I am new to Arizona and a previous member of Club Pilates. I wanted to try a CP class in Arizona and the one on Lake Pleasant is the closest. The lady who helped me schedule my 1st class was very accommodating. I thought maybe she was the owner because she cared so much about me. She was not the owner. lol When I arrived to my 1st class there was that same - nice lady... (maybe Sydney ??? I am sorry I don't remember her name) waiting for me to arrive! I felt like she was expecting me! Again, she made sure I was comfortable signing in, etc. My class had a sub instructor named Debbie. She was an excellent teacher. I really enjoyed my class and I'll be back again even tho' it's a 20-30 mins drive. I highly recommend you try a class if you want to learn Pilates! read more

I highly recommend Club Pilates Lake Pleasant for all ages. I attended a free class to see what this was all about and immediately signed up for a membership. They have different tiers available depending on each persons needs. After 2 months I changed my membership to unlimited and have enjoyed all the classes I have attended both morning and night. The instructors guide you and each person goes at their own pace depending on injuries or not. I am much stronger and mentally in a better place for signing up here. read more

In full disclosure I have visited Club Pilates once and have taken two classes. It was my first time using a reformer and the instructor was fantastic about breaking exercises down and offering corrections. My sister is a member at this location and that is how I learned about the classes. The studio is very welcoming and encouraging to new students. The facility was so clean and all students were very respectful with cleaning the equipment after each class. Ok. So I planned to do a trial class to sign up for my fitness regimen. I was told to arrive 1230 for my class, unfortunately the high school nearby got . out at 12:20 and I was behind about 18 buses. That making me a few minutes late. The person running the salon immediately told me that it's too late for me to enter the class, but they could. Possibly get me in next Wednesday. Not gosh I'm sorry. Oh that's unfortunate that you got stuck behind all those buses in that traffic, ... actually, I found her extremely rude and lacking any compassion whatsoever. I didn't even have an opportunity to explain, at 12:30 for they were already too far in The intro class to let anybody else in....... YOWSER!!!! you must have a very very large Membership there. I joined Club Pilates for a three month special. No one ever showed me how to use the equipment correctly. I was having knee issues and after two classes I was in severe pain. Ended up putting membership on hold several times. I had knee surgery in September, 2021 and sent manager pictures. In February of this year my orthopedic surgeon told me he didn't recommend I continue so I canceled. I was told I didn't cancel in the right amount of time. They kept my $326.75 and refused to refund my money because I didn't follow the contract correctly! TOTAL RIP OFF! read more

I was ready to get back to Pikates after about a year away. The Lake Pleasant location was so welcoming and friendly and offered to extend the 1/2 off initiation fee for me even though it had take. Me a week to decide. They've checked up on me to make sure I was enjoying the classes and getting what I needed from the work outs. I'm so glad I joined! read more

As far as the exercise Pilates goes, it's a great low impact workout that is especially great if u have an injury that u are recovering from. However, Club Pilates SUCKS!!! Their manager sucks (doesn't return calls), the weekend instructors suck (same workout EVERY WEEKEND) and they nickel and dime you for everything! When you have the weekends off you would expect the instructors to be the best, but they always have a mother/daughter duo that do the same thing with minimal variation. I would probably keep my membership if the weekend workouts were better, but I'd rather pay for a Lifetime membership and pay a premium for their class instead. Too expensive for boring workouts. read more

Seems this location is in need of more classes as they sign up new members and consequently more classes need to be added to accommodate all who join. It's very easy on the joints and in the beginning of class the instructors always ask if there's anything they need to know. Worst experience. How unfortunate. Was so looking forward to a new, high caliber studio and was treated horrible. The instructor was not only rude but had no idea what was going on. The ap wouldn't let me purchase a spot so I required assistance at facility. After that the instructor was so rude and passive aggressive. Was told I needed socks and I obliged (even when she stated "I don't know" on cost of socks I was purchasing). I'm familiar with sled work and Pilates and the class was so slow and poorly ran. Lots of long pauses for instructor to figure out next move. Very low intensity so it's very good for the older population in this area. No instruction on how to amplify workout. And oh my it was the shear lack of excitement to have new clients or enthusiasm for class itself. How unfortunate was really looking forward to a good Pilates studio instead they overcharged me for my first class and treated me like crap! Being a nurse they have classes that would have worked with my schedule but there is no way I'm spending hard earned money on people who don't even want me there. read more
