Again, she helped us organize everything, from labeling and alphabetizing all of our spices, to helping us get a handle on our pantry and kitchenware. Louise works really hard, is easy to talk to, can work with different personality types (several of my friends use her too!), helps you donate/trash unwanted items, and makes you love your house again. Our project was split into multiple steps (because of us, not them) and they graciously planned around us and came back multiple times throughout the project. They even gave us the suggestion of starting the floors, and then coming back to finish them after we finished painting walls because of dust, debris, etc., to make sure we were happiest with the end result. When we had questions or any concerns, they were quick to call, give tips, and come back to assess or change something based on our preferences. They even gave us some of the product they used so we could match our baseboards and fill them the way they suggested. I would highly recommend them for any flooring project.

During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. The end result was beautiful and it had been a great experience working with Serhii and his family crew! Northwest Flooring is definitely at the top of my list for any of our future hardwood flooring needs!

Used him again for a different kind of job - replacing an in-wall air-conditioner. He was very good…read moreat responding to text messages, worked us in quickly, and was flexible when Home Depot delayed our order. He was also very good at fitting the new AC into the space for the old one and ensuring it was sealed and weather proofed. However, when he finished the work, he left large boxes and packing materials scattered where he opened them and filling our kitchen floor and on the dining room table. He didn't do anything to organize the mess or break down the boxes. He said most of it was recyclable and he wouldn't do anything with it. Left us to clean up after he left and figure out how to manage and get rid of these large heavy boxes. Additionally, he had put the old AC on our deck. We asked if he would recycle the old AC and he agreed - charging us an additional $200 to take it. When he put it on our deck, it left piles of black (not sure what) that we had to clean after he left. Additionally, I had purchased a new bracket to support the new air-conditioner. He decided without consulting me to use the old bracket instead. (Hopefully it last for the long run!)

The workmanship of the…read morefinished deck exceeded our expectations, and every person we encountered was pleasant to work with. Our project was the installation of an 8' x 11' elevated attached deck. I had whittled my initial list of contractors down to six before choosing All Decks. Cost was competitive but was not the lowest bid. This was the third deck in this location. The previous two were wood. This time we chose to have a composite deck installed, to not have a stairway, and to have the area underneath the deck protected from rain. As this was an elevated deck, it was covered by municipal code requirements more stringent than when the previous two decks were built. We worked with Adam during our initial contact, and in designing the deck. We chose Dekorator planking, Trex handrails, and the Trex RainEscape system. We wanted to minimize supporting posts, as a competing bid would have used 6 posts, and we had seen decks on houses like ours that had 5 to 6 posts. All Decks was able to use only 2 posts by having larger-size (6"x6") posts and by attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor. The All Decks showroom was extremely helpful in choosing materials and colors, and in evaluating the RainEscape system relative to alternative underdeck rain coverings. Kendall did thorough work when he visited to do the detailed yard survey required by code. The level of detail in the resulting documents was unexpected and illuminating. The three-man team led by Chris who put up the deck was professional and unobtrusive. A special challenge was attaching one side of the deck to our cantilevered 2nd floor as the current municipal code requires an exceptionally robust connection. Installing this connection required removing several plank-and-tongue grooves from under the overhang of the cantilevered 2nd floor, which is very difficult without causing damage. I was skeptical that it could be done and was pleasantly surprised to see the excellent appearance of the re-installed planking. (As expected, I repainted the reinstalled planks myself.) As for the steel-bar-reinforced concrete footings, Chris meticulously set their height so as to enable the potential future installation of a ground-level deck made from pavers. The gentleman who delivered and picked up materials and the portable toilet was discreet and careful. Crystle ensured smooth communications for scheduling, billing, etc. We are very satisfied with the All Decks team and their work.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.

We worked with our designer Melissa P. for our Master his/her closets, and our playroom closet. Melissa was professional, on time, and extremely detail oriented when she planned out each of the closets. My husband is 6'8" and she was thoughtful enough to adjust the height of everything in his closet to a more tailored fit- she even measured his shoe size to ensure the depth of each shelf would work to hold them without any overhang. I did not get ANY sort of "salesy" vibe from Melissa. She was extremely down to Earth, made genuine recommendations, and did not apply any pressure at all to make a decision right then and there. She gave us time to discuss and allowed us to come back to her when we were ready (which wasn't long- she designed the most dreamy closets we just couldn't pass up). A few days later I wanted to make some tweaks to a few things, and it was as easy as one phone call. I truly felt like we received an amazing deal for what we received. The closets are quality built, custom designed, and everything went as planned. Overall, the customer service from our first experience with Melissa, to the phone calls with others in the office, to the communication with the builder on-site during installation, exceeded all of our expectations and did not leave us feeling remorseful for this investment. Exceedingly happy with the whole process. I started by comparing this company with one other big name closet company. They were very similar in pricing, design and options. One difference in Closets by Design was their units go all the way to the floor (which maximizes usable space), unlike the other company. This became my deciding factor. The designer was responsive to all my requests for clarifications and design alterations. The installer was incredibly polite and respectful of my home and asked me if I had any home rules I would like him to follow. He walked me through at the end, asked if I needed any adjustments and cleaned up. Do I wish it was cheaper- sure. Am I happy I splurged for it? ABSOLUTELY! I had Closets by Design redesign my narrow walk-in closet. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful; very professional and knowledgeable. A very personable gal came and measured my closet and explained my options. I now have modular pieces including upper and lower hanging racks; cupboards (for purses, etc); drawers (which I LOVE) for socks and underware; and a HAMPER!! The hamper looks like a cupboard but opens from the top (hinged on the bottom) with a divided heavy duty bag that can be removed and carried to the washing machine. It's just the best. Installation was easy and the guy was very knowledgeable, personable and pretty fast. It probably took about 3 hrs for him to install everything. I am a very happy customer! read more

