This former bolsa auto parts has been around since forever. My father used to order parts here all the time before he retired his auto mechanic shop. Even today, I was able to come in and talk to the owner buying an expensive part for a great deal for my Acura TSX to fix my check engine light. You should definitely speak to the owner here as I saw her juggling 2 phones while speaking in many languages (English, Vietnamese, Spanish). However she can multi-task and still cater to me, helping me to order a part that fits my car perfectly. It is located in the plaza and there are ample of parking spaces. This store has been a lifesaver for my car and it seems that the owner has a lot of spaces and inventory to store a lot of parts. Most parts when ordered, will come within 2 days. I am glad I made the long drive from Huntington Beach just to this location solely due to the convenience and value. Yes, it is just that good.

They have the part, but it's priced higher. He checks with the other guy who quoted me the price, but that guy doesn't remember telling me original quote. They give me a discount, but it's still higher than what was said on phone. So you guys determine for me, whether they're purposefully doing a bait and switch and wasted my time. Or they're senile and can't remember anything. Either way, they need to all retire and shut down the business because it's just terrible all around.

He has installed windshield wipers for me, the piece that opens & closes my center console which I broke on accident, my car door handle on my passenger side, replaced my various car fluids, provided answers to questions that some mechanics won't even give a proper answer to, and has directed me to specialty shops for whatever I may have needed things to get done (i.e. alignment place, brakes place, timing belt/water pump place, etc.). The cost for my 2005 Honda Civic passenger door handle was over $200 for a 100% authentic part, so of course, doing his due diligence, he had to make sure the thing was really broken before he charged me the ridiculous price for the part. It was definitely broken, so he took apart my passenger door not just once, but twice to install the new door handle. Talk about 5 Stars customer service! I purchased BMC performance air filters for my new Nissan Z here. I picked them up when they were…read moreready. When I tried to install them, they did not seem to fit correctly. I emailed them and got a response the next business day. After a couple of emails, they were willing to give me a refund. When I went back to get that done, I spoke to the owner, who asked if I'd mind letting him see the issue. I had no problem. The new filters were clearly of higher quality then the ones that came with the car. They also were made withy higher quality materials. That seemed to be the issue. The old filters fit very loosely into the air filter housing and the new ones did not fit easily. After a few minutes and some pictures, the owner discovered that the filters do fit, they are just far more snug. He as willing to give me the refund or have someone trim the filters. After they fit, neither was necessary. They'll work fine. I really appreciated how willing EDO was to deal with the issues I had, including giving me a refund, which I ended up not wanting. I already saw that they have a great selection of high end car lubricants and I will be back here to have them do the oil changes on the car. I came in to buy air filters and I left wanting to be a returning customer.

dont even bother, as they are all either rude or just incompetent…read more oh, where to start. let's see...i brought my bosche battery here because my car wasnt starting and the battery was totally drained from trying to start it. I figured if nothing else I could at least test battery to make sure the batteries battery wasn't the cause of my issues. I'd see a commercial about how their experts would be happy to test a battery and stuff anytime. Well, needless to say, I went in there, and the person working in the counter, looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language when I asked if they could test my battery to make sure that it wasn't my battery that was dead and then it was something else and so he goes and get some tester and reports back how there's no charge and I'm like "yeah I know that, but is it able to hold a charge?" and he looks at me with a dumb stare like again I'm speaking a foreign language. Regardless, I end up basically donating my boesch batteries and buying one of their batteries off the shelf there. Why do I say donating? Because of course I get home put the battery in and it still is not starting so it's not the battery that's bad since I have a brand new one of theirs that I really didn't want instead of my OEM boesch battery. Fast-forward to three years and I start having more issues with my car not starting so again I'm trying to rule out the battery as this battery doesn't seem to be holding a charge after only three years. Once again, I end up replacing the battery with a brand new one only to find out that it still isn't starting so it probably wasn't the battery but whatever now I have another brand new battery that I don't really want. Here's where it's good, I go to get the core deposit back for the original battery of theirs that I bought that I didn't want and I was faced with nothing but rude and just unimaginable horrible customer service from who is the manager working in the story at the time. From the moment I walk in there and they hear that I want a court deposit. I am met with nothing but attempts of trying to deem me in eligible to get a court deposit. "Well it's gotta be done in 90 days..." is the kind of stuff I hear from the manager. Here's the best part, is I originally had purchased the first battery myself and put it on one of my credit cards, the second battery I was in a bind and my father in attempts of helping me out quick had me put it on his card so I didn't have to worry about it because I was in a hard place financially at the time. Oh boy did this just completely mess everything up because I didn't have my original receipt for the battery from 3 1/2 years ago and apparently they were unable to look it up in their computer. OK it just happens. I have my laptop on me as my phone was dead.... do they have Wi-Fi I can quick hop on in search out this receipt so that we can get this $20 or whatever it is refunded to me? No, of course not. So I have to go out and basically Ward drive to find a Wi-Fi signal in the area businesses surrounding the store so I can finally get on a free Wi-Fi and searching my email for the receipt for the original battery. 15 minutes later I finally get it all tracked down and go back into the store and once again just rude attitude while I go and track down the receipt for this thing. So what is the manager finally do he finally gives me the court deposit back but he refund it to my dad's credit card why the hell would you do that when it was on the original battery that I purchased on my credit card that makes absolutely no sense and even more so he could not even ask me if that was the preferred method of receiving this deposit back he just took it upon himself to do it without asking. And then when I questioned him in doing so he looked at me and snapped at me like I was some idiot, and it was a ridiculous question to ask. Never again will I set foot anywhere near the store as they're just incompetent rude and I'm still pissed that I gave them even a dollar of my money in the past.

I came in for some transmission fluid and PJ in particular helped me determine the problem wasn't necessarily the transmission fluid.... It was more likely the Solenoids that were dirty cause my girlfriend drives like a crazy person everyday, all the time. PJ recommended Mass Air Flow Sensor Cleaner and it worked great cleaning up my girlfriend's Solenoids. Unfortunately PJ didn't have any advice on how I could get my girlfriend to stop driving like a bat out of hell but I'll still give him 5 stars cause he likely saved me hundreds if not thousands of dollars taking it to a mechanic. I got a jump from a co-worker and drove straight to Pep Boys. This place was next door. I walked in and was greeted by a very friendly, knowledgeable, and nice guy named PJ. He had me pull up and tested my battery for free. Turns out it was bad. So I bought a new one from him and he installed it on the spot. Could not have asked for an easier, friendlier, or more hassle free experience. PJ is great at what he does and made me feel well taken care of. I will definitely come back. This place is great.
