First time to visit their new space! Love all of the natural light and the pond views. The 'tapas' portions are very small, but the flavors were good. We wanted to try it out for the all day Tuesday happy hour. Glad we did as it still seemed like steep pricing even with the HH discount. Full price is $16 for 4 grilled cheese toasted points and $18 for crab dip. $5 off on Tuesdays. Wine was $3 off and beer $2 off. I truly love this place and cannot believe it took me so long to discover it. It seems whatever they do, they do it right. If you appreciate a nice glass of wine, you will enjoy their selection - all nice wines at a variety of price ranges to appeal to a wide audience. They offered a large selection of house wines (the phrase "house wine" does not do them justice) and the goat cheese and fig jam with sour dough crostini was a wonderful starter. The petite filet was tender enough to forego the knife and was served in a delicious Demi-glaze. The jumbo lump crab cake was a nice addition. Of course the molten chocolate lava cake "took the cake". On other occasions, I have enjoyed their "create your own" charcuterie board, hummus plate, sliders, coconut shrimp, meatballs, among other items - all nicely done. When we walked in we thought we were in the wrong place...it was nothing like the photos....found out it had moved to this new location. No comfy sofas...warm woods... just common wood booths......ambiance is 0. We decided to stay, had a very nice waitress, they were out of the first two bottles we chose so they gave us another wine which was very nice. We ordered the flatbread, it was delicious. Don't bother with the Spinach Dip!!!! All in all we had a nice evening, might b back. It is very noisy, too! They also have specials, Happy-Hours, etc. We stopped in for the crab dip appetizer and a gouda/Prosciutto/fig cheese and meat charcuterie board, along with a couple of beverages. We loved the food, and the vibe, and with the happy hour price we were full for less than $75 all-in for the two of us. We have lived in Nocatee for about two years now but had never tried this place until today. It was a very pleasant surprise. They have happy hour from 4 to 6 every day so we went during that time. The restaurant has about 6 or 7 high top tables on the left side of the facility and the same amount of lower tables on the room on the right side. We opted for a high top on the left side and were very happy with our choice. I had two glasses of rose, and my husband had an angry orchard hard cider. We both loved our drinks. We also ordered the hot crab dip, which comes with a small loaf of warm baguette bread. It had a little kick to it but was really tasty. We also ordered a charcuterie board with prosciutto, gouda cheese, crackers, fig jam, dried apricots, pickles and almonds. All of it was delicious. We will definitely be back. I was a bit nervous going somewhere on a whim on a Saturday night, but this place had so much seating that we didn't have to wait for a table. I LOVE the atmosphere here- it's not loud and is a great place to unwind. I got the white wine flight and we ordered the daily special (crab wontons) and shared a charcuterie board. Both were amazing. The crab wontons had a spicy kick to them which I loved. The service was great and we enjoyed our evening here. My friend does a group called Larks and this is one of his favorite places to bring us as a get together. The service is always awesome and the food good. This place has been on my list since I moved to Jacksonville and I finally made it there! My friends and I met on a Friday night for happy hour, and Coastal Wine Market was bumping! First impression was funny to see all the golf carts in the parking lot. Even though Jax is only about 35 minutes away, it feels like another world here. I was greeted as I walked in and met up with my friend who arrived early to get our table. We were seated right under the huge, custom made chandelier. This place is seriously beautiful! I love the big comfortable chairs. This is the perfect happy hour spot. I started with a glass of bordeaux that was $3 off during happy hour. We ordered the tuna wonton app, coconut shrimp, a cheese plate, and goat cheese with fig jam. The plates are small and perfect for sharing. The goat cheese with fig jam and fresh bread was my favorite. The service was great despite how busy they were. I was also very excited to see Collefrisio montepulciano on the menu. I got to know and love this wine from the few wine bars in Pittsburgh that serve it. The volume was loud inside, but this is a great place to have a fun night. We came in for a quick glass of wine and ended up spending a couple of hours sitting and chatting, while drinking wine of course. Great wine selection and great prices on wine. I especially love that they have happy hour so you can try some of the better wines without committing to the higher price. We did get any of the food however everything on the menu looked delicious and we saw some of the food coming out and it smelled incredible. She was extremely informative as to the wine offerings. We both ordered wine flights. My friends and I tried Coastal Wine Market for the first time. We went on a Friday night which was pretty busy. We sampled several different wines before making a bottle purchase of a Cabernet Sauvignon. Our sommelier was very knowledgeable and had many stories to tell about the winemakers who filled the shelves of the market. We ordered two dishes for sharing, the trio of spreads and antipasto board. My favorite spreads were the olive and pimento cheese. All the spreads were fresh and I liked the little mini pieces of toast served for dipping. The antapasta board was also tasty. One of my favorite things on this plate were the seasoned almonds, yummy! Also I really want to find out where to buy those thin little crackers because they were delicious! Service was friendly. You have to walk past the kitchen to go to the restroom. But I liked that you can see what's going on in the kitchen. If you like wine and eclectic places stop by soon. read more

We've lived here in Nocatee for 8 months and have driven by saying, "We really need to check that place out!" Well, the time came yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny, warm February day, so my husband and I decided to go for a bike ride and stop by Coastal Wine Market and Tasting Room to check it out. Well, once we walked in "to check it out," there was absolutely NO WAY we could leave without trying their wine and tapas. We arrived prior to 4 o'clock, so we decided to meander around the other stores nearby to pass the time. Four o'clock finally arrived, we locked up our bikes, and headed inside. This place is lovely! From the deep wood colors to the amazing chandelier room - a gorgeous new addition - this place is stunning. The wine selection is vast, and if you're on a bit of a budget, they have a selection of house wines by the glass and a few more budget friendly bottles. We decided to get a glass of wine (or two) and a cheese and meat tray. We had the amazing opportunity to live in Italy in the early 2000's and the cheese and meats rivaled the tapas we enjoyed on the piazzas in Vicenza and Verona. Knowing I had to ride my bike back home, I used the ladies room. And, well, while discussing restrooms isn't exactly flashy, cleanliness is important to me. They were beautifully decorated, and more importantly, spotless. (I always appreciate a clean restroom.) Our service was efficient and our server was very friendly. The owner came out to chat as well. I really could not say more about this diamond hiding in the Nocatee Town Center. We drove by today, and my husband joked saying he felt a strange pulling of the car toward the Coastal Wine Market and Tasting Room. So...I feel very confident we will return. Probably, sooner rather than later. Boy....I can get used to the whole "Retirement Thing!" Coast Wine Market and Tasting Room was voted one of Jacksonville's Best Wine Bar in December 2020. Due to a invite for a celebration I traveled to Nocatee and Coastal wine. Located in a small parcel of restaurants and shops I found easy parking and due to the cute patio found it quickly. The inside was energetic with conversations and wine tastings. The room surrounded in brick and wine cases immediately gives you a calm feeling. Their selection was great and the food good.
