We both felt like the fried fish, halibut i think, and we got one sandwich and one platter with fries. They served us hefty thick filets, lightly breaded, freshly fried and piping-hot. The halibut was mild-flavored, ready for our favorite sauces and seasoning. I like variety, and had some with salt and pepper, simple and delicious. We had some with genuine Tabasco, which to me is more flavorful than some of the sweeter hot-sauces, though i like those too. I ate it in the old style, which is to sauce the bread. It creates a creamy texture and makes it easy to get just the right amount of heat that I want with each bite. And Willy's served a thick creamy tartar sauce that is very satisfying. The fries were hot and crisped and quite generous. We liked Willy's welcoming staff. They seemed to like the place and the customers, and they seem to know many as regulars. And the customers filled the room with a soothing background of happy chatter. I can't tell you how comfortable it felt. We heard that breakfast fills up early on weekends, so we might not try to bring a large group during those hours. We will definitely be back :-)

We didn't finish the dish and the waitresses didn't offer a take away container, just are you finished so she can take away the dish. I was disappointed in my dining experience. The only person who was friendly was the host. The waitress didn't come to our table right away to take our order and only came to bring is our food. We also didn't ask for the check.
