Drink and cake so good we drank it before even taking a picture! Super cute vibe for their late nights which is Thurs-Sat 7pm to 2am! They have board games and great music for vibes. Great spot to hang out late at night with high quality drinks and snacks. Gonna need to try their popcorn chicken and fries later

The coffee, tea cakes, muffins, fries mix and dry noodles are so affordable and great! Everyone there is so nice and friendly too. This is my new favorite and go-to place now!

Passing through the area, we saw a relatively new boba/dessert spot, and of course I had to try! We ordered some fries, almond tea cakes, chocolate tea cakes, and a few drinks. Fries: They were so crispy and delicious! It was definitely popular with my kids. Tea cakes: The almond tea cakes weren't too sweet and had a nice texture to it. The chocolate one was really good too, but I thought the original one lets the almond flavor shine more. I never had anything like it before! Jasmine green tea: The jasmine flavor was so floral and strong. I love strong tea flavors, and every sip smelled so nice too! Camellia green tea: Also super refreshing! The tea flavor wasn't as distinct as the jasmine for me because of the mango jellies I added, but I still loved the drink. Latte with cream foam: The cream foam was so soft and creamy. It just melted with every sip of the latte. Service was very friendly and quick. The shop isn't super big, but they had a few tables, and it was quiet and relaxing. They share a small parking lot with a few other businesses, but we didn't have issues finding a spot on a Saturday afternoon. I'll definitely be back for more almond tea cakes and drinks, whenever i'm in the area again!

Came after hours and everything was so fresh!!! The boba was so good and the bundt cake was moist.

Apple Cinnamon Bite. $13 prior to tax for 6

Cafe Sweets is located in the same strip mall as Alex Di Peppe's Italian Restaurant and Laoxi Noodle House, specifically in the corner that is next door to the barber shop. I came by this newly opened eatery on 2 separate occasions, this past Saturday with my mom and yesterday with my husband. Over both visits, we had received very friendly and gracious service by one of the owners, Grace (she remembered me on my second visit). Over the 2 visits we had purchased: Carrot Tea Cakes, $15 prior to tax for 6- Wow these tea cakes are really good. There are nuts, a small amount of raisins, pineapples and shredded carrots in each of these tea cakes. Each cake is dense and very delicious. Grace told us that they also freeze well too. Apple Cinnamon Bite. $13 prior to tax for 6- Another delicious tea cake, inside are nuts and large pieces of apples on top. Almond Tea Cakes, $15 prior to tax for 6- My favorite tea cake, these tea cakes have a nice almond flavor. All of these tea cakes are not too sweet (Asian sweet) and perfect for a snack or a little dessert after your lunch. Chocolate Tea Cake- This was free sample given to us to try. Grace told us this is just like the almond tea cakes but with chocolate chips added and chocolate drizzled on top. Creme Brulee, $3.50 prior to tax- Grace was so kind to give my mom a free one. My mom thought it was good and didn't think it was too sweet, just perfect for her. Double Chocolate Pecan, $2.50 prior to tax- This cookie has a nice cake like softness and is a pretty large size. I didn't have any because my husband took it to work and had said he liked it. Thai Red Rubies, $7.95 prior to tax- This drink is similar to Vietnamese che thai drink with coconut milk and all of those colorful chewy jellies inside. The drink wasn't too sweet and very refreshing. The size is good for 2 to share. Both my husband and I enjoyed this drink. Brown Sugar Boba Milk, $5.95 prior to tax- I ordered this to be made with 25% sweetness and no ice. I thought this drink was find with the sweetness level adjustment and I also found that the boba was nice and soft, but chewy. Milk Tea, $5.95 prior to tax + Pudding $0.50 prior to tax- Both my husband and I ordered this drink to be made with 50% sweetness level and no ice. My husband liked his drink and so did I. I had my drink the next day and thought it was perfectly made. The pudding was good. Birria Ramen, $15.95 prior to tax- Birria tacos or ramen (for the same price) is only available on Wednesdays. Grace had told her that her friend makes the birria. Honestly, the birria was good, it wasn't greasy like other places that I have had birria and the broth base was good. It was a little salty and sour, but I think it went very well with the meat and the ramen noodles. The portion size is perfect for both my husband and I to share. We did share a little for my mom to try since Grace had told us on Saturday to come back to try the birria (so I wanted to make sure my mom got a chance to try it). My mom really liked it (and this was the first time she had birria). ------------------------------------- Please note that currently Cafe Sweets has a grand opening special that you can purchase 2 drinks and get the 3rd drink free (which also includes the Thai Red Rubies if you wish to take advantage of that deal). We had a great experience on both visits (and took our items to go each time) and see myself coming back in the near future. Please note that Cafe Sweet is closed on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Keith Lee come make your presence here!! I found myself a hidden gem! Super delicious, super cute, awesome customer service and so close to home. The main reason I went to cafe sweets was for a bucket of their Thai red ruby (kind of like Vietnamese che). Customer service was so good I ended up getting their daily special dry noodles! Wow!!!! This little noodle bowl was a flavor burst in my mouth. I usually don't eat meatballs or certain meats but I gobbled everything down! I've never had tea cake before and was going to give the samples to my bf. So glad I didn't because the crispy soft chewy texture is unlike anything I've had before. And not too sweet either. My favorite is the apple one. Still need to try their boba drink which I'm sure I'll fall in love with! Come out and support this woman minority owned business!!!

