Quick and friendly service! My friends and I had a coffee date here last weekend. Everyone enjoyed Society Coffee's signature drink, the Quinny, (similar to Mirasol's Chippi). Their everything bagel with cream cheese was fresh, and baristas handled a busy line with ease. The drive- thru line was long both arriving and leaving after a few hours- it's a popular cafe! I would like to note that they should consider painting white arrows in the parking lot to direct which way traffic should enter the lot. They have small signs but my friends and I watched a few people struggle to get into the lot, as well as leave. Just be mindful! read more

Went to Society Coffee today for a meeting with my team. What a great place with a fantastic vibe. It was too hot to sit outside so we decided to go in for the air conditioning. My biggest pet peeve with AC in places, is that they make it so cold for consumers that they cannot enjoy themselves. This was PERFECT! Not too cold and not too hot. It was very comfortable. Being sugar free and nut free, I was thrilled to find several sugar free options for coffee flavorings. I enjoy flavored coffee and most places only carry vanilla in sugar free form. It was nice to have a choice. I ordered a sugar free chocolate chip cookie dough cold brew and an everything bagel for lunch. We were not rushed out, were comfortable and enjoyed our treats. This place is so adorable! The building is perfectly renovated to be sleek and stylish, but still inviting. They turned the vault of an old bank into a dining area. Super cute! The service was so incredibly friendly, and you can tell that they really care about the company. They were talking about other stores being opened and the popularity of certain drinks in order to help me pick what I wanted to have. I ended up having an eggnog hot latte, which was perfect. I asked for no sweetener, and it was just right. They were all out of cookies, which was disappointing. I really wanted to try one of the specials. However, perhaps because of the location, there were so many cool Portuguese infusions in the menu. I ended up having a breakfast sandwich on a Portuguese bolo, and there were Portuguese custard cups in the pastry case as well. All in all, I would absolutely come back. read more

While visiting family, we met up with a cousin who recommended Society. It's a very new establishment, and still finishing up the outside and main entrance. There's plenty of parking and the drive-thru continued to be busy. We walked in through the back entrance and there were plenty of seats. We grabbed a small booth in the corner. The set up was really cute and everything looked very modern and clean. I ordered a Samoa iced latte for myself and brewed coffee for my husband. He also ordered the breakfast sandwich, which he really enjoyed. It came on an Asiago bagel with honey bacon, egg, cheese and spinach. I asked about the banana bread oatmeal and whether it had almonds. She wasn't sure and went to check, but she must've missed it bbecause as soon as I opened it, there were definitely almonds. I ordered my cousin a pumpkin pie iced latte and her daughter a cookie. They both enjoyed their items overall. Saw this place recently across from the Rise cafe and figured I'd give it a shot. All I got was a large dark roast with a splash of cream and two stevia. It tasted okay, but frankly I don't think it was worth the price. Price was $4. Also the drive-thru line on Saturday was very long. I think it's a little overrated, however there are not a ton of "nice" coffee shops in the area. My biggest complaints are how they choose to call out some drink orders but not others so it just creates a chaos of confusion on whose drink was whose. Also my croissant was way too flaky, not buttery enough and just wasn't enjoyable. The egg and linguica sandwich my bf enjoyed. The chai and pumpkin coffee was good. The overall aesthetic and vibe is cute. The drive thru backs up so fast, I think they should just offer drinks in drive thru and sandwiches should be only offered when ordered in store but that's just my opinion. I finally got to stop in and try Society Coffee. It has a real upscale, sophisticated vibe when you go inside. I opted for a Cinnamon Bun latte with a Pastel de Nata (Portuguese custard tart for those that may not know). I loved both. Is it more expensive than other coffee shops? Yes. But, the atmosphere is great and the coffee tastes great. I will definitely have to come back on a weekend and check out the bar at night. read more

Society Coffee is an upscale coffee joint that does coffee correctly by morning and day, and does an even better job with their unique cocktails and service by night. I first went to the lounge part of Society during the first week of opening and let me just say that the hype was definitely real. Very crowded and very much understandably so. The cocktails from the two that I had were very delicious and very complex. I will come back during the opening hours of the lounge to try their smoked cocktails to see if it's delicious. The crowd is interesting. You definitely have your "I golf and belong to an HOA" crowd but you also get the "I'm hip and vape" crowd as well. The next day, I went to the cafe portion and got two caffenated beverages as well as two pastries/sandwhich. The quinny is delicious. If you want to know the exact taste of it, go to dunkies and get a medium regular 4 sugars. That is the taste of the quinny and I personally love it. Only difference is the coffee is actually done correctly as compared to dunkies. For folks who normally get a red eye, fair warning, their red eye is not your traditional red eye. They do a cold brew with a shot of espresso and the cost is significantly higher. Would I recommend it? With the price tag, no. Is it quality, yes! I HAD to get the linguica sandwich and let me tell you, it was one of the best things I've eaten at a cafe. The fact that they panini'd every sandwich was amazing. You had the crispy bread on the outside but moist and protein filled center in the middle. Only complaint would be that it was semi-warm and felt like they didn't cook it thoroughly. I got the malasadas and it was just okay. It's healthier for sure but it was lacking the traditional taste and texture of "fried dough." If other businesses surrounding Society Coffee is smart, open late to match their lounge hours and serve the possible intoxicated patrons some late night food! read more

This place is great. From the breakfast sandwiches, flavored iced lattes, QUINNY!, and sweets, to the extremely smart idea to reopen a few nights a week offering cocktails and tapas. I have no idea how people drink the coffee here. The Quinny is supposedly the most popular coffee and it tastes like coffee milk with a ton of added sugar. I literally cannot drink it because it's like liquid sugar. I have not met a coffee here that I like and I won't be back, unfortunately. I truly have no idea how this coffee sells. read more

Hosted a private event with Society's Somerset location and it did not disappoint! We were able to rent the whole shop for a cocktail party for a birthday. The esthetic and vibe of the shop is perfect for a cocktail style party. The GM Adam made the planning process very easy. He was enthusiastic about the event, from the decor to the playlist, even to the cocktail list (Taylor Swift TTPD themed party for reference). Our bartenders for the night, couldn't have been better; Supervisor Liz and Nicole- they made us fabulous cocktails all evening. They were super friendly & all the guests had a great time thanks to them! They even helped with all the little details: packing and labeling left overs, cake cutting, and helping break down decor. Can't forget Chef Joey with the amazing bites. Guests loved the nachos and quesadillas, also raved about the tacos. The flavor the chef adds to the food really elevated the basics and made you wanting to go back for more! These aren't just the basic nachos, tacos or quesadillas! We ordered some cookies and brownies from the shop's preferred bakery- which were just as delicious.
