You know your coffee is going to be good when I Italian is behind the bar and making it that's all you need to know!

    Lattes are sinfully delicious.

This is a great place to get your morning coffee before starting your day. Both locals and tourists come here. The reason? The great, friendly atmosphere and the reasonable prices. When you walk in, the baristas greet you cheerfully and make you feel like you're part of the community. They have delicious pastries, but we always order lattes to start our day. It's conviently located in the heart of Yorkville.

My go to coffee shop in the Yorkville neighbourhood. I go here daily on my break for my coffee & snack. They have a great pistachio cookie + cranberry energy ball. Their americano coffee is always excellent!

A hidden gem that offers reasonably priced drinks which will definitely hit the spot! Also they open late, which is always a plus.

After some shopping in Yorkville, I was craving a decent espresso that wasn't your typical Starbucks chain. Thankfully Coco Espresso Bar on Bellair Street hit the spot. They serve a great espresso which pairs nicely with Nonna Lemon biscuits and biscotti.

My friend got one of their banana bread drinks - if you like the taste of hojicha, this was particularly strong which I personally enjoyed! Love how the store also has sections where it is like a little market selling local goods and always fun to see the dogs that are sitting outside. The prices are a little expensive (my refresher before tax was $7.5) but typical for what you'd pay in Toronto for a fun drink, from what I've seen.

I'd absolutely come here to get some work done if I was able to get a seat. One thing I really love is that they sell handmade goods from local artists and host craft nights, it feels very community driven and adds such a fun, unique touch to the café. Drinks I tried: Maple Goguma Latte - Slightly nutty, lightly sweet, and super comforting. I added a shot of espresso, which made it perfectly balanced and not too sweet. Dalgona Latte - A really fun drink with great texture. Just make sure to stir it well since the sweetness settles at the bottom. They're known for their creative, seasonal drink menu, and I'm already excited to come back to try what they release next season. Definitely a must-visit if you love cozy cafés, unique drinks, and supporting local artists.

Apparently this location is a laptop free zone, offering an incredibly welcome oasis from the hustle and bustle of financial district. Today I ordered a cortado. Before you even drink it, the fragrant coffee smell hits you. A bit sweet and almost fruity. When drinking it, the flavours amplify and provide an overall sense of calm, a breath of fresh air. It doesn't just feel like a regular old coffee but that you can take your time with it, like having a conversation with an old friend, it is meant to be savoured. It said established in 1919, so we thought it's a good sign it's been in business over a century; although not this location specifically. Their history in the 20th century was that they started in Berlin, Germany in 1919, but they were a Jewish family who ended up immgrating to Israel in 1933, opening their store there, and expanded locations throughout Israel. Their history in Toronto & North America (including some in the US) is much more recent since opening in 2017. Unfortunately, my closest is New York City; none in Maryland or DC area. This location is in busy downtown Toronto. We sat outside on their big patio area as the weather was warm and could enjoy the view of the buildings, people, cars, etc. Server was friendly answering our questions. I ended up getting an egg benedict with salmon in a croissant. It was creative and delicious take on egg benedict. The only issue was it was messy to eat in the croissant, but I didn't care as it was so delicious. My girlfriend got a Belgian waffle with blueberries, whipped cream, etc. It was unique and very good & sweet too as I tried a bite. Overall, this was a 5-star experience with great food, service, & atmosphere.

Service: It was not great. We sat for a while and no one took attention (we were outside and they were busy but no excuse for them -- they should do better). We had folks come in and out and were somewhat nonchalant and not attentive. Food: This was the great part of the experience. - Berries and Granola with Greek Yogurt: My brother in law got this an he devoured it and said it was great. - Farmers Breakfast: My wife got this and she LOVED it. She went back to get their Halwah Latte (which she said was just OK) - Egg white Omlette Skillet: I customized my food and it was good -- for reference I've had better only because the cheese was feta and it was unclear that this was the only option as I don't love feta. Also I'm pretty sure while I asked for egg whites there was normal egg (i.e., eggs). If you order egg white make sure the server hears you. They screwed this up for me. This is why I'm giving it three stars -- I could have made a stink but didn't think it was necessary to do so. All in all -- I'd recommend this spot to folks but don't go there thinking the service will be great.

The café itself is beautiful and has a very modern, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere. It was extremely busy during my visit, which is always a good sign. Because of the rush, a few tables still had dishes waiting to be cleared, making it a little difficult for some customers to find a place to sit. The tables are also fairly close together, but that's understandable given the downtown Toronto setting. The smoked salmon croissant was the highlight of my meal. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with ingredients that worked really well together. I would absolutely order it again. My only disappointment was the latte. It looked beautiful and tasted good, but it was served warm rather than hot. Since our breakfast arrived about 10 minutes after our drinks, my coffee had become even cooler by the time I started eating, which took away from the experience.
