The chicken was freaking phenomenal, the food was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what we hoped for. The downsides were the quality of the carnitas and pollo. The carnitas seemed dry and was chopped into large cubes. The pollo was shredded and mixed in with equal amounts of bell pepper and onion. The best meat was clearly the carne asada, which was completely gone by the end of the event while the other two remained. We gave away the leftovers because they were mediocre. The horchata was good, but the agua fresca was barely sweet and kind of lacking in flavor. I have sampled many taco bars at various events over the years. Overall, I was surprised that this company had a rating of 5 stars on both Yelp and Google. For a price of a little over $1200, it felt quite expensive and like we were mainly paying for the delivery and quantity of food. Friendly and prompt service, but somewhat disappointing product.