Such a cute place! A good place to study! Many deals in the store, like buy 2 get 1 drinks, free tea cake w $10 (I think) purchase. My best purchase was the red rubies dessert! I love the jellies and especially the red ruby! For the tea cakes, we got the almond and carrot cake. I compare these cakes to like muffin tops, the part everyone likes! Gotta go back and get the other flavor tea cakes, drinks and grab my stuff to study there!

    Kathy L.

This has become our go-to spot for coffee and boba! The sweetness and milk can be tweaked which is great because some drinks can be a bit sweet so the adjustments make them perfect. They currently have a buy 2 get 1 free deal so even more of a reason to come! The tea cakes and Thai dessert is always delicious. Service is always absolutely top notch, drinks are amazing, and the location is small but cozy and cute. Usually not very busy but we've seen it busy on weekends. Parking can get a bit busy sometimes but I've never had an issue.

I came around opening, 10:15am and found parking easily. The girl at the counter was so sweet and mentioned to me they just opened and she's helping her aunt in the back. She told me about the 2 drinks get 1 drink free special and said when the pastries are done, she'll give me a sample. I ordered the matcha foam ice latte, hojicha tea, and matcha milk tea. she asked if i wanted it with no ice so i can save it for later. it was kind of her to ask and the drinks were really good. I also tried the almond pastry and I will definitely come back to get a whole box of it. A lot of little almond pieces for the crunchy feel. the side of the pastry also had a nice edge crispy chewy taste. I'm not a huge fan of hojicha to begin with but this one was pretty good. it's less smokey, which i love.

Mini egg rolls, noodle soup, and a matcha latte
    Krystal H.

Discovered this cute and cozy cafe through a menu flyer that appeared at my front door one day. I've had their food and drinks 3 separate times since then. Everyone has been so lovely and welcoming during the times I've stopped by and ever so patient the times when I've stood by, awkwardly gawking at the menu. Customer service is great in person and even on the phone if you decide to call your order in ahead of time. Their tea cakes are the perfect balance of flavorful without being too sweet, with my favorite flavors being the cinnamon apple and almond ones. Their egg tarts completely hit the spot, especially if you're lucky enough to get a piping hot batch of them. The mini egg rolls have been consistently delicious every single time I've had them and are now my must-have snack from Cafe Sweets. The matcha latte has become my favorite in the area, so it hurts my soul that I have to watch my sugar intake while it's so accessible to me. Overall, solidly great experiences with the staff, food, and drinks. Hope I can continue supporting Cafe Sweets for the foreseeable future.

This place has some items that are amazing and other ones that you can just do without…read more I came here for Dine La for lunch and here's what I felt about their menu. First off, the takoyaki octopus balls were full of flavor. I feel that this place does them really well. You don't feel overwhelmed by any seafood tastes and instead, you get well balanced flavor throughout every bite with the combination of the ball itself, the sauces and the flakes on top. Next is the omurice. The egg is cooked to perfection and tastes absolutely amazing. The curry, however, which was recommended by the waiter over the Demi glaze, tasted exactly like the Vermont curry cube you get in the grocery store, so I'm not sure why he recommended that over the Demi glaze. The fried rice within the omurice was alright too. Originally, I wanted to get the tonkatsu omurice but got it on the side as the choice wasn't available for the lunch menu. I would suggest doing without the tonkatsu because it was dry and there's a million and one places that can do tonkatsu better than this place. Honestly, I wish I had the opportunity to cut the omurice myself and choose how much curry I put on it, but the staff did that instead, which I guess made for a good video, but took away from my innate desires to cut the egg on my own haha. Next, the ramen tasted pretty basic like what you could get at any ramen shop. For the chicken wings, I've never had chicken wings in this flavor. They were really really good and I would definitely recommend the wings. For the desserts, I enjoyed both the matcha and the snow globe. I'm not sure what I enjoyed more, however. The snow globe is a gelatin and it doesn't really have too much flavor until you get to the parts with the flower. Plus the little clear balls have a nice flavor and texture. For the matcha, it has an interesting texture and then an interestingly light, yet deep matcha flavor. Oh the drinks. The Thai tea tastes exactly like how it does everywhere else. The amazing lemonade is a lemonade with a few slight modifications, like with cucumber and maybe some other things as well. For the service, it's pretty good here. Everyone is pretty attentive. There are three things at the table, such as cayenne pepper and two other bowls you can add to your dishes to add flavor. I forgot the name of the one I liked but it looked kind of like pork floss or loose tea, and that one had a lot of flavor. I think what's most appealing about this place is the ambiance because you can like sit in a honeycomb, there's fancy designs everywhere and you feel like you're in a different place. I think it's a good restaurant but it's kind of weird how some things here are amazing and some are just okay.

