I scheduled an estimate appointment at my house a week in advance during my lunch break from 12-1pm and nobody ever came by. They didn't even give me a courtesy call to let me know they were running late or had to reschedule. Very disappointed, seems no respect for customer's time; or poor time management. Sam from CMS plumbing came out and did a gas line install. The installation process went quickly, despite some challenges, and the end result was a very clean/neat install. Leakless, too, as Sam thoroughly checked every connection, including pre-existing connections that may have been impacted by the install. I called CMS plumbing to investigate a possible leak under my home. When a faucet or the shower is opened dripping could be heard from pipes under the house. I also had CMS replace a dripping faucet in the kitchen. The faucet in the kitchen was replaced with a new one so the dripping is fixed but the screws holding the knobs constantly come loose. The leak under the house was not fixed. On the first visit the plumber suspected it was a loose pipe and tied down what he suspected was the correct pipe. The noise seemed to go away. I was charted over $500. The noise returned the next day. I called again to have CMS try to find the issue. The plumber went into the crawlspace but did not find anything. I was again charged for his time another $250 which I argued was not fair given the original problem had not been fixed. The manager reduced the bill to $200 which was the "best he could do". I still have a leak in the house and I don't feel it is right to have someone just come and charge you for their time regardless of outcome. Will likely not use CMS again. read more

Well, I've never reviewed a plumbing service but felt it necessary. Saw great service from Big JAKE at CMS Plumbing. With Covid, I've had my children who live in cities stay at my house pretty frequently. Obviously the plumbing has gotten a lot of activity over the last 4 1/2 months. I've had to call CMS twice in the last month to fix over hot water heaters and clogged pipes overflowing toilets. Both times we needed a fix quickly. CMS responded quickly and resolved the problems quickly. Just today, Jake from CMS showed up, assessed the situation, climbed on our roof with a massive snaking tool and cleared the pipes. It was 100 degrees and sun bearing down. Jake was sweating and smiling but got it done and saved the day with 2 toilets being backed up and 5 people in the house. Did it all within 90 minutes. Had some plumbing problems at my place, so called CMS to set up an appointment. Spoke to the receptionist, told her the problem, and she said she would call me back shortly with available time windows. Sure enough, she called me back within 10 minutes with a morning 10am-12pm window or a later afternoon window. I chose the morning window. Now we all know when plumbers, cable repairmen, or any kind of service gives you a window; there's a good chance it'll be at the end or late, so I was very surprised when I heard a knock on the door at 10:03. Gentleman came in, I showed him the problem areas, and he was able to get to work right away. Took him no time at all to finish the job and wrote me out the invoice that was very reasonable. Will definitely use CMS again for future plumbing needs and will recommend to friends. read more

Sam was friendly and courteous and most of all efficient. CMS put me at the top of the list since I said I was having guests over and my toilet wouldn't flush. (eeeuww!!) They were cordial and helpful over the phone and set up an appointment that was good for us for the next day. They called in the middle of the next morning and asked if they could come earlier. Well, twist my arm! Sure! Jeremiah came, we talked about the charges. He was engaging, informative and knowledgeable. He took excellent care of our problem and charged us exactly what he said he would. No hidden fees or costs. A good job, for a good price, by good people. CMS was highly recommended by my wife's patient. I checked out their website and got the feeling that these were 'good guys'. And that's exactly what they turned out to be. I had them come for two different jobs in April and May. First job was to replace kitchen faucet, replace two bathroom sinks and faucets, and replace shower/tub trim kit. It took all day but it was a lot of work for one guy (Perry) to do. He was courteous, did a great job, and cleaned up afterwards. Second job was to fix an issue with the hot water pressure in my shower stall. Mark came out and couldn't get to the shower valve to figure out what was going on. He was being extra careful not to break anything, so I appreciate that he didn't force it. So they didn't charge me for the visit, and scheduled the owner and their top technician to come out later in the week. Was impressed that the owner actually came out with their top guy and fixed the problem. They were in and out of my place within 45 minutes. Honestly, these guys are nothing short of amazing! Being in the property management business for what seems like a lifetime, we really depend on our vendors. Plumbing is our number one nemesis. Hidden charges - stay away Got them to fix the main drain clog. The owner quoted $150 per hour on phone, the guy who came to do the work was actually pretty decent and got the job done in 10 min, but alas their minimum charge is of 1 hour, so had to pay that. So, they charged $156 for the 10 min job. Now the real surprise come up when they invoice me for an addition ~$50 for some hidden charges - $5 for gloves (really? - why did they not tell me about this earlier - I could give them extra pair of disposable gloves) $10 for travel (wow so $156 for 10 mins does not cover travel - again really? that way every service should have extra charges for travel) $30 for machine charge - again seriously - isn't that part of the jobs Why don't they charge for every screwdriver and any other tool they use in addition for $156. Total came up to $201 - I managed to find a 10% coupon online, but still ended up paying $181 instead of $135 which I thought I would pay. Not fair pricing, would never call them again because I do not know how much I will need to pay for the tools they use read more
