Way too expensive for mediocre fast food. Not worth the drive to get there. Doesn't stand out against the rest.

A new location and a new look. Off The Wall Sandwich is a sparkling clean and colorful restaurant…read more With vibrant wall art, and striking lighting, the interior has an energetic vibe. This is a busy spot for classic American favorites: burgers, sandwiches and wings. From my previous experience, I knew it's worth checking the menu beforehand. For someone who is trying to make healthier choices, but not salad, this might be a good idea. I remember the last time I had the Classic Grilled Cheese Melt. This time, to avoid beef, bacon, or fried chicken, I decided to substitute a burger with grilled chicken breast for an additional $1. The Frenchie was my choice. I asked for the included Bison dip on the side and added Grilled Cremini Mushrooms for another $1. I simply couldn't find any ready-made combinations that suited my taste. All the burgers, melts and sandwiches come with your choice of fries or tater tots. We waited longer than expected for our food. The restaurant started filling up after we arrived. There were a lot of takeout orders while the dinner rush was starting. They should have a parallel system in the kitchen to keep the dining room moving at its own pace. Anyway, my sandwich was good. The chicken was perfectly grilled. The mushrooms and onions were flavorful, and the provolone cheese was melted and delicious. It's good that I asked to have the Bison dip on the side. We enjoyed the mountain of fries and onion rings (we really liked the breading on the onion rings). The Mac and Cheese was basic, but classic and very tasty. Unfortunately, our feedback on the Steak Hoagie was not so good. It wasn't as expected - a juicy, Buffalo-style, meat and cheese sub. My partner said that too much spice rub made the sandwich salty and dry. It wasn't the experience of dripping, shaved steak covered with lots of melted cheese, grilled peppers and onions. There was none of it. It was dry, smallish and disappointing. Our server Kimora took good care of us. She was smiling, and made our stay very pleasant.

We went with the Uncle Papi, which can only be described as pizza and a fried chicken sandwich having a beautiful, messy love child. The chicken filet was impressively large, and the Sunday sauce? So good it would absolutely earn a seal of approval from my Italian grandma. The fries were plentiful, and while I regret not testing one of their fun dipping sauces, the house-made blue cheese did not disappoint. We also ordered the Messy Pressy (aka the poutine burger), and it lived up to its name in the best possible way. Delicious, indulgent, and led to a nap on the ride home. Already looking forward to coming back--and possibly making it a personal goal to work my way through every burger and sandwich on the menu. Those brunch burgs are calling my name, and I'm not ignoring them.

We attempted to figure out if they had sweet and low for the iced tea, the cashier girl told me to check with the bar!? Nope. Bathroom was also pretty dirty as well.

She needed a place to eat and as I was looking at her location I seen this wasn't too far off from interstate 90 where she was. Read her the menu options and she wanted mac n cheese. I called it in and explained that she's handicapped and I am ordering this for her. They were super accommodating and even brought the food out to her when ready. I surprised her with pretzel bites which she enjoyed. Her only real complaint was no utensils came in her bag so she had to wait to eat the mac. I had some when she finally came home, we reheated it the next day. I thought it was ok. I enjoyed toasting the pretzels in the toaster more. I'm sure a good dine in spot with a vibe but.

We met up with some friends about 6pm, it was pretty busy, but it's usually like post work people at the bar enjoying and camaraderie. We sat in the covered patio area, after grabbing some menus from the bar. For those new to this, you order your food at the bar if you're not eating right at the bar. The folks here that work are super kind, and I see the same two every time I come in so it's pretty consistent. The four of us ordered some drinks, burgers and a specialty flavored basket of wings. It came out pretty quickly for how busy it was. We all demolished our food, and spent a good two hours there just chatting and catching up. I'm a creature of habit and got the black and blue burger with fries. I also got the cider. My boyfriend got the prohibition signature burger with tots, and the seasonal Pumpking beer. We got the chili garlic wings and those were solid. Drowned in sauce and crispy. Our friends got the Bern burger with tots and the prohibition signature turkey burger with onion rings. They got a beer and a Cabernet respectively. I really enjoyed my cider and they enjoyed their drinks. The burgers were on point as always, and I enjoy my fries with vinegar and ketchup. Onion rings and tots were nice and crispy without being greasy. No complaints at all here. Will be back soon.

Walking in that rustic outdoor theme continues, as we made our way to the bar side. We pulled up to a table in the wide open area to celebrate my birthday with a light lunch but the overly loud music made conversation a "outdoor voice" affair as we could barely hear each other from 2 ft away. Our waiter came and got our drinks moving rather quickly and he was the brightest spot during the entire meal. Aside from the side door by the table constantly being opened letting the sun in and with it a nice rush of cold air. I seriously didn't think that door would be opened that frequently... The little yelper got her usual tenders , which were good as she ate them all. The misses got the nacho platter which as it was described was a bit "bland" in the flavor department but "ok". We had a guest join us who ordered the burger and fries, /flat iron. This must have been the best thing on the menu. As there were no leftovers to be taken I ordered the wings Buffalo bleu. Specified crispy and well... they definitely didn't deliver. They were seemingly cooked to the "good enough " standard and were soggy by the time they hit the table.I know from now on to skip that sauce as it was a really odd in the flavor department. Hot sauce and bleu cheese belong together, but there's something odd about this mix that doesn't work. The carrots and celery must have been old as well as they had that sitting in the fridge overnight taste and sog crunch. The bleu cheese, was decent though. I definitely would skip the wings, or at least advise you go to the Lockport location where Ive had much better experiences. Next time I'll just make the trip north.
