly. Here's my dilemma: every single time I eat here, my stomach lets me know about it later. Without fail. I've tried adjusting the hot sauce, going easy on portions... doesn't matter. Something about this food and my digestive system just don't agree. At this point I have to accept that it's probably not for me. So why do I keep coming back? Because at 2 AM after a late night, when everything else is closed and you're starving in Times Square, that platter of chicken and rice over white sauce smells like salvation. They're the only game in town at that hour, and honestly, in the moment, it hits. It's the next morning I regret it. If your stomach handles it better than mine, you'll probably love it. The food is tasty and the portions are huge for the price. I just wish I could enjoy it without paying for it twice.

I do think they do as good of a job managing it as possible, but it is still quite the long line. If you do decide to wait in the line, I recommend sending a friend over to Magnolia Bakery to get you a treat while you pass the time. Overall, the lamb and chicken were extremely tender and flavorful. The sauce and rice were great as well, complementing them perfectly. The service is very efficient, and they do have a few cards set up to maximize the efficiency. It was great, and I'd say it's worth trying if the line is short! Otherwise, I would pivot to another nearby great option that you can easily find.

Absolutely overrated. This place is probably overhyped thanks to Instagram and YouTube influencers,…read morebecause the actual food is nowhere near worth the attention. Yes, it's only $10 if you pay cash, but honestly, the quality you get feels like it should cost even less. There are plenty, and I mean plenty of other halal spots that are significantly better than Adel's. We tried both the combination plate and the falafel plate. The falafel was so bad we threw the entire plate in the trash after just one bite. It was oily, heavy, and downright disgusting. To make matters worse, they drown everything in a ton of white sauce, which feels like an attempt to mask how poor the food actually tastes. The chicken on the combo plate was extremely bland and dry. It didn't taste fresh at all . A lot of their meat is pre-cooked somewhere else and just reheated at the cart. The pita is clearly store-bought in bulk and has a cardboard-like texture. The rice was the only somewhat acceptable part, but even that was dry and underwhelming. I genuinely don't understand how anyone would come back here a second time when there are so many other halal carts that are easily 1000 times better. It's definitely not worth standing in line for 30+ minutes. On top of that, the staff is surprisingly rude and tends to snap at you, even when you are just asking basic questions. Skip this overrated cart and save your money.

Since I'm a survivor, I thought it only appropriate to take Jamie to the original flagship location and order what else but the Recession Special. Sure enough, they still offer it for $7.50.
