Up until I few years ago, I was a huge fan of Coach. Their styles always worked for me, but I always felt like their mercandise was poorly made. Of all the bags I owned, the ones made by Coach always wore out the fastest; I would see material rip inside my purses, and threads hanging off the outside... I ended up giving most of them to my Mom, because she never likes to buy new purses; she seemed to like them despite their quality defects. Am I too picky? After having a HORRIBLE time with customer service at Michael Kors I came in here to be greeted by two lovely women with so much enthusiasm! My kind of store! I did not want to make a rash decision in my purchase so I told them I will be back to let them know whether or not I will spend my money here, and they could not have taken it better than they did! I went to fossil and bought a bracelet then decided to come back, and when I did they remembered my name and were gracious and got to know me! I ended up working with Julia and she was amazing!!! She helped me with all my questions and brought up the website so I could see everything on the line. first time purchasing something from Coach, and will definitely not be my last!!!! Came to this location last night because I had a question regarding an online purchase that I had received and brought in one of my bags & wallet from a previous purchase that had some damage to the hardware. DAISY was very friendly and helpful with all my questions and took care of my damaged bag and wallet with no issues! I noticed that a common Yelp complaint is that if you are under-dressed they are not helpful...NOT true! I came in a tank top/jeans/flip flops and I had no problem getting help or being treated like a serious buyer. Wow..I guess I should have checked Yelp before buying my wife a Coach wallet. After spending $20 dollars to ship the walled for repairs I was just told by Coach that a "lifetime" warranty for a Coach leather wallet is 2 years. Hell my $12 tyvek paper wallet out lasted a leather Coach wallet. And the brain dead customer service representative said that people need to have many wallets so the wallet will not be used every day thereby making it last longer. She tells me that she has many wallets that she switches out so they can last years and years. So guess I should buy 300 leather Coach wallets and switch them daily so the will last for years. read more

I have always had the best customer service! I have walked into this store under dressed and received the same welcome smiles. Nancy Tom is the one to go to...very helpful, welcoming and gives you 100% of her attention. She has gone above and beyond for myself and for my mom. I have had two Coach wallets and both held up very poorly, the first one started to crinkle in the middle, they didn't make the same wallet anymore and they replaced it with an even cheaper one, it's two years old and the emblem that says Coach has all the paint wore off, i, I took it back to the store, they said they would call me that Monday , this was Saturday, no call, had to call twice to be told this was normal wear and they couldn't do anything about it, they only guarantee there products for a year. Let me start by saying I love Coach and have many of their products. What I am not a fan of are restrictions written in micro small print on the back of the receipt limiting my ability to return sale items within thirty days. I came into this location and initially dealt with Gabrielle, who was allegedly a manager. She was a bit curt and told me I had no recourse and then ran into the back of the store for the rest of my visit. After being informed that if I wanted to check with customer service, I would need to use my cell phone, so I proceeded to try customer service. After being on hold for over ten minutes with no progress in sight, another manager, Nina, came out. She was very polite, personable, and at least went through the motions of trying to help me. She was very sweet and I appreciated Nina's demeanor, even more so after dealing with Gabrielle. If you are going to buy Coach on sale, stick to Macy's and Nordstrom- their customer service is far superior. read more

