Look at the size of that thing! Delicious coffee on the way.

Coastal Roasters is a great stop down by the shore. They have so many varieties and options for both hot and cold drinks. A small bakery stand is by the cashier; when its gone, its gone. They also have several specials either seasonally or monthly, it is sometimes hard to tell though if the one you want is upcoming or on its way out. It's a tight squeeze to walk in and order but they have solved that issue by delivering orders outside to a picnic table (good luck if its rainy or really REALLY hot because you'll just have to be there). The coffee is great, the specials ARE special/unique, and the area is a cute little stop on a busy road, right by the water. I recommend Coastal Roasters for a great beach day pick-me-up.

Took the bike out to grab some coffee and stopped by Coastal Roasters to try them out. Small place with alot of offerings. Nice outdoor seating right on the Sakonnet River with a nice view. We tries the Uncranky Yankee and the Mojo Coco. Both were pretty good (a bit too much dairy for our liking) but we will order differently next time now that we know. The staff was very friendly. Seemed like quite a few regulars there just in the short time we were there.

This is a tough place to review! The interior is quite dark and the space is small (claustrophobic even when it's busy). The order counter is just to the right as you enter but the coffee shop line forms to the left so entry/ navigation can be tricky. There is a gift item shelf to the immediate left of the door by the window, making space tighter if anyone is considering a mug, stickers, etc. The clothing racks are on the left side and wrap around the counter, partly obscuring the view of the coffee roaster and adding to the squeezed in feeling. The single stall bathroom is behind all that, so if there's a restroom line there can be limited inside waiting to order space and in those cases, the line forms outside. It's so tight that many orders are placed with customers told to pick up at one of the outside tables. This means that when it's busy, service is going to take awhile, especially as the majority of folks seem to be ordering blended drinks of some sort like smoothies or blended coffees. Now, all that sounds unpleasant, so it's an excellent thing that the iced coffee is so freaking good! I'm an ice, cream, coffee in my cup drinker so can only comment on that basic - but to me a simple iced (or hot, in season) is the test of quality for a coffee shop. The coffee, the spectacular location right on the water, the large patio with a decent amount of comfortable seating? That has us driving 40-45 minutes at least once a month in the summer to sit a bit and sip. Note: my photos are mostly of the view?

I have been here several times. The service is pretty fast, parking for the most part is available because service is fast.

My favorite coffee shop in Rhody! The staff is wonderful, super friendly and kind. The coffee is incredible, you must try the peanut butter cup latte. Pasties are delicious. And the aesthetic is so fun and serene. The coastal back drop is just lovely and a perfect place to enjoy your coffee and baked good. So good!

I have an amazing experience every time I come to Coastal Roasters. The staff is always friendly and helpful when trying to order. I love that they're super pet friendly and ask if your fur friends would like a pup cup! My coffees are always so good. Located right on the water in Tiverton with some outdoor seating for a beautiful day! You can't beat it!

Good place for a cup of Joe and breakfast snacks. Situated on the Sakonnet River adds to the draw.

Tt has everything you'd want from a great coffee shop: comfortable seating, plenty of room to spread out and work, a rentable conference room, and something you would not expect from a coffee shop, the Aurora Bar, stocked with a nice selection of local spirits and other favorites. My partner and I stopped in for a quick nibble for lunch on Sunday and this was perfect. My partner went with the Caprese sandwich, which is served on a pressed ciabatta with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, pesto mayo, and balsamic. It was simple and tasty, and I was lucky enough to get a couple bites! I went with the Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap, which was also simple, but packed with flavor. It had all the obvious ingredients with the addition of pickles, which added such a nice briny little punch and really hit the spot. Something worth noting: both of our items were ordered from the laminated menu at the register, not in the beautiful leather-bound Aurora Bar menu, which appears to be an evening menu with cocktails and other tasty food items. For drinks, I went with an espresso tonic; the slight bitterness of the quinine plays really nicely against the bold espresso, and it's one of those combinations that's refreshing in a way that's hard to explain until you try it. One small note for the team: the Riverside location has always had a real warmth and cohesion to the staff that I haven't quite felt at Bristol. It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch, but a little more energy behind the counter would go a long way. Still a five-star spot, as the coffee and the space more than make up for it.

Tucked away in what was obviously once a domestic house and carefully transformed into a welcoming café, Kaffeology in Portsmouth feels like a well-kept secret. Although you can still feel the bones of the house, the conversion is tactful and sensitive, and the flow is surprisingly good for a coffee shop. It's the type of location where you naturally speak more quietly - not because you have to, but rather because the ambiance encourages serenity. The almond croissant went well with a well-pulled espresso and was fragrant and crunchy without being too sugary. The fact that Mrs. K. gave her latte the thumbs up is no small accomplishment. The sitting, both indoors and out, was varied enough to accommodate a short visit or a long morning, and the service was friendly yet unobtrusive. With just enough individuality in the décor to be well-curated without being fussy, the area exudes a subtle charm. Kaffeology is worth the trip if you're traveling through Aquidneck Island and need a restorative, rather than hurried, break. It aims to be terrific rather than trendy, and that's just what makes it memorable. [Review 1087 of 2025 - 90 in Rhode Island - 24641 overall]
