No different than a gas station car wash. I came here expecting at least some service, and it was only 5:15pm. I understand that the place closes at 6pm, but 45 minutes from that is a long time. The place was a ghost town. Paid $16 for the best wash available as my car needed it, and I thought someone would at least be able to help wipe the car down as that is the norm in places like this, but an employee with his mouth full of food pointed me to the exit or self service station (both in the same direction.) Not a single soul to speak to, everything was completely automated. The "clean towels" were damp and stained. There was no experience, I could have had the same wash for $3 down the street. If your in a rush and don't need the inside cleaned. Get gas and pay at the pump. The inside doesn't get vacuumed. You get to sit in your car and drive through. I paid and went inside to watch. The pay at the pump guys. Get priority treatment. The oil change guys also get priority. Seven cars went ahead of mine before it was vacuumed and queued up for a wash. If I pay $40 for a wash then I should get priority treatment. One star. read more

This is the second car wash I have gotten here, and both have been disappointing. I always pay for the most expensive one so I can get my interior cleaned, and this time I asked the guy to make sure my trunk got vacuumed and he said no problem. Meh....that's all I can say about this place. PROS: Inside is nice and everyone was friendly. CONS: They stole the quarters out of my car, which is sad to say a normal thing with car wash places. The part I didn't like was the fact that I had dried water streaks on the inside of my car doors because I had my windows tinted a month ago. I noticed they weren't wiped down and still there, so I pointed it out before leaving. The guy started talking about it and wiped it a little. I said it's on all of the doors and he went silent (I should have waited to give him the 25% tip I left him). Anyway, I grabbed the towel to make sure it would come off and he disappeared, leaving me to wipe down all the doors in my car. I had literally the absolute worst experience today at Cobblestone. The customer service representative awkwardly flirted with me the entire time we talked about my car and kept commenting on how young and good I looked. Completely inappropriate and weird. I then waited for 2 hours for my service when he promised me "about an hour." It wasn't until my friend went back and asked what the hold up was that they finally finished up my car. It was just sitting there for no reason. The car wash guy took my car and drove around the parking lot with it for some inexplicable reason and I had to run through the parking lot and stop him to get my car back. As he sketchily hopped out -- his shoes muddy-- he looks at me and says we didn't vacuum. The inside of my car did not look like they touched it in the slightest. They also un-programmed my blu tooth for reason I couldn't imagine. Why was my driving my car around the parking lot instead of cleaning it and giving it to me like he was suppose to!!!!??? I have never been so completely disappointed and frustrated with any sort of service experience IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. That place is absolute trash and I will never ever return. read more

They didn't vacuum the trunk then gave me a lame excuse that it's their policy because customers don't want their trunks vacuumed. Even if some people don't want their trunk vacuumed why not ask? Updated 6-25-2013 after comment from Cobblestone: This policy of not vacuuming trunks wreaks of pure laziness and profiteering, and has no bona fide basis in customer preference or respect for privacy. People also store "personal belongings" inside their car, including guns, illegal drugs, iPods, and other expensive electronics, yet the inside is always vacuumed. Indeed, most people keep their most valuable possessions inside the car, not sliding around in their trunk. Even if there was some bona fide concern for privacy, the solution is to ask customers whether they would like their trunk vacuumed, not to skip it without giving the customer any notice or opportunity to choose. It is telling that nowhere in any of Cobblestone's advertising or signage does it state that trunks are not vacuumed, which is borderline, if not outright, fraud. The reason customers is that vacuuming trunks takes time, and if you skip 5 trunks that allows you to squeeze an extra car out during that time. If you give customers a choice, most will want their trunk vacuumed and that costs more money. Cobblestone's policy is an example of "the customer is always wrong" mentality that has become pervasive in most service industries. The problem with this kind of thinking is that it results in short term profits while sacrificing long-term customer retention. I won't be back, nor will many others. read more

I got an Oil Change and that went really smooth. I got the $50.00 "detail" and I wish I wouldn't have. I came in knowing that I am never satisfied with these places and their measly excuses for detailing. I decided to give it a try because my boyfriend and I both needed it done and didn't want to spend all day doing it ourselves. My car got through a lot quicker than his but we were probably there a total of 2 hours. When I got my car the rims were still dirty, the front of the car looked like it hadn't even been washed, and there were smudges all over the outside and inside where the product hadn't been wiped off. I was so over being there I wasn't going to say anything but my boyfriend didn't want to hear me complain all night about going home and having to clean my car after being at this place two hours... So he said something. The guy "Robby" I think it was, came over and seemed less than excited to get my car in the condition is should have been in. Of course he had an excuse. "Your break grease is so thick on your rims I should have cleaned it with acid" That's funny... because you sprayed it with your little squirt bottle and it wiped right off. Quit being lazy and remember the customer is always right. Number 1 rule of customer service. I will never come back here again. And I hope nobody pays that much for a so-called detail, you'll probably get the same service for the cheapest wash. read more

