I've had such a great experience at Club Pilates! The classes are always fun and give you a really good full-body workout without feeling overwhelming. I especially love Ruben's Center and Balance class--it's one of my favorites. It really helps with stability and control while still being a great workout. I was here for over a year and would say I did enjoy the teachers here! Some had their own style and pace for sure but each class was unique and fun! Let's start with the positives: the place and machines were clean, the class had an overall friendly atmosphere, and the workout was the perfect balance of challenging yet doable. Now for the not-so-positives. The staff was not helpful, in both instructor and front desk aspects. It was my first time and nobody explained to me how the studio worked, or how the machines function. The instructor was friendly but almost too friendly where I heard her sharing her life story to other participants. It didn't seem very professional to me. I also wish she did more form corrections (she only corrected my form once or twice). It overall did not feel welcoming and yet a little too personal for me. She took time to walk me through the reformer, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable before class began. I have been a Club Pilates member for 1.5 years. I originally started at the Fullerton location and moved to Diamond Bar when they opened because I live nearby. I even recommended this studio to three of my friends who joined because of my referral. Looking back, I sincerely regret making those recommendations because the management has become so unprofessional and dismissive of loyal members. The blatant double standards at this location are unacceptable. On multiple weekend mornings, I have driven to the studio only to be told at the door that the instructor called out and class was canceled. There was zero prior notification and it was a complete waste of my time and gas. The studio's only compensation for their failure is returning the class credit I already paid for. However, the management is extremely rigid when it comes to members. Recently, I made a one-time mistake of forgetting my grip socks. I rushed home to get them and arrived just a minute past the 5-minute grace period. Despite my 18-month history as a loyal student, the manager was cold and insisted that rules are rules. I was barred from entry and lost my class credit which costs over $30. It is insulting that the studio expects members to be perfect while they frequently fail to meet their own standards of punctuality and reliability. Regarding the instruction, the turnover rate is high and many great teachers have left. It is hard to get used to an instructor's style before they are replaced. While a few good instructors remain, the overall teaching quality feels much less professional than before. Some classes have become repetitive and instructors often seem less engaged in correcting form or fixing movements. Some even start classes several minutes late while socializing, yet members are punished for a single minute of delay. It is disheartening to see the quality decline at a studio I have supported since day one. I can no longer recommend this location until management starts prioritizing professional communication and shows respect for their members' time and loyalty. read more

I went in to get some information about the pilates classes on 8/6 around 5pm, and then I took an intro class on 8/10 at 11am with Wendy. I really liked it and decided to purchase the 8 class package. There is a requirement for 3 months of class, but you don't have to pay the whole 3 months on the first day. They had a discount on the one-time activation fee (from $149 to $49) and a 20% off the 8 class package. My first worry was also that I wouldn't be able to get classes because most of them were booked. However, I talked to the staff, who assured me that I would be able to get into classes because they have some filler spots to make sure that new members are able to get into classes. I waited about a few days and I was off the waitlist! I go to pilates every Monday and Saturday, and I still really enjoy it. I have only done classes with Wendy, and I really love her as my instructor. She is always quick to readjust me and fix my posture. She also explains everything in detail very clearly. The place is super clean and there is no problem with parking since it is in the H-Mart plaza. read more

Instructors and the faculty/equipments are fine. The negative review is on the management. I went to the soft opening at the end of April. Signed up for the unlimited package because I wanted to be able to go here and also to the West Covina location as it's closer to work. On the day of soft opening (Sunday), I was told that I would be able to include the West Covina location on Monday. As a result, I signed up for 3 months of unlimited as they gave 20% off. Monday came and was unable to sign up for the West Covina location. Days went by, kept asking them, and they eventually told me I couldn't sign up for other locations until their grand opening which was in JUNE!! One plus month later from what I was told. I felt deceived and it was a false advertisement. Both Diamond Bar and West Covina locations are busy so it's def hard to get into enough classes to make the unlimited plan worth it. I decided not to continue after 3 months of unlimited membership. Also, the contract is supposed to end the day before 7/29 (they billed me 5/29, 6/29). And today I got a text that my 7/28 class would be canceled becuz they set the cancelation day one day before billing cycle. WTH is