I ordered a Black out shade and Black out slider shade. The one on the window keeps coming off the tracks, and light shines in from the sides. I have e mailed them numerous times on this matter as far as they are concerned it is working properly. I have all e mail documentation and videos and pictures of this shade. They won't let me speak to the owner. They just say i need to use it properly. I have had my friend's over to see if they can close this shade without coming off the tracks and agree the design of the shade is faulty. They offered to replace it at my cost even though i paid top dollar for the original . Their closets might be fine, but their window products are terrible, and they are house snobs. The installer kept bragging about his house and how he had all shutters. I would not recommend these people. If only the owner had talked to me, maybe we could have sorted this out . I was referred to Closets Las Vegas by my home builder. My initial encounter was with Erin and she was very helpful in discussing my options. I moved into my new home and was ready to purchase additional accessories to finish my closet. My sister (who also got her closet installed by CLV) and I made an appointment to meet with Erin on August 25th. We were instead helped by Joe, the owner. He stayed after-hours to help us find the right pieces to finish our closets. He also gave us a sample shelf to try at home. Upon returning home I noticed none of the spaces in the closet measured 24" or 30" which was needed to hang the sample shelf and other closet accessories. I called Joe the following morning to explain the situation. He gave me his email and asked me to send him pictures of my closet. I did not hear back from him. I called CLV a week later to follow up, and was told Joe was in a meeting and I'll be getting a call back. I did not get a call back. I called CLV again on September 5th and got a hold of Joe. Even after all those days had passed, I did not receive an apology. He said to expect an email from him. So I waited again. The following morning I received an invoice from Andi listing all the accessories discussed with Joe during our August 25th meet, along with pieces for the garage (which was not what I had requested). Andi also let me know in a separate email that the parts are for pick-up only, and that I will be responsible for cutting the shelving and installing them myself. Was anyone coming to fix the incorrect spacing? At this point I was quite frustrated, but I still wanted to work things out so I gave them another call. Andi let me know that Erin will be taking care of this issue, but that she's currently busy and will call me back in about 10 minutes. I left my name and number and waited, but I did not get a call back. Instead I got a message from my sister saying that she had gotten a call from Erin about MY house. I called Erin back and she said she'll sort things out and send me an email shortly. I didn't get anything that day. I waited another day before calling CLV again. Andi let me know that Erin was busy, and if she could take a message. I let Andi know that I'd like to have the closet system removed from my house. I just couldn't take it any more. I received a call from Joe. Instead of a simple apology, he said, "So, now what's the problem? I thought we had it all figured out on August 25th..." I explained to Joe that I got tired of waiting and getting pushed off to someone else each time I tried to work it out. Then he said, "You know we can't give you a refund." I told him I understand. His response was, "Do as you wish." He then told me I was scheduled for a fix on Friday. I told him this is the first I'm hearing about a schedule on Friday, but that the date/time was fine with me. A couple of minutes later I got a call from Joe saying that he does not have it in his heart to take back what I paid good money for, and that I should give the parts to my sister... I explained to Joe that all I needed was a simple apology and reassurance that things would be fixed. He then told me he was "very very sorry." Apology much too late. I took a loss of $1300+ and had to have the next company doing my closet to remove the unwanted pieces. What a nightmare! read more

