Absolute ripoff and horrible car wash. $47 later... Bugs all over the windshield barely anything wiped down. Paid $20 extra for the mats to be washed and when I finally got the car back the mats were soaking wet and foamy still. It was taking so long that I had to escalate to the manager and he actually went and started helping with the mats since no one was working on the car at all. He was very helpful but left and they did not get them done properly as I don't think I should have to go wash the mats again to get the foam and soap off. Took over an hour and will never get that hour back. Need to go home now and clean the windshield for starters...LOL! What a joke. Never again Cobblestone!! read more

I paid $60 for the hand wash service and it took 45 minutes, but I'm not sure why. It was vacuumed but the interior was not even wiped down a little; not the doors, floorboards or console, and I have pictures. Remnants from tape remained on the windshield. I wish I read the reviews before I let them do my car! This place is absolutely terrible! They charged me $450 and nothing was completed for the service I didn't even know I was paying for by the sales person. I feel like I was totally taken advantage of! I was never even given prices they just took my card. It was dark when I got my car and once I looked at the receipt I was mortified and in tears! I called and was told to go back up there to show the manager Nick! They wanted me to spend another 2/3 hours of my day there but I wanted a refund which I was refused and it's not stated on the receipt. My car barely looked detailed! My floor mat was ripped and they were all stacked on each other soaked and the trunk wasn't even vacuumed! Their customer service is terrible and I have worked in customer service for years! Not only did the car wash ruin the paint on my cars hood and create tons of swirls all over but they also just increased the monthly fast pass price from $14 to $20 per month without notifying me. Also they make it extremely difficult to cancel the membership service. Been using this car was for a long time and this is the end result. Have owned my car for 9 years, this is the main wash I use. Unethical Business Practices. I made the mistake of having my young daughter (16) take her car to Cobblestone for a carwash. We've all experienced their high-pressure sales, but they took advantage of her youth and unknowing coerced her into signing up for a membership to the tune of $ 36.00 per month. When attempting to manage the membership on their website it does not recognize her email address or cell phone number. Next option is to call; I have been put on hold for 5 minutes each time and then disconnected with the option of speaking to a representative. Now I'm on with American Express disputing the two most recent charges and blocking the merchant from charging our card in the future. I recommend Tom's Thumb; they do a better job and won't talk advantage of your unsuspecting children. read more

So I used to get great car washes from this place. I just paid $34 for a works car wash on my truck. I'm not that guy that walks around and looks my vehicle over to nitpick it, but when I got home, I noticed a big splat of bird poop and a bunch of dirt on the passenger side of my windshield pillar and roof. I was so disappointed. I drove back and spoke with Wayne who sold me the wash. Instead of looking at it and saying yeah sorry we'll take care of it. He gave me some BS answer about how if it doesn't come off in the wash they're not allowed to take it off because it will damage the paint, like I've never washed a vehicle before in my life! Would've been nice just for them to say hey sorry we'll run it through again and take care of it. Then I would be a happy customer again. read more

I've had the monthly unlimited full service membership for a few years, which I do think is a good deal. My problem is that they take forever to wash your car - I really don't understand their process or how they decide what car they are working on. Multiple people pop back-and-forth between different cars and then they'll go back to the original car they're working on and there really doesn't seem to be any set process. I'm sure they have some way that works for them, but it does seem like it takes way too long to get a car wash. A 40 minute wait when it really isn't that busy is pretty ridiculous. Now to my real gripe... the car wash isn't great. I believe that they need to install a water softener or something to make the water quality better. I never noticed this until I got a black car and I can't explain how frustrating it is to wait 40 minutes for your car wash only to drive away with water spots all over the car! I will say that the staff is very friendly at least the people that are washing the cars are, and they are doing their best. I just think that the quality of the water and the processes themselves definitely need to be improved. I am seriously considering canceling my membership. read more