The restaurant has different chili powders on each table, which I really appreciated since I love spicy food. I do think the broth was quite salty, but maybe that's just how ramen is. The interior of the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. It has plenty of seating, and the restrooms are very clean. Parking is kind of limited, however, so I recommend avoiding peak dinner/lunch hours. Servers were very kind and efficient.

Kinda makes me think, "Is this where all the cool kids go?" said by: definitely not a cool kid me. My gal friend and I always want dessert and believe life is always better with sweets. It was around 9 pm already, and of course, we wanted something sweet to end our day. The plaza on Duarte Rd is pretty dark, but 626 Ice Cream was the bright corner filled with tons of people in line, even at 9 pm. They have their posted in a few spots in the line so customers can check out the flavors. My friend was happy there is something non-dairy for her, which was the Mango Sago flavor. They seem to change up their ice cream flavors every now and then I noticed, which is so fun! It was our first time here, and the man who helped us was very sweet in letting me try all the 6 flavors and pick my favorite. I ended up with their Cereal Ice Cream flavor which tasted like a childhood milk & cereal breakfast, the sweet milk you drink after you finished your cereal. I thought "wow!" This was totally it and I fell in love with it. I also want to mention their Yakult flavor was amazing as well; it's the perfect tartness I love in Yakult drinks and had just a teeny bit of sweetness to it. It's great for those friends you may have in your life who just want a little bit of sweetness. Their toppings are so fun, and I would just go back for their toppings to be honest. I asked the team member to choose my toppings for me, you get 3 toppings if you get the mini cup size. So I got red bean, cacao nibs, and mochi. I would come back to eat this combination over and over again. My friend got a Mango Sago flavor, it's non-dairy, with Mochi and Fruit. She loved it as well and I got to try some of it - it packs a punch in mango flavor and is soooo good with their mochi! There is cozy seating inside, or you can totally be a cool kid and pick up one of those stools outside and sit in the parking lot. So nostaligic almost like a backyard party. Thank you 626 Ice Cream for existing and being in the neighborhood! I'll definitely come support more often!

I appreciated having them take the time to make every person in front of them understand their flavors. I tried every flavor. Mango sago was the most decent to expected flavor. The condensed milk yogurt flavor wasn't right, not what I would expect as it gets muted by the dairy. Blindly I would not think this would be at all condensed milk flavor. The yakult is also muted. Very difficult to achieve without making the base less dairy based, which is exactly opposite of what happened here. The misutgaru honey flavor was a disappointment. As a huge misutgaru enthusiast, the honey and dairy once again overpowered so the nuttiness or roasted flavor didn't come thru. Making it a bit too sweet and dairy forward. The viet coffee flavor was prob on point besides the mango sago but I'm not a coffee dessert person and didn't want the caffeine

They also have great frappes and coffee drinks. They make delicious hot breakfast burritos to order. I will absolutely come back and try their breakfast croissant sandwiches. Make sure to save room for desserts like chocoflan, too! Kiara was my server and she is very courteous and very knowledgeable. The staff is super friendly, and the service is fast. It is the perfect spot for a quick coffee and sweet treats!

We should've waited I guess to view the physical menu. - taste wise iced coffee was good & we ordered another round. - husband said his burrito lacked taste & had to drench it in habanero -my omelette was not good im sorry but they melted 2 of those sandwich square cheese on top of the egg & it tasted gross... aren't you suppose to use shredded cheese on top? Or if not, melt the cheese inside the omelet? - lastly we got dessert, I got a Nutella filled flakey bread and expected the Nutella to be smooth & creamy but it tasted stale and the chocolate was clumpy - the service was excellent, but the food wasn't.
