Unfortunately, incompetent. Assigned to me (like others who have reviewed) via Fidelity National Home Warranty to review a faulty pressure regulator. Art, who apparently is a lead at the company arrived and was clearly in a hurry to "get it/get out". He failed to isolate the house from the pressure regulator (as is the appropriate protocol - 30 seconds of research confirms, as did a subsequent plumbing co and a GC) resulting in a 'normal' pressure reading of 70 psi when the actual reading had been measured at 150 psi, which is far above 'normal' or safe for fixtures and plumbing. In fact, the pressure relief valves (of which there are 2) were leaking water due to the over-pressured system, and the regulator failure. I put my GC on the phone with Art but he refused to listen. The outcome was that his erroneous report was filed with Fidelity and I had to work uphill for days to rectify the situation, as Fidelity dug in based on results that were favorable to them (i.e. "no problem/no payment"). Had i accepted the "diagnosis" I would have been left with a faulty regulator and an ongoing, and potentially serious problem for my property. Suggest you avoid this vendor. read more

I told him it's not operating at full capacity it's slow and clogs to often. He said - it still works...don't put food down there scrap your plates! There was nothing clogging the disposal..NO Food! These aren't good guys. They have come out twice to our house because they were sent by our home warranty company. The first time the guy said he couldn't remove a leaky sink valve because it was too tight and that he would have to come back and charge more. He was using a pair of pliers that was the wrong tool. I went and got the proper tool, a pipe wrench, and easily removed it while he watched. The second time they came out for a simple kitchen waste line blockage. There is a T shaped clean-out outside. He said he couldn't put the snake in the clean-out because there were rocks or something hard stopping the snake. He showed me by taking a rigid copper pipe and putting it down the clean-out until it hit the bottom. He said, see, it won't go any further. I told him I thought he was just hitting the bottom of the T, and that the pipes wen to the left and right, but he said I'm not a plumber and he knew better. Then they gave me an estimate of $750.00 to dig out the clean-out and remove the obstruction. I figured they were trying to scam me out of more money so I called another plumber. The second plumber easily put the snake in and cleared the line in about 5 minutes. I called the owner of the company to give him the chance to make it right since I had paid the deductible to the home warranty company and I also had to pay the second plumber. He was belligerent and unhelpful and didn't offer any options. So either this plumber didn't know what he was doing, or he did know and he tried to take advantage, either way, not a good way to conduct business. read more

Short story. Arman fixed my problem in less than 10 minutes. Long story, I live in a condo and have American Home Shield as my home warranty program. My shower lost all water pressure and the building plumber happened to be inspecting my stack for another issue, along with an outside plumber. They said I'd have to have the water shut off and have a valve worked on. American Home Shield first sent Accent Plumbing to deal with the problem. They wanted the water shut off also. Building wanted copy of license and proof of insurance. They don't have a license! Then they assigned it to Arsenal Plumbing. They REFUSED to send proof of insurance and license. Finally, a month and a half into this, they sent Cloggmasters. Arman noted that the valve pulled in and out and had a minor problem. He fixed it in ten minutes and I have a shower! I'd say if you have American Home Shield you should ask for Cloggmasters! read more

I had a leak that was going into my neighbors unit, and after assessing the problem (it took some time because the problem was more in depth than what we were expecting.) He was patient with me, explained the problem, and how to move forward to fix it. Art is a busy man, and I understand why. He does good work, is thorough, and fairly priced. Add to that Sona, who does all of the scheduling, is extremely friendly and efficient. She always gives me the heads up when Art is on the way. I have never left a very negative review for any business on Yelp (even if I wasn't pleased with the service or product I received since I didn't want to publicly complain about small businesses), but there's a first time for everything. Cloggmasters was called by my home warranty insurance to my home to help me with a failing tankless water heater. After 3 or 4 visits they couldn't completely resolve the issue, and the next step they recommended was not covered by our home warranty insurance. At that point, I had to decide on making $700 of repairs on the unit or purchase a replacement for about $2,200. I was disappointed at that point but it is what it is was my attitude. However, I asked to speak with their team a few times to help me understand why they were recommending repairs not covered by my home warranty insurance and to decide what to do next. Ultimately, I was leaning towards paying for them to install a totally new unit and I called to ask them to do the work. But before I could really say anything the person who returned my call said I was calling them too much and taking up too much of their time so I should find another plumber. I understand that I probably asked a lot of questions, but when a $700 to $2200 expense comes out of nowhere, I can't help but ask a lot of questions. I guess they must work with a lot of folks who happily fork over a couple thousand dollars without asking too many questions. Their inability to fix my water heater after several visits combined with this final unprofessional touch was a the straw that broke the camel's back for me, and here I am leaving a one star review on Yelp for the first time. Do not hire this company to do work for you. If they are sent to you by your home warranty company and have no choice in the matter like me, good luck!! If you have any say in the matter, ask your home warranty to send another company if it's not too late. read more

The HOA and the Management Company sent a plumber with Cloggmasters to confirm my complaints filed in small claims court, specifically regarding the debris emanating from the tub faucet. This fact was confirmed with a written Report from the Water Quality Department of the LADWP. Changing out the over 50 year old Boiler was the recommendation. Indeed, the plumber witnessed the pipes clanging AND the cloudy water emanating from the hot water bathroom faucet. As I requested that no photos were to be taken, when the plumber took out his cell, he was immediately asked to leave my home. This company was the one who came to our house after I had a horrible experience with the first plumbing service that the home warranty company provided. Art, the plumber came, took a quick look at the clogged toilets, bathtubs and shower that had sewage sitting for 2 days now since the home warranty company is another nightmare to deal with! He said he couldn't do the clean out. He wants to charge us $1200-1500 instead to build a pipe from the front of our house. We said no cause we needed to think about it first. He left quickly. I called back the number on the invoice paper within 30 minutes, and this other guy answered and said that they are closed, even when the paper said they're open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