I have visited this location for car wash services for years without issue. I was never really "wowed" by the service; but, I found it to be solid and convenient. A bit over a month, the attendant that was in charge of my service, provided me with quotes for a one-time service that seemed really far off, after some back and forth, as well as my being firm about wanting a basic one-time service, he provided me with an amount that seemed more reasonable which I paid. A few days ago, I realized I was, without my consent, signed up for a monthly subscription service, which I was not advised of and again did not consent to. I have repeatedly tried to get in touch with them via phone, text, etc. No phone calls have been returned. And, I ultimately had to take up the charges with my credit card company. I do not typically write reviews, and when I do, it is not in complaint. I am very shocked and disheartened by this experience. This is a very concerning and fraudulent practice. read more

Beware that this establishment routinely adds fake credit card charges. This happened to me two times in a row. Both times I wanted a simple car wash. Both times the initial order writer began telling me a long list of other things I should also buy. No I said, just a car wash. Again a long list. No, just a car wash. Another long list. No just a car wash. Another long list. No, just a car wash. Okay a car wash he said. Give me your credit card. I stupidly did. Then he again began once again with the hard sell to buy more. Finally, I said. Just give me my card back and I'll go somewhere and get my car washed. He smirked as he did and said "I already ran it" and handed me the receipt charging me much more than a car wash. I was so mad I went inside and asked to speak to the manager - who smiled and pretended to process a refund. As you might imagine when crooks and shysters run a business there was no refund. Once can be an unfortunate event; twice in a row is a business practice. Never will I return and when these people are arrested for consumer fraud, which will occur sooner or later, I will volunteer to testify. What they are counting on is that few people will notice a small overcharge, fewer will complain about the swindle because it is so small ($18 the second time), and even fewer will challenge the charge and have their credit card cancelled and reissued. First I would like to say that I used to pay for membership to wash all of my cars at this place. Loved it. Then I bought a new car and it wouldn't go through the wash tunnel. I was told my car would would be able to go through the tunnel and when they tried I could hear it grinding and scraping. They stopped it and had to take it out. They washed it by hand. Didn't offer any compensation and I never returned. Today, after a year, I returned and asked for a hand wash. It was $101.99! For their basic hand wash. I was offered 6 washes for $300. I needed it washed and I figured oh well, I'm here I'll pay the $101.99. I waited for my car and when they called my name I went to pick up my car. To my disappointment it wasn't vacuumed. There was dirt on my back window. The inside was barely touched. To say the least I was pissed. I asked for a person to see how dirty the inside of the car was. I told him I knew it wasn't his fault but I was really upset. The guy drove the car back to the entrance of the car wash and I asked to speak to a manager. I used some profanity I said "How the f word does this happen when you spend $101.99 for a basic wash". I repeated that a couple times. The manager was like settle down let me speak. He said "This is the first time I'm hearing of this, sorry it will take longer but we will make this right." They cleaned the car and that was it. I tipped the first guys when I thought I would get a cleaned car (the outside looks great). I then tipped the next guy since he had to fix the other problems. The manager never came back to tell me it was done. Never told me it was ready. The first guy that drove my car over to the vacuum area said " I think your car is ready". I'm shocked the manager just wiped his hands of this and left me there sitting there for longer than I needed to be. No more apology. No compensation for a job not done. Horrible management. I was told he has to manage the entire complex. I was thinking to myself, yeah, you're the manager. Terrible customer service. Terrible car wash. Sad. Absolutely the worst oil change, ever. They have the gall to charge $150, and do nothing to clean up after themselves. This is THE best Cobblestone on this side of town. It's crazy how much of a difference 5 miles makes between this location and their location on Scottsdale Rd is... I have been a long time Fast Pass customer for nearly 10 years, I think. This location used to be poorly run and the constant pressure selling in the intake lanes was unsavory. That's no longer the case and hasn't been that way for a long time. I have had great experiences and less than stellar experiences all along the way. The guys and gals on the final part of the line are great. They all take time to make sure the cars are cleaned and make sure the glass sunroof is wiped dry. My favorite person at Cobblestone is Nick the car wash manager. Nick always treats me with kindness and respect, as he goes out of his way to make it a point to say high to me. He runs a tight ship and it shows. I am posting this review today, as I was just a few blocks away when I accidentally dropped my chai tea all over my passenger seat and floor board. The outside still had bird poop on my door, which I had to clean when I was home with a cloth, there was still dust on my dash console, passenger floor wasn't vacuumed well...Even the mirrors were smeared and not properly cleaned.