I think these folks did a great job with my car. Upon arriving, the attendant pointed out to me an empty lane I overlooked, which would speed my wait. Thanks! The shop was really clean and all the employees were friendly and helpful. The prices are comparable to Danny's. I wish I knew about the wash discount with a gas purchase because that would have saved me money but that is something I own for not noticing (just a little bummer). What I DID like was Tony, their glass rep, noticed I needed a new windshield, and when I explained to him I had an appointment to get it replaced this weekend, he didn't drop the conversation. Instead, like a good sales rep should, he engaged some more and next thing I know, he's invented me to swap my appointment and get service with them. He made that so easy! read more

Very disappointing repeated experiences. I signed up for the monthly wash subscription at the cobblestone on ray and priest but it closed shortly after because of renovations. The next nearest one is at Elliot\I-10. I went there a total of 4 times. First two times i'd go home and clean up all the water spots and what I noticed was a thin film of lint red in color. Second time same thing but blue in color. Third time i went back I put 1 + 1 together and realized it was their terry cloth towels. I advised Jeremy of this, who claimed to be the manager, at that point Jeremy offered no resolution, my argument was it defeated the purpose of me going to a car wash to get it washed and full of lint on all the body panels for me to spend 1-2 hours attempting to wipe it off at home. Furthermore Jeremy didn't de-escalate the situation, he knew he had other towels at his disposal that wouldn't leave lint at his detail section but refused to. He provided me with Jason Dyer's number who is the operations manager and a partner in the business. I left Jason a total of four messages, two at his cell phone and two at the corporate customer service line, over a business weeks' time. During that time I went back a fourth time to the elliot and I10 location. Didn't mention anything to jeremy, I knew what was going to happen that I was going to get lint again, i was simply going to wait on Jason's return call. The car was washed, not dried at all, the employees told me the car was "ready". Again water spots everywhere, water coming down from the door panels, trunk, fenders and gas cap that wasn't wiped. I got really irritated because this was simply lazy as hell. I went to jeremy and advised him of the water spots and the car still being wet. His responses was aggravating, and childish, unlike the behavior of a manager. He told me "it just got washed" insinuating it was going to be wet anyway, then continued to rant about how if i didn't like the service I can go elsewhere (all because i'm trying to hold them accountable if I am paying you for a service service needs to be rendered and as far as i'm concerned this location has never fully rendered service), then after he was done ranting, he took my receipt and threatened to cancel my subscription. I returned again two days later to speak to the other manager "dustin" about the situation. He was professional calm and i thought we had a understanding regarding the issue. I approached Dustin after my wash to see what he can do about detailing the vehicle due to water spots and the lint again. Dustin proceeded to offer me a detail package of 70$ (took 5 dollars off). I rejected. Finally Jason called me back 1\11\17. The conversation with Jason was extremely aggravating. The attitude was "oh well too bad so sad". Jason reaffirmed that the towels used will be used again regardless of the outcome of lint getting on the body panels. He took his employees word for it without hearing me out as towards the end of the convo he reaffirmed his employees positions. He then said "Dustin already resolved the issue with you". When I asked him to inform me how Dustin resolved the issue he became agitated and proceeded to end the call. I don't understand how the people running the business can claim to be critical thinking adults if they are even incapable of solving such a elementary dispute. I'm still open to resolution if the owners or Jason decides to reach back out to me. Until then I will continue reviewing their behavior and quality of service. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I took my car in last Saturday and purchased a detailed car wash package. It is okay that they did not clean my car well but they broke it! My windshield strip is broken, my car mats stink, and there are still bird poops on top of my car! The service costed me almost $200 and I am not happy with the result at all! read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. The best three words I could use to explain the service, quality and accountability. Bug guts galore still left on my car and when I confronted the head of the "finish line" he wiped it a little and that was it. I could easily wipe the bugs off with a finger, and the cherry air freshener smells like cough syrup. I purchased the supreme wash and the service at the front was impeccable and friendly. Thoroughly disappointed with the quality of the wash and UNWILLINGNESS to fix their mistakes. WILL NOT return here and will be sure to suggest no one else comes. Great atmosphere. I rarely have a bad wash here. It is better than most in the area. I would grant a 5 star except for my most recent trip they used a dirty rag for the interior and delivered the car to me stinky (due to the dirty rag). Please folks, change rags often? Also they missed a large bird poop on the tonneau cover this time. It's not like them tho and if you ask the attendant to make sure no poops when you drive up, that is when you will get a good result. But you shouldn't have to ask each time. After driving for several hours in a