I'll only go to this Coach location from now on! I called in to put some handbags on hold and Annie the SA helped me out. I came in asking for Annie and it turns out that there are actually two Annie's who worked at this location. One is the SA and the other was the manager. They both were very nice. Annie the SA catered to me and was very friendly and patient. I'm very OCD with purses and like to pick the one with the best leather grain and Annie was so helpful. She wasn't hovering around me and bugging me while I was inspecting the bag. She just checked up on me a few times and gave me my space, which I appreciate. I can't stand sales associates who just stand right by you the whole time and follow you around every second (which happened at another Coach location.) I ended up leaving the store with a beautiful Coach 1941 piece and couldn't be more happier! Thank you so much Annie for your help and for having patience with me. We walked in, gets greeted by half the staff which is a great start. As were were watching the men's wallet section, one of the sales came by and told us "just to let you guys know, all these here are 40% off (points at the counter that we were looking at)" So we ended up buying one of the wallets. Another lady walked to the same section and was told exactly the same by another sales that the counter that she was looking at is having a 30%-40% discount. Upon bringing these gifts home, we noticed that we paid full price for everything. Called the next day and ask them about the discount, they run the numbers and told me that the items that we bought are not in the discount area. I told her about how two different sales said the same thing about that men's wallet counter she replied saying maybe the wallet that we got was misplaced or we just heard it wrong. going back to return eveything because I would rather pay more for a more expensive brand than dealing with dishonest people. read more

This store is great. Although, I would expect this, considering how much I pay for their purses and wallets! The employees are always super cheerful and remember my face, which is always amazing. They always go above and beyond to get whatever I need and do it with a smile. I haven't been to another Coach store, so I don't know if this is what all their locations are like, but I feel like the Brea mall scored with all the employees in this location. read more

Just wanted to do an update, after this incident I wrote a complaint to coach online. The people in the online customer support actually seemed to know what they are doing and were very helpful. I was able to get my replacement purse sense they couldn't just fix the handle. Unfortunately, a year later and the handle is deteriorating. So overall i am not sure that the name and the price is really worth the hassle. read more

Ok, so Coach isn't as popular as they were before, so maybe that's the reason for this sudden decline in quality customer service? Came today to purchase a Christmas gift and I was less than impressed with the super basic customer service. Hi, can I help you look for anything? Oh, this is all we have... Walks away. However: that's not the thing that pissed me off and I have vowed to never come back to this Coach store, should I ever have to purchase anything Coach. While I was paying, an older Asian women came to inquire how to fix her strap. Seriously, the other associate at the register gave her a look and told her with an "I can care less attitude" that it costs $20 to ship out to fix or she can go to a shoe repair place. Wtf?! I'm sorry, even though Coach isn't popular anymore, people are still spending decent money on purses/wallets/etc only to be shunned off to a shoe repair place to fix their name brand product? I was going to purchase a men's wallet here too but totally decided against it after witnessing this atrocity. Went to South Coast and bought a Gucci one instead. I called previously to inform them about the order but it was forgotten again. They didn't even know that it was supposed to be delivered to our home. worst place ever! I bought a purse here once and the cashier never gave me a receipt. When i called the next morning for a dupllicate/proof of purchase,the manager basically said they don't track purchases in the same manner that your run of the mill dept store does and that he didn't know what to tell me. I paid cash so I was really screwed because with a card they could/would have to track that isssh! Then he asked the main reason I needed the receipt. I told him just in case something went wrong with the zipper or something and his demeanor changed. He said I could bring in to be repaired in that instance. So I assume w/o receipt you could possibly get store credit but otherwise too bad. I was just annoyed because it just felt like a take the $ and run attitude. I can only imagine if I'd spent $200 or more on one of their items. So I learned my lesson and always take the receipt in my hand now. I recently had a traumatizing experience at the coach store in Brea. I just came back from a family trip from the Primm Valley outlets and purchased an ok looking purse. I was debating on the purse and finally decided to return it at the local Coach store because that is what was stated on the receipt-"New, unused merchandise may be exchanged or returned at any Coach Store" I thought it would be an easy transaction, but when I arrived at the store all I got were accusations that the purse was used and that I was parting all weekend. If it's one thing I do not party-I'm a 35 year old woman with two kids and a responsibilities-I'm too old to be dealing with this drama. I went to the Brea store two times trying to return the wallet with a receipt but each time the white older women made me feel like a criminal. I just hope it has nothing to do with the fact that I'm a Hispanic woman because that would be a shame, living in 2011 and still experiencing discrimination. No one should be treated the way I was and if you decide to visit this Coach store in BREA I would think twice. read more