this?!? Anyway deceiving management and advertisement. Be aware. I attended a trial class at the Diamond Bar location 2 months ago led by Wendy and I immediately drawn to Pilates, prompting me to purchase unlimited monthly package. I enjoy training with Janet, Anastasia and Wendy. The receptionists constantly demonstrate a friendly demeanor, and the facility maintains a high standard of cleanliness. I'm very new to the world of Pilates. I know everyone have different experiences. I hope people give it a try. So far i have taken classes from Maura, Anika, Valinda and Anastacia. All were amazing, all instructors are attentive to asisst you in modifying the routine based on your body flexibility and capabilities. TBH it is very intimidating the idea of doing pilates with no experience but once you take that intro class and first class it goes well from there, also the attentive instructors its a huge plus. I did it for posture and core primarily and just for my overall wellbeing with my work its a good balance to keep me centered and taking care of my physical well being. Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction is big thing for me. A few key points I will touch on. Location: Easy to find, great area, plenty of parking. Facility: I've been to many Pilates studios including other Club Pilates studios and this is by far the smallest one I've seen. So narrow and tight. No Private room for private sessions. There's been a couple of times when there was a bug on the floor and/or dust, as if it wasn't clean. So small that when there's chatter at the front desk (ie potential clients), we can hear them and it's very distracting. Sound system, instructors are always having a difficult time with this one, their phones stay in the same area but the sound system/bluetooth always has an issue/cuts off etc. Owner/Manager needs to fix this, it's been ongoing and it's very disruptive. Equipment: Reformer basic, but a lot of the times the need to be adjusted. One of the ballet bar was loose and they still allowed the student to use it (safety issue). Weights, it's only been 1.5 yr and they are already peeling off. Always mixed with different weights. No Private class equipments. Staff/Manager needs to be mindful with their equipments. If the dumbbells a peeling off, fix it. Front Desk: Always nice and courteous when checking in clients and giving information. There's one who sometimes gives attitude when she's in a bad mood, but she's usually fine- nothing that would make my rating lower for the front desk stop. They are always fresh are to talk to. Instructor For the most part, they are excellent. It's all based on your preference. I have my favorite and then there are ones who I would not take their class unless there nobody else I can take. A lot of subs recently and those ones are also +/- . A couple of my favorites left, too bad they didn't let us know via email or something. Replacements still fairly new, some love to talk. Classes: They have a good variety. Quality of classes are really based on the instructors. Not enough variety with the evening classes...the are all reformer flow, no evening control or cardio sculpt. Management: They are very strict and policy driven rather than actual customer service. Management does not bend over to accommodate clients because "it's the policy." Other studios have accommodated clients as part of their customer service - even bending a little bit with their policies. But not in this studio. They have Pilates class etiquettes but they actually do not enforce this in the studio. When I got my class attended, I received and email stating to come to the front desk and pick up a shirt- I did this and they said it was an automatic email and that they don't do it in this studio. Customer Appreciation- a bit lacking. If you go to other Club Pilates studios, they actually acknowledge their clients with the board on the wall "100 class, 250 class, 500 class" and they give a shirt or grip socks- but that's not practiced here. They social media post are all generic, nothing that makes the studio standout. Overall It's the instructors and front desk staff that got it to even . If it weren't for them, I would give . This studio is new and has a lot of things that they need to work on and hopefully would actually look into customer service and satisfaction. read more

I had to cancel my membership this month due to distance and availability of classes that suit my schedule. I was told that I had until end of January to use up all my credits. But lo and behold, they kicked me out of tonight's class even though they confirmed it via email. When I called, the gal said my next billing would have started on 1/30, and they had to cancel one day prior. Huh?? Does this make sense? Poor poor management. To any one wanting to sign up, make sure you verify everything you read on the contract. Take names and dates in case an issue comes up. If you are very new to joining pilates, this location is absolutely amazing. It's clean and the parking is always a plus. There's plenty of it so you won't have to struggle. Hmart is also next door if you need to do some grocery shopping. I can't emphasize this enough but ladies, before coming in for a session, make sure to purchase grip socks. You can purchase grip socks at their pilates location OR you can purchase it on Amazon. They sell it there for a bundle. It is a safety issue not to have one and chances are, you can't do the class without them. Let's start with the staff. Isabel, one of their receptionist answered my phone call when I inquired for the very first time from a different location but she