Usually I order a red pizza with old world pepperoni and garlic crust, and a white pizza with banana peppers and Italian sausage. I do ask for extra sauce on both, and balance it out by requesting they be cooked "well done." Haven't been disappointed with that formula yet.

That's Marco's for me, among a few other, but Marco's is literally the one that pops up all the time, but is not around me. If I am being honest, this was a bit of a special trip for me, especially since I knew I could be tasting some of that pizza soon. I followed GPS here and thought I was at the wrong place at first. Because when I did so, I pulled up to what was once a Family Video store. Marco's took up a portion of the store. I had used the app prior to coming here to order ahead of time, that would equate to less time waiting and I could finally have that pizza in my hands. I walked inside and it is a rather small place. Mostly looking like a carry out establishment. There were a few tables, so I assume some may want to order in and eat here. When I showed up, my order wasn't quite ready and I did have a little bit of a wait. There was one other customer in with me who appeared to be a walk in customer. Watching this happen Marco's is a little like Little Caesar's. You walk in, order and have a quick pizza delivered to your hands. My pizza was finally done and I happily exited the store to my car and opened that box to a bit of disappointment. See, when I ordered I went with the pepperoni pizza. On their commercials it appears that the pepperoni form those little cups that capture the pepperoni grease. I know it's not good for you, but I just wanted to try it. All I ended up getting was a regular cheese pizza. Even though I was disappointed that didn't stop me from eating that pizza. It wasn't bad, kind of on par with the other chain pizza restaurants. For those that did not have the chance to try Marco's yet, it is a square-ish pizza rather than round. The amount of cheese on the pizza was impressive and, if they were around me, would probably be a favorite for a quick meal on some nights. Did it live up to my expectations? Kind of, I am happy that I was finally able to give a try.

In my opinion they have one of the best white pizzas in town. Kind of basic but whatever they do, the taste is outstanding. Their pizza crust is usually perfectly baked and is fresh. It's just cheese and whatever seasonings they put on it and a little bit of olive oil and voilà, you have a great slice! We also had a pepperoni pizza from there yesterday and it to was great. The sauce is good, the right amount of cheese and they put the pepperoni on top of the cheese instead of underneath which allows it to crisp up. Damn tasty pie. They also offer several different deli meats, salads and sandwiches. Their fried fish sandwich with fries is an excellent choice during Lent. Big piece of fish, perfectly fried and flaky. It does not disappoint. Lastly, they offer baked goods like cupcakes and the like. They are a perfect ending for dessert and will please the tastebuds. If ever in the area, give this place a visit.
