Amazing wings and great service. Parmesan Garlic Buffalo wings were just enough heat to feel the burn but taste the garlic parm. The heat sneaks up but just right amount of burn. Cooked crispy to order. Called while on way to let me know order was ready. Second try was as excellent as first and had to right a review. I like to flaunt my OG status when it comes to Cockadoodle Dan's because I've been enjoying these wings since he was making them out of his house. As far as the wings go, they don't get much better than this. They aren't super huge but I'm not a fan of big gross wings so these are perfect. The sauces are also perfection, my favorite being the Buffalo garlic parm. Boyfriend and I wanted to give their cheesesteaks a try yesterday, which I guess was National cheesesteak day? I think this place ended up getting a little overwhelmed because the cheesesteaks didn't overly impress. I've seen pictures of their cheesesteaks on other days and they looked a lot more impressive than what we got yesterday. I later learned they ran out of ingredients shortly after we ordered so I suspect they were trying to stretch what they did have. Also, they put ketchup on my boyfriend's cheesesteak despite the fact that he didn't ask for it, and forgot my onions. However they were very happy to rectify the situation the next day and the cheesesteak we received the next day were WAY better than the previous ones. I think Cockadoodle Dan's will be a new favorite for lots of people once they iron out the kinks. I'll certainly be back! read more

My first time here and I am not impressed. I have heard great reviews on the wings and cheesesteaks. I ordered a large cheesesteak with fried onions and it was excellent. I also ordered a large hoagie and the roll was rock hard to the point you could not bite through it. Lastly and most disappointing were the wings. So here's where I'm at. I'll be totally honest. The first time I got food from here it was excellent. The wings were a good size and fried perfectly, and the sauces were excellent as well. As of late, besides the fact that it's really hard to get through on the phone and even when you do get through they put you on hold to address in store customers for 5-10 minutes until you either hang up or they forget you were even on the phone at all and just randomly hang up on you, the wings have shrunken to the point where my wife and I wonder what small ass chickens they are pulling these wings off of. Are we eating the wings of baby chicks? Besides that, we have pulled out at least 3 chicken tips or HANDS (not edible and super weird looking) instead of wings on multiple occasions. Had to google the anatomy of a chicken so I knew what I bit into before I got too nervous. Can't eat the tips and it's messed up that we got less wings because someone can't tell the difference between a wing and a tip! Someone in the back is clearly not thorough enough when cutting up the wings. The sauce distribution is also way off. They fill the container with sauce to the point where you can't even see the teeny wings at the bottom. Furthermore, on multiple occasions I've observed employees with masks below their noses or not being worn at all. The flavor is there but everything else turned me off of this new spot. read more

We had heard a lot of people say this place has good cheesesteaks so decided to try one the other night. It was the worst, and most bizarre, cheesesteak I've ever had. Look, I'm born and raised South Jersey so I know a good or bad cheesesteak when I see it. The thing was dripping with grease so badly that when we unwrapped it, a river of grease flowed off the wrapper onto our kitchen floor. The bread was as if they had taken the roll and submerged it in oil for a few minutes. When we tried to pick the sandwich up off the wrapper, the bread fell apart into our hands. 1. i ordered fried pickles it was not good and looked like they cut up a single pickle usually when we get them there are way more. 2. we asked for ranch and payed for it didn't get it. 3. we got a 25 piece and 7 piece with different sauces and they completely messed that up when the person had taken our order very clearly. 4 and most important they DO NOT COMPETELY CLEAN THEIR WINGS. we saw a few that had the feathers still on them. absolutely do not recommend it was not worth the time or the money. read more

Bad business and customer service from the manager. He might have to take a business class and learn how to run a business. He was very rude and unprofessional. I never written a g a bad review on a business, but he really messed up on this one. I placed a big order and got the wrong food. I went back after they told me that they were going to replace the food for making a mistake. When i got there, the manager said that they could not replace the food and that I would have to pay. Finally made it over from Philly to check this spot out. I must say, I will definitely be coming back. Probably the best Buffalo chicken cheesesteak I've ever eaten. None of that bs frozen chicken chip steak, this was the real deal chunks of chicken breast. Wasn't overly sauced and perfectly blended cheese. Cheesesteaks were great but that was the only good thing about the place. First we were overcharged from the menu they have on their own Facebook page. They did fix it but made us feel like it was our fault about the mix up. The wings were small dried and burnt. Seemed like the oil was burnt and old that they used and made the wings taste even more burnt. They were coated with almost so sauce at all, and with how dry they were it would have helped. Maybe it was an off night but I wouldn't take the chance of getting wings here again, cheesesteaks yeah definitely they are very good. My brother kept talking about this place. I looked at him kind of strange like what and then caught on to it and I said "I don't want a refund I just want my actual order "CHICKEN cheesesteak" he said "you guys ordered Cheesesteak"and I said no we didn't because my family it's not a fan of the beef but I'm pickier than everyone and I refused to eat the wrong order" and he said "it's $11," I said "I have to pay for it?". Please, please... Someone please get rid of the left handed cook. A cheese steak or hoagie roll should be cut right handed. The smaller section of the roll should be toward the right hand. That means the person eating the cheese steak or hoagie, should start eating the sandwich from left, toward the right smaller size of the roll.