was also working for this location. She was very thorough, kind, and one of the reasons why I decided to also set my decision on doing pilates the unlimited version. Absolutely a girls girl. We appreciate instructors who check in and ask if anyone has any medical concerns. I've attempted to go to a different location and have seen one who don't ask. By the end of the day, it is nice to know that your instructor cares about each ones well being. Returning from going through a heart procedure beginning of this year after years of not working out. I absolutely appreciated that gesture. Wendy hands down is the absolute sweetest and my favorite instructors. I've tried intro class and just knew that she was going to be 1 of the permanent instructors that I would have within my rotation. She motivates you to absolutely push yourself harder in sessions without her actually asking you and she corrects your form if she knows that you're a beginner. If you're looking for sessions where you feel like you're shaking and burning, this is it! Janet is also another favorite instructors of mine. She is such an amazing instructor. Just like Wendy, she also asks if anyone has health concerns and navigates through class where she really makes sure your form is okay or asks if anything has to be readjusted within sessions to let her know and she'd assist. She is one of the reasons why I felt that my posture have gotten better overtime. Janet overall has an amazing energy and class sessions are a killer (but in a good way. you know you're getting a workout in when you have her class). Valinda is another favorite of mine. It's hard to find good instructors but I guarantee you, you are in amazing hands with her as well. I am listing whom I've had as an instructor where I felt very safe and accepted. Her sessions are great as well. We love ourselves an instructor with positive energy, observant, encouraging, and overall, who paces within sessions where it works for everyone. You won't feel rushed at all. The 3 instructors I've personally had within the pilates rotation, I highly recommend them because they're very attentive and so professional at what they teach. If you try out other gyms, it's a bit more intense as they've been open for quite some time. I highly encourage this location if you're absolutely new with pilates. They really reassure that your posture is great and you're pacing yourself as you go where it works for you. There's no progress in rushing workouts if your form isn't correct. The gym is also cleaned each session. I appreciate that they let us clean what we use as we should. A clean environment is everything when deciding where you want to stay long term. I know this is a bit lengthy but obviously, if you do sign up, don't be discouraged about the waitlist. I've had myself in wait-list 3/4 of the time and have gotten to each class. If you're going for a few sessions and want to ease your way up, that's great. You're only able to go to your current location. However, the unlimited pass is also great as it does give you a way to go to different gyms if lets say you miss your original earlier sessions or you have one closer from work/home. The fees are very straightforward as well. They won't charge you a $20 fee if you actually just cancel 12 hours before class time. I know life is unpredictable, but try your best. This studio is very clean and nice. I haven't had any staff issues. Most of them greet me with smiles and say hi to me with my name. I feel welcomed every time I go there. There's plenty of parking and it's close to so many things. This is my first Pilates studio so I don't know about other studios but I feel like instructors do care here. They do ask you if they can adjust you and if you say yes, they will make sure you have a good form. I was a little skeptical in the beginning because I didn't feel like it was enough workout for me. After working out here for 2-3 months, I understand forms and different muscles so I do get sore, sweat and struggle. I feel much stronger now and getting toned is a plus. If you want to try Pilates, I will give it a shot but please do not stop after couple classes. The more you take classes the harder and better it gets. I highly recommend this studio!! read more

After my experience, all I have to say is there are much better options than Club Pilates. The policy is too strict and does not have the club member 's best interest taken into account. The major issue is the attendance policy- at the end of the day you 100% pay for the amount of classes you buy; however, if you do not show up in the 5 minute grace period- they give your spot away and take a class away from you the following month (it doesn't matter if you were stuck in traffic, had to stay overtime at work, etc etc). This is too harsh. The new place I go to charges $15 if you do not show up to class... that's it. No underlying conditions and pretty fair if you don't cancel 12 hours in advance. I'm much happier where I'm at. I won't shoutout the new pilates company on this page but, I encourage any newcomers to pilates to due extensive research before choosing which company to dedicate yourselves to. I've had a good experience with this studio from signing up to taking the classes. All of the instructors I have had an opportunity to take classes with are very nice and professional. The location is clean inside and all the equipment is sanitized/cleaned between use of the different classes! Taking off a star because the front area is super tiny and awkwardly set up, and often times you are bumping into people because the front waiting area/cubbies is soooo so small.
