Delicious elote pan dulce, straight out of the oven!

Can smell the bakery from the outside in the crispy cold morning weather. Waking up with a sweet tooth? Having cafe de olla? Want tamales or atole?? Come to Panamericana Bakery!! - lots of customers at 7 a.m. - quick transaction was in and out!!

What I took back from the bakery...which vanished much sooner than expected.

It's loaded with tasty treats. Then there were several people there and they had ordered a meal that looked great also. I was there for the baked goods and the sweetbreads are tasty treats!

How clean is the place? I ask because looking at the photos they posted of the trays and racks, they are black with dirt. Do they not clean the racks and trays or do they burn everything?

I understand your concern - honestly I don't know, but then again me having grown up going to these (Panaderia's/bakeries) & as an adult- most of them look that way. I haven't gotten sick going to this particular bakery, if that helps. They mop all… Read more

Since I was not familiar to the place, I was early...only to see a sign on a sheet of paper that they will be open at 8:30 am that day. Not a biggie but due to an unfamiliar area for me, I just sat inside my care and waited. When the door opened, the smell of freshly baked bread was inviting. The shop though...well, maybe it's just too early in the day or not. I was the 3rd customer in line....1st lady maybe forgot to take her morning pills and was grumpy about not having her usual pastry available and was having this high pitched conversation with the store person for her wrong math calculation for her baked goods. The 2nd customer waited patiently and got his long list of order. Then when I heard the price total...yep! This bakery has pricey goods. My turn came and all I said was TooGoodToGo...their day old pastries that were sold for lesser price. Maybe waiting patiently paid off since the man gave me 2 bags containing 6 pastries (I only paid for a bag)! I heated one muffin when I got home...and they were good! Will I make the trip again....uhmm....maybe.

I came in for a cappuccino and croissant and left questioning every life decision I've ever made…read more How did I not know this place existed?? The cappuccino was so smooth it should probably come with a warning label, and the croissant was so buttery I swear it flirted with me. Also... the girl working there? VERY nice. Like "I suddenly believe in love at first baked good" nice. If heaven has a bakery, it's probably just copying these guys. Will be back until they physically remove me.

It's located in a strip mall on PCH near the Dodgers mural. There was a pretty steady flow of traffic but the line moves quickly. You can look at all their pastries and tarts on display while you wait. There isn't much of an interior to sit. I tried the green apple tart, fruit tart, cream puff, and white chocolate strawberry cake. Everything was delicious, and surprisingly awesome for being totally gluten free. My favorites are the tarts, with the crust being the standout. The cake was extremely light as if eating a cloud. I will definitely be coming back. There's so much more on the menu to try out, including drinks and breakfast sandwiches, there's no doubt I will be getting another dessert to go along with it.

Friends ordered a few other things as well, and overall everything was super good. What stood out most was the texture. Everything tasted moist and well made without feeling like it was trying too hard to be "gluten-free." I'm not personally gluten sensitive, though a couple friends I was with are, and honestly I wouldn't have known it was gluten-free based on the quality and taste alone. The drinks were solid too and paired well with everything we ordered. The whole place has a calm neighborhood bakery feel to it, and you can tell it's a spot locals come back to often.

It looks like a convenient store standing alone right off the 405 El Segundo exit. A bit dingy looking from outside with its on parking. Once inside it's packed with all kinds of food - donuts, croissants, sandwiches, chips, smoothies, coffee, juices etc. etc. - it's a bit overwhelming. They could definitely improve their interior, it could stand to at least be more orderly. The person behind the counter was warm, friendly and patient. The more I wandered the more I liked it. All in all, I think I'd love to go back and try their juices and other stuff because the dozen donuts we bought were very good and fluffy the way I like them and those who like cakes donuts liked their version too. My go-to order is the old-fashioned with white icing paired with an iced vanilla latte, and it never disappoints. The donuts are always freshly made in the morning, and the coffee is smooth and flavorful. What really impressed me is the value -- a 24oz iced coffee is only $6, which is incredible considering most places charge that for just a 12oz drink! Beyond donuts and coffee, they have so many snack options -- every type of chips you can imagine, a fridge stocked with energy drinks, juices, Gatorade, and more. They also make freshly squeezed orange juice which tastes amazing, plus hot and ready croissants and sandwiches for when you need something more filling. One thing I do wish is that they had a little more variety in donut options. They've really nailed the basics/classics, but it would be fun to see some new flavors or unique styles here and there . The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and I love stopping by here when I'm on the go. Great customer service + delicious food + unbeatable prices = highly recommend
