My husband and I had carryout pizza for dinner one night. It was my first time trying Coalfire despite living in the neighborhood for eight years. We ordered a custom pizza with chicken and onions. It was delicious with just enough of each topping we ordered. It hit the spot after a long day and I look forward to trying more of their pizzas in the future!

    Next to our table

We normally love this place so hopefully this is a temp situation but they are currently understaffed (8/1/25). Our food was taking ages while other tables around us who had sat down after us were eating...I asked a runner about our food, and it came out instantly. But clearly the food had been sitting and waiting a long time. My chicken Parm was not only overcooked (unrelated to sitting out), but was cold and looked dry, and the pasta was crusty. I was assured that my daughter's pasta was fresh, although that was very questionable as well. The manager offered to remake my dish, however I am certain that they just heated up the same dish , added fresh cheese, and gave it back to me - it had been cut and was exactly as overcooked. The pasta had more sauce on it than needed. The manager told us that he would comp our entire meal, but when I brought it up to the waiter, he said that they would take a percentage off. We watched as the manager bussed tables and dealt with to go food that was clearly not going smoothly. The waiter admitted they were understaffed. There was some something that looked like wet rained-on cake on the ground next to us and stuff all over the seat, as if the place had not been properly prepped and cleaned for dinner. Overall, the worst experience we've had here.

Grilled Caesar Salad - split (really good!)

I really enjoyed the pizza. We had a Margherita with signature sauce (instead of classic). I also split a grilled Caesar salad, which was very good. My daughter got spaghetti and meatballs. She didn't care for the meatballs, but the sauce was tasty. My youngest ordered kids chicken tenders with fries; they were what you might expect. The fries are skinny, which provides a nice texture, but they needed more salt. The restaurant inside is pretty generic. Overall, solid choice and I would order pizza regularly, if I lived closer.

First time trying this place and it was good! Had the right amount of crust and their crab Mac & cheese was good. Nothing bad to say about this place. I would definitely order from here again! Thanks Coal Fire

There are a lot of different places to park also, so not too bad. Ordering was very quick and easy. Our food and coffee drinks came out so fast. I ordered huevos rancheros which were pretty good. I had to put a bit of salt and hot sauce to get a bit more flavor, but that's just my preference. Only thing to me is the pricing of it was kinda on the higher side for what you get. Regardless, I would still go again to try other items.

Each time my drink was good, the espresso flavor was fine, it had a smooth bold flavor and the temperature was perfect. While my drink was good, I do feel that the $9.00 paid for a medium drink that was about the size of the Starbucks "tall" drink was a bit excessive. They charged an additional $1.00 for whipped cream?? An additional $1.00 for sugar free vanilla?? The portion size wasn't worth $9.00. I may not visit anytime soon and if I do I won't order an espresso drink. It's not worth the price. The interior appeared clean and the staff was professional enough.

My service was excellent and the woman who waited on me was so nice. She made sure to add extra pickles and went light on the mayonnaise, just like I had asked her to do. I did notice the prices did go up! They offer three sizes and I got the medium sub. That lasted me for 2 lunches. It is a clean and spacious shop. The sound travels, so it makes it loud inside the restaurant. I usually take my sub to go. My turkey and provolone sub really satisfied my craving. I hope you give them a try.

When I arrived, the staff was huddled by the grill talking, leaving me ignored at the counter. While waiting, I noticed sub rolls sitting directly on a wet countertop (see attached photo). When I ordered my #13, the employee grabbed a roll straight off that wet surface. I asked for a dry roll instead, and she complied--albeit with an annoyed sigh. When I asked why she was annoyed, she claimed there was "nothing wrong" with the wet roll. Upon checkout, I asked to speak to a manager about their hygiene practices. An employee who claimed to be the manager was friendly, but completely dismissed my concerns. She stated the liquid on the counter was a "food-safe cleaning solution." While she admitted when I asked her if she would eat it, that she wouldn't want her own food served that way, she insisted it was safe to ingest. Whether a chemical is "food-safe" or not, customers should not be forced to ingest cleaning solutions. If the staff is this careless with sanitation in plain view, it makes me highly concerned about what goes on behind the scenes. From my personal experience and observations, this location has consistently struggled with keeping their assembly station clean. I cringe at what the back might look like. Being that they are now a public company with much greater exposure and responsibility to customers, it is even more concerning and disappointing. This incident was the final straw for now. I will likely not be returning until obvious changes and training are made. I also visit Subway quite often, but have never felt disgusted at any of their locations.

Crispy, seasoned, fresh, and cooked exactly how I like it. And can we talk about the wings?! They are real, normal-sized chicken wings -- not those huge buzzard-looking wings . The chicken is Halal, so I never have to sit there wondering, "Is this even real chicken?" The Isaac's sauce/poultry sauce is GOOD, the chicken salad is delicious, and the broccoli slaw is definitely a winner. But that pineapple, apple & basil drink?! So refreshing and SO GOOD! What really impressed me was finding out that the gentleman who waited on me was actually the OWNER! I had absolutely no idea. He waited on me with the same attentiveness and humility you would expect from a great server -- no "I'm the owner" attitude, no ego, just genuinely taking care of his customers. I was honestly in awe when I found out. That says A LOT about a business and the person behind it. The food is amazing, but that kind of hands-on ownership and customer service makes me want to support the business even more. Everything I've tried has been on point. 10/10 -- definitely recommend Isaac's Poultry Market!

Tuesday 1/7/2025…read more Came across this spot randomly on Yelp a few years ago and saw they had some popular items like wings and cheesesteaks but what caught my eye most was the different empanada flavors. I made a pickup order over the phone and everything went well. One thing I got notified by the worker was that the empanadas will soon be leaving the menu permanently, so luckily I could try them before the change went into effect. For my order I got: applefest empanadas (2 ct) $6.49, steak and cheese (provolone) $12, and the 12 ct Mexican BBQ wings $16.49. - When it comes to the Applefest empanadas they were decent and they kind of reminded me of the McDonald's apple pies (an item I last tried YEARS ago). But I didn't like the $3.25 cost per empanada and being forced to order the empanadas in 2s-4s-6s without having the opportunity to mix flavors. - The steak and cheese was alright. It didn't wow me or anything but it gets the job done. - The Mexican bbq wings are a pretty good price, but I made a mistake with the flavor as the dry rubbed "Mexican bbq" wings were weak. Luckily, I had some BBQ sauce at home, and adding it to the wings enhanced the experience. Overall, Beers and Cheers is a cool little spot. The wings for the price are pretty good and something I'd recommend, but I honestly can't see myself returning.
