    Bought a case for my Porsche Macan and it doesn't even come close to fitting. Case is way too small. I reached out to customer service and they sent me an install video and said to bend the leather to fit and after a few weeks it would form to fob. Nope. Still doesn't fit and magnet just lays open.

    I purchased an expensive iPhone 12 case from Story Leather over the internet, which didn't last 7 months. Here's what happened: While seated in an office chair, my iPhone dropped to the floor.  It was a mere 2-foot drop at most with a minor impact, but it cracked the plastic mold in two spots in the upper right corner (see attached photo). My iPhone no longer is securely seated in the case because the flimsy plastic mold Story Leather uses is not durable enough to withstand a minor impact.   Sadly, the company will not stand behind their flawed product. They should use a much more durable plastic mold to avoid serious damage caused by a minor impact. They would do nothing to resolve this issue other than provide a 15% discount on my next purchase ... lol ... why would I bother with that when they can't get my first purchase right.

    Another poorly made iPhone case. Leather is lovely, but, as others have mentioned it is glued to poor quality leather shell. After less than a week of normal use, the glue is detaching. Company refuses refund and only offers a credit if I return it.

    TL/DR. Summary: A $130 "custom" case that required a 6wk wait yielded a poor fit and zero accountability from Storyleather. They explained that they add 0.1-0.2cm all around to ensure proper fitting, but did not attempt to explain how the fit discrepancy was 0.9-1cm (because they can't). Despite their claim that if an error occurs on their end they will remake piece free of charge or issue a refund, they offered lip service and tried to suggest that remaking the case would yield "exactly" the same results. In my case, their explanation/excuses failed to explain how much the fit discrepancy was off, so requested a refund. The return/refund process took over two weeks, and Story Leather DID NOT reimburse for return shipping even though they were responsible for the error in fit. All in all I didn't have a great experience so sharing this as a warning to others. My experience: I've ordered two phone cases from Storyleather, first back in 2015 and again more recently in November of 2020. I carry a work phone and a personal phone and they were one of the few options I found that could accommodate two phones. I was quite satisfied with the first case and it served me well for 5 years, so I decided to order another when I finally upgraded my phones. I placed the order on 11/8 and received it on 12/21. The case I received was larger/bulkier than the specifications I provided, so I reached out to Storyleather to express my disappointment with a "custom" case that doesn't end up fitting well. Their website states that "if an error occurs on our end, we will remake the piece free of charge or issue a refund." Someone named Connie Lee responded to suggest that the dimensions I provided (1.4cm per phone) may be thicker than the actual thickness of my phones with cases on, and asked me to remeasure and confirm the dimensions. I did so and also provided specifications from the case manufacturer (1.35cm per phone), explaining that I rounded up 0.05cm per phone to 1.4cm because the previous case I ordered from them was too tight and made it difficult to insert/remove two phones. The case I received was about 0.9-1cm thicker than the specifications I provided. Connie replied to me and stated that they "add 0.1-0.2cm all around to ensure proper fitting" and blamed my "padding extra" 0.1cm for the reason my case did not fit correctly. She claimed that if they "were to rebuild the case with same dimensions, the case will turn out exactly the same." I'm not exactly sure how adding 0.1-0.2cm all around, plus my 0.1cm "padding" could justify the 0.9-1.0cm discrepancy. Apparently she couldn't explain the discrepancy. Instead of offering to remake the case or issue a refund, I basically received lip service and the suggestion that even if they remade the case I would get "exactly" the same results. Quite disappointing to pay $130 for a custom case and wait 6 weeks to find out it doesn't fit and the company couldn't care less about proper fit. I pushed for a refund, but Story Leather did not cover return shipping costs despite being responsible for the error and took over two weeks to process the refund. It shouldn't have required this much effort or out-of-pocket cost for return shipping so sharing my experience as a warning to others.

    Incredible experience…read more I can't say enough great things about this place. I've brought in four pairs of high-end denim for hemming, and every time the work was completed in under 20 minutes. The team is friendly, professional, and their prices are very reasonable. Most tailors would take a week or more, but they deliver exceptional results on the spot, using a proper chain stitch machine to preserve the original look and character of the denim. That level of craftsmanship and service is hard to find. The experience was truly above and beyond. Next time I'm in, I'll be picking up a pair of their jeans as well.     HOLY CRAP!! These guys are so incredibly slow!! I can't believe they get good reviews, they must…read moreonly do timely work for the locals. March 13th is when I paid for my "extreme damage" darning service. (these holes were no bigger than a quarter btw) June 3rd is when I was notified they were being shipped back to me. 11.5 weeks for something that they say will take 6-8 weeks. After the second month came and went, I was sure I wasn't going to get my jeans back. On Friday, May 15th I received a reply to my email asking about the status of my jeans. Tawny said that Steven is hoping to get March darns finished up by Tuesday. I wrongly assumed she meant the following Tuesday, not 2 weeks later. I guess Steven didn't hope quite hard enough. At very least, they could be more realistic on their stated timeframe to expect the work being done so the customer can make the choice to wait a ridiculous amount of time or to go somewhere else with their business. To top it off I got my jeans back and they smell terrible now. They insisted the jeans be washed when I sent them in and they were, I got them back smelling like the bottom of a goodwill clothing bin. This was my second time dealing with railcar. I ordered a t shirt and apparently ordered it in the wrong size. I sent it back and got an email saying that they received the shirt and they would exchange it. After a month went by I emailed them inquiring about the status of the shirt. Tawny replied, "Steven is falling a little behind on his list of things to finish up but he scheduled himself to finish printing next week". This is a whole month after they received the other shirt. Maybe if they started working earlier than 10am they could get things done in a timely manner. I'm glad in the end I just took a refund (minus the shipping cost of course) for the t shirt because I wouldn't want to advertise such a lousy company on my clothing and inadvertently cause someone else to have to deal with them.
