Took my son the get a cheesesteak and to try their portobello sub. They were completely out of mushrooms. Disappointed but it happens. So we just ordered the cheesesteak, which took 25 minutes. I was introduced to The Hoagie Stop by my school-age kids because the owner visited their school. My kids were so excited by the owner's story, I was excited by delicious food... I can't tell you how many times I've passed by this place. Then, one day, I decided to stop. It's a nice clean place, and everyone was very helpful in helping me navigate through the menu. Wow food is so good. We went in to place order to go. Had to wait a bit BUT it was worth it. I only ate 1/2 my #2 clinton. I ordered a combo and it came with fresh cut fries...my favorite. By far the most flavorful steak hoagie I've ever had. Ordered and ate in. There are tables and big TV. Hoagie came out fast and piping hot. Fresh cut fries were amazing. I had concerns about how this would travel if I got takeout but everything would be perfectly fine. Sub was wrapped beautifully. Bummer they don't have a chicken finger sub considering they make stingers but that's a minor gripe. And I could've easily eaten a 12" vs 8" given the price. I shall be back! read more

One of the best steak hoagie places in Buffalo. I love the buy one get one hoagie for free on uber Eats. They Don't be stingy with the meat. My only issue is the wait. I ordered and paid online they gave me a pickup time for 5:45pm. I even got there around 6ish just to give them enough time my food wasn't ready ok that's cool cause it's a restaurant but what I did have a problem with is that a few ppl came in and ordered and they got their food before me.