row I stop here late night, pump some gas, use the restroom & as Im walking out I see some sofa like chairs so i decide to sit down & chill out on my phone for a few minutes. Approximately 1 minute after sitting down the cashier speaks out loud a question "are you waiting for someone in the restroom?" Im thinking dude had to see me walk in by myself. I reply "No" in a wondering concerning tone. Then dude says "well you cant hang out here..." Wowwww chevron & this store have some obnoxious policies to just kick out their customers. So I went to get my oil changed on both of my vehicles before my c section Monday and I was completely blown away at how amazing Justin Rubin and his team of mechanics were. They were quick and attentive to my concerns and answered all of my questions in laymen's terms for me. PLUS, Justin noticed that I had another issue that needed to be fixed pronto so he went above and beyond to help me fix my broken torque strut at no additional cost to me. These are a team of men that love what they do and use their skills in a very cost effective, honest and quick way. I will definitely be going back to them for all of my maintenance needs. Went there last minute today and even though they were close to closing they still took me in for a detail service. The detail manager did an awesome job on my vehicle by removing all the pet hair in it. The prices were very competitive and their monthly memberships are great. I am a member and get my car washed at this Cobblestone at least once per month. Last month they helped me get a pen mark off one of my leather seats and today they were able to remove some very sticky tree sap without discovering the car. I normally go to the Kyrene and Baseline location and after today that will be the ONLY location I go to. My visit started off fine got pulled up to the check-in area- was quickly asked how my day was? What scent I wanted in my car? Any thing extra today? My son and I went to the waiting area and my name was actually called a lot faster than normal. Went out to get my vehicle- I had to get the attention of the gentleman wiping down the car next to mine to give him my claim ticket. I could have just easily got in and drove away. When we got in I had to go through the usual of putting things back where they belong, adjusting the mirrors, moving my seat back into place. But I hadn't even been in my car for 1 minute and I had the employee driving the vehicle behind me honking- so I intentionally took my time readjusting everything and noticed that my cell phone mount was missing from my vent clip. This guy then got out of the car and told me I needed to move and if I needed to do anything to my car I could do ot somewhere else--- I DONT THINK SO!!!! I cant drive if the seat causes the steering wheel to be all up in my boobs because its pulled all the way forward. Also if all my mirrors have been moved I need to adjust them so I can see where I am going. Then if something's missing- I want to know where it's at. I wish I would have gotten this jerks name. I am so annoyed that I was tempted to go inside and just cancel my fast pass- not like theres a Cobblestone near me. I drive out of my way to go there. I just left because I know me and probably would have had some very unkind words to share with someone who wasn't even the problem. So I had a soda explode in my car, from the heat & I went to cobblestone because it's close by work and I knew my friend had went and she was disappointed , but I had given it a chance because I didn't think it would be to hard to get it out because it was fresh it had just happened. So I get there and he says it would be 50$ for the interior roof, and he said for an extra 40$ he would clean my seats and doors since I had soda all over them too, but I had thought to myself well I'll just save the 40$ and clean it myself, but I let them do it because I knew they'd polish my leather. They brought my car back my seats were still dusty not cleaned at all. My roof still had spots that were visible and ones they missed completely. I stopped the guy about my seats and he argued I didn't pay to have my seats cleaned just my interior roof. Which was total BS if I pay 85$ you better clean my seats. So he brings it back and cleans my seats in like 10 minutes. Very poorly done. I request a manager who literally does nothing for me. There is soda still on my dash he slowly just starts to wipe. Still missing spots. I literally wanted to grab the cloth and do it for him. This place does not care about good service. Just collecting money. He then tells me they really don't clean interior on the roof because of liability because it can have the top droop. So cool. I could of potentially damaged it even more doing this. I should of known better then to go here because when I do the diamond wash I'm always disappointed. Bottom story is this place is good for a basic wash and an oil change. That's it. This carwash gets the exterior job done nice and quickly, and I frequently come because the location is convenient. I honestly cannot "see" the difference between the supreme wash and the ultimate, so going with supreme can save you a few bucks :) My one complaint is that they DO NOT do a good job on the interior (dusting the dashboard, etc.). After several visits, I have yet to receive a nice interior wipe down. On the upside, the place is always nice and clean, and the staff are very friendly. read more

Tried this place because my usual car wash (Beverly Hills Car Wash in Tempe) was mysteriously closed on a Saturday with no explanation on their voicemail. That does not engender loyalty...but I digress. Cobblestone did the same job by hand of the interior and exterior for way less money AND a free coupon for an exterior wash in the next 7 days should you car get sullied by a monsoon dust storm or something.
