They had already processed my order under the new prescription, I came back and told the doctor that it was giving me headaches and wasn't working, she then made an excuse saying oh that was your old prescription. I asked why she was telling me to try my old prescription with these contacts she gave me. I took the contacts that they gave me open them and after two sets neither of them right eye or left eye fit correctly. I reached out and told them I would be going to a different optometrist, but that I wanted to return my contacts. They told me because I opened the boxes that they gave me that were incorrect. They could only return the unopened boxes, but that they could exchange them with Cooper vision but we're still going to be unable to provide me a return their representative. Vanessa was extremely argumentative on the phone and told me that they stand behind their customers but that because I wanted to go somewhere else, there was nothing they could do for me. Told them I'd never come back and I'm going to dispute their charges to VSP and to my credit card. Her excuse was they would take a loss on their error so there was nothing they could do for me. Plenty of better options in the area! Update, went to a lens crafters and got a different prescription with a different axis and cylinder and no headaches or issues.

The expenses for contact lenses, disinfecting solution, moistening drops, and annual eye exams kept adding up year after year. It was time I get LASIK while I'm still young because it maximizes years of contacts-free living and saves money over time. I did extensive research on LASIK providers and chose Dr. Feinerman for four reasons: 1) He did successful ICL surgery for my wife and she's had 20/20 vision ever since 2) He takes care of you from A to Z: He personally does all consultations, eye surgeries, and follow-up visits 3) He has over 20 years of experience and was a Chair of Ophthalmology at Hoag 4) He has many known celebrity/influencer clients (one of them Kobe, RIP). At my consultation, his assistants did diagnostic tests on my eyes to determine my candidacy. Dr. Feinerman said I qualified for Wavelight Plus LASIK (as opposed to traditional). The difference is that Wavelight Plus has higher rates of achieving 20/20 vision or better, and improved night vision. Not everyone can qualify for this so I chose this one. On the day of my surgery, it was done at his vision center and took less than an hour. I chose classical music to play in the background. My eyes were disinfected and numbed with solution. I laid on the operating table as Dr. Feinerman did the procedure and talked with me every step of the way. It didn't hurt at all and I was surprised it was quick ~15 mins. The moment it was done, I could see clearly as if I was wearing contact lenses. I was given a home care kit to take home and follow the schedule of eye drops to ensure my eyes recover. The next day I came in for a follow-up, did some vision tests, and Dr. Feinerman said I now have 20/20 vision. That was less than 24 hours from surgery so I can only hope for even better than 20/20 soon. For those those of you who are tired of wearing glasses and contacts, I highly suggest you invest in yourself and get LASIK. If you qualify, stop by Dr. Feinerman's office and I promise you won't regret it. I'm glad I did!

I went in on 3/2/26 prepared to invest in a full new setup including Kate Spade frames with progressive transition lenses, but I walked away 400 dollars out of pocket with glasses that are completely unusable. ​My primary need is seeing my computer screen, but when I sit down everything is blurry. Instead of addressing the lens issue, the staff tried to "rig" the frames by adding double nose pads and bending the ear pieces so tightly they dug into my head to force the glasses higher. When I returned after my first pair was finished on 3/16, a different staff member admitted the lenses were made incorrectly, yet they repeatedly mentioned a one-time fee for the correction as if the error was my fault. ​Between the initial fitting and the follow-ups, I spoke directly with four different staff members on the sales and fitting side. I received a second set of lenses on 3/25, but they were just as blurry. Trying to find the "sweet spot" in the prescription caused so much eye strain that I was in tears by 10 AM the next day. When I finally asked for a refund, they refused and even told my insurance company no. I am now out 400 dollars, I still do not have functional glasses, and I was never even given a copy of my prescription. ​I have officially filed a formal complaint with the California State Board of Optometry regarding the refusal to refund for a non-functional medical device. I am also reporting the office for violating the FTC Eyeglass Rule, as I was never provided a copy of my prescription after my exam. While the energy in the office is positive, the policies regarding defective products and the lack of empathy for inaccurate results is unsettling. If your prescription doesn't work out the first time, be prepared for a very difficult and expensive struggle.
