What follows are a few words about the best car salesperson I have ever encountered. Over my lifetime I must have bought a total of 45 cars, both new and used. Simona Holloway has been my go-to salesperson for at least 10 of those vehicles. My process of buying a car is deliberate; I have never felt rushed when dealing with Simona. Simona is the consummate professional; she knows her craft and has the polite personality all salespeople should have. She listens carefully to me when I describe the vehicle I wish to buy. Sometimes this is in person and often via email. She knows I do not play games so I tell her what I want and what I expect to pay. As an example, the last vehicle I bought from her almost did not happen. I told her I wanted a 2 or 3-year old SUV, preferably a GMC. Because the last in person discussion we had had was about a Cadillac Sedan, she did not tell me about a 2-year old Denali XLT because she was sure it was too large. I happened to drive by one day and when I saw it, it was love at first sight. We negotiated for several hours until the price for the SUV was acceptable to me (I had done my research on the Internet). Afterwards she shepherded the deal through her dealership including all the paperwork and in less than an hour. I drove away at the end of the day in my almost new vehicle a happy camper. I contacted Colonial by email in regards to a vehicle and they were prompt with their response back to me. I love that people are on top of their job and want to do business. The young lady I was working with was named Maggie and she was great. I laid out everything to her of what I needed financially and what I expected out of a vehicle. I think being upfront about all the details is the best way to be. After looking over all the options she had for me I was able to narrow down to a new Nissan Rogue SV that I am in love with. The car buying experience lots of people dread this process but I didn't feel overwhelmed at all I was at easy and if I needed anything they were very accommodating. I have previously bought my husband truck there as well and just love the working relationship with them. I am 65 years old and although ive owned a few cars, I've never bought a car from a dealership. My granddaughter was in need of a car and it was nearing her birthday, so I decided to look around just to see if I could help her out. I wasn't sure because I've had credit issues before. I went to colonial auto and spoke with Ms. Holloway, she took the time to explore my options and walked me through what was going to happen. When to my surprise I was approved and she then went above and beyond to walk me around the lot to show me what was available to me. She made everything such a breeze and when she called to let m know that something had a recall on the vehicle and they were taking care of it and offered to loan us a vehicle until ours was ready I felt they really care about their customers. I bought a 2022 Nissan Leaf S plus from Colonial Nissan on 24 March 2022. Robert Tucker was the salesman that handled the transactions. He was very professional, polite, and made me feel like I was his best and only customer. But the one thing that set him apart from alot of car salesmen that I have had experienced in the last 6 years was his knowledge of his product and other similar products. I have purchased a used 2013 leaf, 2013 Tesla and now a 2022 Leaf so I have had alot of experience with EVs. He was the most knowledgeable person I have come across in my 6 years of owning an EV. The car was in Charlottesville, Virginia and the car was brought to my home in Aldie, Virginia.