Just got our closets installed (took less than 3 hours) and we are so happy with the result! My closet previously barely had enough space for any new clothes, but now there is more hanging and storage space than I know what to do with! We ended up ordering and installing 2 personal closets and shelves for our laundry room, all designed by our designer Olesya. She took a seemingly small walk-in closet room and maximized the space extremely well, while taking into account our needs to have enough hanging space and extra storage. The adjustable shelves are also very convenient, especially when it comes to storing differently sized things. The final product turned out pretty nice. We were satisfied with this company. We think there are opportunities to improve on the design process - our designer missed several things in the closet that needed to be accounted for on the fly by the installers (a panel to access radiant heat and an outlet). Additionally, the designer did not provide adequate advice to include reasonable space for our shoes. That seems like a pretty basic thing for them to remember to remind customers about who are designing a bedroom closet. The installer was completely professional and did an excellent job - on that side of things, we were very satisfied. All in all, would recommend to a friend. read more

My husband and I were extremely happy with our experience with Closets by Design. I had a vision for the style I wanted, so double-checked with them before they came out that they do, indeed, offer that type of thing (floor to ceiling system). Hannah came out, listened to what we wanted, and was able to draw up a tentative floor plan and quote on the spot. We ended up making a few adjustments and each adjustment was responded to respectfully and quickly. i had a great experience with Closets by Design! they responded quickly to my initial inquiry. Our designer, Sarah, was on time, friendly, professional, and efficient. She was direct and did not try to upsell me. I was on a tight timeline, and she made the install happen for me very quickly! Installers (one of them was Alex) completed the job while I was out of the house, and they communicated effectively by text. Left the place spotless and the product looking fabulous! Very happy. After working with my design consultant Sarah, the process was seamless and very informative. We had two different and awkward spaces to design and she was a huge help!! Bryce came in and did an amazing job on the install! He was communicative and very respectful of my space. I couldn't be home for the install so he sent me pictures during the day to update me on the progress. Overall it was a great experience and I'm very happy with my new built-ins! read more

When I open my closets everday, I am so thankful I had the closets done. It was originally supposed to be one closet but then I asked for an estimate on others that were so difficult to keep things organized. Melisssa worked with me within my budget and gave me great suggestions so I ended up doing all that I wanted. They worked with my schedule and I was always kept informed through every stage. We had our master closet redone this month and we love it. It's so much more organized and everything is easily accessible. The designer did such a great job with her design that nothing needed to be changed. The installer was kind, respectful, and got the job done quickly. The installation was all taken care of and I am super happy with the custom closets installed in my very small condo. I installed custom closets for the primary closet, coat closet and den area. After almost 20 years, we decided to replace our carpet. It still looked great and had no…read morenoticeable stains, but after 6 pets, 2 kids, and a fairly significant water leak from our bathroom, it was time. My husband and I visited the Woodinville showroom and Jacob was the first salesman who welcomed us in. I wanted to replace our carpet with another high quality carpet that would last for the next 20 years. He was friendly and happily answered my questions, showed us a few samples and let us look around. We took home a couple boards and I returned later in the week and picked up another half dozen or so. We settled on a carpet especially designed for pets that comes with a 25 year warranty. Trying to find the perfect color that would work well with our LVP and hardwood floors was challenging! Since we were torn between two similar colors, Jacob offered to contact the manufacturer and get larger samples for us and have them sent to our home via FedEx. He was excellent in communicating through email how the scheduling and payment process worked and kept us informed of anything we needed to know about along the way. The installation was last week and went just as smooth. We're very happy with the product we chose and I would gladly do business again with Haight Carpet and Jacob!

Everyone there is friendly and nice. The price was reasonable plus a 10% repeat customer discount. We paid a small fee to get our heavy appliances removed and re connected. It is worthy the money. The job was done professionally. The installers worked very hard. I love my new floor.
