The winner! We've just lived in the area since July and I've tried numerous places to eat as I'm a foodie. This is my favorite of all. Starting with the not-too-loud country music that reminds me of my dad, it's a very comfortable place. Guests are welcomed with smiles and a dish of the freshest fruit! My stone fruit this morning was spectacular, making me need a visit to the farmers market for some more at home. The coffee is served in fine china - makes me feel fancy. The menu has a wide selection at exceptionally reasonable prices. My favorite is the steamed omelet. It's so light, airy and flavorful. I don't know how they make it but it's amazing. This place is really a gem! Located on the second floor of a 2-story building, this place offers a simple yet delicious and fresh menu. It was our first time today and we were impressed! We arrived at about 11:30 and were seated immediately, but I think once the word really gets out on how great this place is, there's going to be a longer wait. We ordered the breakfast burrito and croissant omelette. It came with coffee and tea that they serve on china. Our breakfast was also served on china. The food was fresh, simple, but really delicious! Even my picky two year old gobbled down the cheesy fluffy omelette without hesitation or encouragement to eat from me! Warning, their omelettes take about 15 minutes because they are steamed (totally worth the wait!). Service is fantastic. People are friendly and it feels very home-like. This place has really good french toast and the Denver omelets are fantastic. The location is a little weird, second floor of a business complex. Also the vape stuff at entry will throw you off, but get past that and you will have a great breakfast. The owner I believe is a younger male. He greeted us and served us. I'm reluctant to post a review about this gem. Very quiet and quaint and everything I want in a breakfast place. The people are really nice and mellow. Coffee that I had was great and fresh and the breakfast burrito was amazing. I asked for them to place the sausage of the day inside and it gave such a great flavor to the burrito. Prices are surprisingly low, and although it's a smaller place the wait was about 5 min. One weird thing I noticed that there was a vape shop when you walk in, but there was no degenerates hanging out. So that's a plus. read more

We tried the Cloud Café today. It's right down the street from us but kind of invisible, being on the 2nd floor of what used to be a medical building. We arrived about 11:15 and there was plenty of parking. The elevator was locked and you were supposed to call for a key, so we just walked up the stairs instead. The restaurant is bright and clean. We were seated immediately since only one other table was in use. Currently the restaurant is open until 2:00 and only breakfast is served - looks like the lunch menu has been cancelled. Service is not particularly fast because food is prepared only when ordered. My wife ordered a 3-egg omelet with spicy Italian sausage, onion, red pepper, and cheese. It was steamed, not fried, and was really good. It came with a hash brown potato cake and toast. I had the Belgian waffle with over-medium eggs and pork sausages. All were cooked excellently, and the sausages were nice and crispy outside but juicy and moist inside. The waffle was served with real maple syrup, a pleasant surprise. Our breakfasts were $8 each, a pretty amazing price. A generous carafe of coffee was $1.50, and chilled sliced pluots were served as a tart appetizer, gratis. Coffee cups and saucers, plus the dishes used in the breakfast service, were figured china of the thin, old-fashioned type. Very classy. Service was great and very friendly, and we were made to feel very welcome. It's hard to say enough good things about this place. Sadly, the restaurant was almost empty when we left, well past noon. I hope some readers will get themselves over there for two reasons: First, it's a great place for breakfast; and second, I'd really like to see it stay in business for a long time since it's so near me! read more

We were looking for someplace different for breakfast, and this place had good YELP reviews, so we decided to try it. The reviewers were right! The outside seating was cozy but appropriately distanced. We were met by a friendly server who brought us each a little bowl of fresh fruit. I ordered coffee and they brought it in a lovely cup and saucer, accompanied by a carafe!! As an added special touch, they brought an empty bowl for the used creamer cups. A small gesture, but much appreciated. All this for only $2.50! We ordered the pancake and the Belgian Waffle meals. The eggs were so perfect, just the way I would make them for myself. The pancakes were fluffy, the waffle was perfectly cooked. The bacon was a dream- thick but crispy, and it melts in your mouth. The prices were very reasonable, and the portions were perfect. So many places charge way more for portions that I can't eat in one sitting, so I take leftovers home and forget to eat them. I left here satisfied but not stuffed, and with no regrets. This is a charming little spot that isn't, in the best way, very Orange-Countyish. It's a small spot on the second floor of a building at Muirlands and El Toro, with the signage in the window clearly visible from that intersection. The decor is rather plain, with interesting cloud-painted covers on the fluorescent light panels. One almost gets the impression of home cooking as they disappear into the back to prepare one's order. Food is better than average, and as others have mentioned it is served on real china rather than typical institutional restaurant tableware. The breakfast menu is on the modest side, and meals are less expensive than most breakfast spots. Quantities are decent - not elephantine but you won't walk away still feeling hungry. On my most recent visit, I tried a Belgian waffle combo, coming with two eggs prepared as requested. I added the optional side of bacon. I'd say the waffle was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The three strips of bacon were cooked to a rather well-done state and weren't at all greasy. The coffee was better than most restaurant coffee and was, like the meal, served in real china cups. I had brought a laptop and was able to take advantage of the wifi while I waited for my meal. I walked down the steps quite content. The place deserves to be better-known than it is; this is a nice spot to enjoy breakfast. read more
