Great date night at CO!!! Atmosphere and decorations were great, great attention from staff (Special shout out to Kaleb who served us!) and food came out in a timely manner. We started with Crab Rangoons and Pork and Ginger Gyoza, they were delicious, pork was flavorful and these were the tastiest rangoons I've ever had (had to take some home to my mama!) For entrees we had the Korean short rib bahn mi and Vietnamese ramen, also very delicious. Ended the meal with the cheesecake wantons, which were so good. Waitress was so rude , my husband is a drill here at fort Jackson and anytime we get a chance to have lunch together we take it. So he was on his PT and vest because he was at work . Anytime me and my husband would ask for something she would just look at us when we would say thank you "She would say uh-huh" and walk away . Been here twice now. So far the food has been pretty solid, as have the drinks and service. Their pork belly is not something I'd order again as an app or as a sushi dish. Some of their other sushi is great though, I just wish every roll were not so expensive. As I'm more accustomed to going to a sushi bar and ordering 4-5 rolls just for me and Co just doesn't have a varietal price point on sushi. Their deluxe Com Chien was a very tasty and large varietal fried rice dish that was amazing. It can be a bit loud when it comes to ambiance during peak hours. Not much different from a Chinese takeout place flavorwise. Food was very overpriced for what you get. However, the one bright side to this experience was the sriracha Bloody Mary. Truly loved my first experience at CO in Columbia. I had been to the Myrtle Beach location several times and was so excited to hear they were coming to Columbia. I've been twice now and both times I have only tried the sushi and small plates. Sushi quality is very good, the yellowtail sashimi, pork belly roll, and the sunset crab roll were 10/10. Small plates I've tried the pork & ginger gyoza, crab wontons, beef kimchi dumplings, crispy tuna and they were good as well. My only complaint with the small plates/ appetizers is that it's exactly that lol very small. Definitely not shareable! However they are good. When we entered we were just told " sit where you want" then we waited for over 8min for someone to greet us at our table. The waitress never asked how we were? If it was our first time? Because she moved on to my friend without asking. I did order spicy number 3 and I had to ask for extra chili flakes. It was more like a - 1 To be honest. Something to know is they Charge you for every refill of soft drink. Not only is it $3.50 but it's a one time deal no refills. I wish the waitress or the menu would state that somewhere. But the waitress we had last night was rude enough to make us not go back.We never knew who our server/waitress was so ordering drinks or more sushi rolls was a bit challenging. The lady that did take our orders seemed snooty and acted as if she didn't want to be there. No smile. No introduction. No checking in on us with sauces, more food, more drinks. Waited over a half hour for food ... only one small plate arrived before we tired of waiting. Closed out and left hungry. Explanation from bartender (who still charged us full price for our drinks and one small plate): The sushi guy is busy with take-out orders.