I'm in the process of building a new home and Closets Las Vegas is the preferred closet vendor. While there are some preselected options offered through the builder, I wanted to see what could be customized for my home. I scheduled a browse appointment with Chantal Klinger and she was so nice and friendly to communicate with via phone and email. When we met, she walked me through the process of tailoring the right closets for my needs and that included the different systems they offered. I selected the FreedomRail, which is a totally customizable closet system that can easily add, remove or move the parts in the future. In my configuration, I selected several drawers that will be installed during the new build process. However, if I needed more in the future, I could always call and buy the various pieces I like and just click them into the rails. In the pantry, I added shelves and baskets for vitamins and other small items. Closets Las Vegas has great color samples to match the decor of many homes and tastes; the Driftwood color matches perfectly to the cabinet I selected with the builder! Chantal was patient and answered all of my questions and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. She understood I wanted to stay within a budget and still have all my needs met. The FreedomRail was the perfect option, which kept the costs in the range I was hoping, and still offered a luxurious feel to the system. The quality of the materials feels very substantial and I love the color choices as well. Chantal even offered me a sample of the Driftwood color which I can compare to my cabinets. We talked about the handles and I chose the the Straight Nickel Pulls, which are wide and feel solid. I enjoyed working with Chantal so much and like that we had a second appointment to review everything and confirm my decisions. Chantal was assigned to our project and we will say she is the master of her craft. She came up with a design that by far exceeded our expectations. At the time that we met, we were not ready to pull the trigger because we had to remodel the room first. There was no pressure for the sale, which we appreciated. My husband and I just bought a new build home. Patricia was so kind when we met her. We decided to build out 2 of the three closest in our new home. We did the Master and I had a vanity added. I was so excited about this as I have sat down to get ready since middle school. This way I can keep my sink clean. When the installer came he was very nice. He asked me why did I not get a drawer. I never thought of that and did not know that was an option. So I called Pat and left her several messages. She got back and said she would get me a price. Then I waited. I called back, she said it would be almost 500 because of install and extra things that I would of not paid if I did it in the original build. She said the owner was in the office that day and she would talk to him. I waited and then left a couple of messages. Then I sent her a text saying how disappointing this was for me. Never trust this one. Get it in writing, and then hope. The basic middle of the line, for them, which I purchased, does not have "end caps", it's open ended. If it dead ends into a wall, great. If you want (6) of those 2 x 1/4-inch x 6 feet, would be $2,500 extra, "take it or leave it". It turns out both Loews and Home Depot, have the same materials to complete the work, that was expected. Build your own, it's easy with instructions. Lumber tard prices $90 materials $200 labor. $100 per hour approx. 2 hours. First it took two phones calls from us to even schedule an appointment . They were very unprofessional when speaking to us . They had a pre designed closet for us and my girlfriend didn't like it and had her own in mind . After that the sales agent was sarcastic towards her . We weren't trying to spend 10s of thousands on a closet but we had a good amount we wanted to spend. Good service ceased once our order and deposit were taken. During the four weeks that it took to produce our closets we could not get any feedback, update or status of our order, the response was only "production department will call when it is time for installation. Installation was terrible. The top rod was so high it was a foot above the wife's reach. The installer complained that it would be a lot of work to lower it, and finally agreed to do it after I indicated I would have to call the office to get it rectified. It wasn't a lot of work - he completed the task in 20 minutes. The installation was paused for over an hour while the installer waited for a part to be delivered. This time, there were numerous delays, miscommunications, and mistakes. It's been over two months, and I'm still trying to get my closet finished. We designed our master bedroom closet with Chantal Klinger and she was Awesome. She was very professional and patient with us throughout the entire process in choosing our options. We decided on a combination of the Classica and Freedom Rail Designs in Midnight with an island. We loved the design so much that we are considering having our laundry room, pantry and wine room done by Closets Las Vegas as well. Chantal went an extra step in providing great customer service and mentioned that while the team was on site taking the measurements for our master bedroom closet that we could actually have them measure the additional rooms for any future projects and she would maintain the files on record, minimizing repeat trips or inconvenience. So, my initial experience with Closets Las Vegas, was great and when it came close to my loan closing; I called to check on the status of my order. Mary informed me that Gregg was no longer employed with the company. She went on very rudely to tell me that Gregg under charged me for my order. I was also informed that my blinds/shutters had not been ordered. Mary further stated, with what I perceived to be an attitude, that my blinds would not be ordered until escrow closes. I informed her that I had informed Gregg that I would pay cash for my order, so that all of my blinds/shutters would be ready when it was time for me to move. Mary stated " well, I don't know what to tell you, that's how it works." I inquired, as to why no one had contacted me when Gregg left the company, instead of waiting 7 months and waiting for me to call. Why wasn't I contacted.... Mary stated, "well I'm telling you now." I requested to cancel my order at which time her attitude changed and she informed me that I would have my roller shades two days after I move. However, my shutters would be Late December or early January. Keep in mind this conversation transpired early November. Well, my roller shades were installed, all but my kitchen shades, the one's I stressed I needed when I moved, as I didn't want to look in my neighbors kitchen. I was provided with a sad excuse, as to why I didn't have my kitchen shades. I called the store and expressed my dissatisfaction and I was informed that Mary would call me back. The call was made on 12/13; as of today 12/20 I have not heard from Mary. To boots with it all, my shutters now won't arrive until February. I have purchased shutters in the past and I know they don't take three months!!!!! There's nothing I can do now because they were paid their money through escrow....... I feel like I was punished because one of their salesmen made a mistake on my order and he's no longer there to defend himself or me.... read more

Do you love organization like I do? If so, Closets Las Vegas is a great place for you! We needed to maximize our kitchen pantry and bedroom closet system, and we actually first started with the Container Store's Elfa closet system. We reviewed all the options, designed our layout and costed everything out and was ready to buy the system at one of their annual sales. But one day we were driving on Warm Springs and saw the Closets Las Vegas' storefront sign and looked them up on Yelp. Low and behold, 5 stars all over the place. So I emailed questions via Yelp, made an appointment to take a look at what they offer, asked them to come by to take dimensions, and received a quote. Easy peasy on the process, and I was also sold on the quality and craftsmanship of their product. Joe the owner was also very helpful, informative and helped with suggestions on lowering cost. In the end, it was cheaper than the container store! It takes them a week to order the product custom sized to your space. Then a couple of days to schedule them to come out and rip out the existing closet system (which is included in the install price). The only thing they do not do is patch and paint after they rip out the old system - you still need to do yourself or find someone to do it for you. Then comes the install - it takes less than a day and viola, organization! We plan to use them in the future for the garage system... but one project at a time. read more

I was referred by American West and i ordered closets upgrades and window coverings from them because i wanted it ready immediately upon or after closing date. They have retail price and want 100% down one month or more before closing and this is unfair. - Master Closet top shelf with rod is too high to reach and too close from the ceiling. There are no height indication on the PO and they did not ask at what height i wanted them. They have not offered to modify their installation, they have just replied that it was shown with the same height at their showroom...(not the same ceiling as the Master Closet). So, all dimensions are custom but not the height? This is BS. - 3 Window coverings arrived for the wrong windows, and their replacement are coming 1 month later... Nice people during the Sales process but they are not interested with your input anymore after they cashed your 100% down payment. Hire a handyman and order parts from Lowes it won't be more expensive and at least you'll get what you want. read more
