I don't understand how people get smalls at CoCo it's literally two sips.... i'm a huge fan of coco..i feel like there drinks are always consent...aspect for this locations...since this place is always busy and the hours are open late compare to the other bubble tea shops...there's always people ordering and forming a huge line late at night.. i was here around 8 pm and it was very busy and took a long time to get one hot black sugar latte drink with bubbles ...i asked for hot they gave me a cold latte loaded with ice...I personally didn't mind since they offer to remake my beverage...but they basically microwave my drink in a hot latte cup...how do i know this... well...the cup was warm but inside i could still taste the bits of ice that was melted in my drink... if they had just made me a brand new drink i wouldn't have been so disappointed... i was looking forward to drinking some hot tea with chewy bubbles .... it still tasted good despite of the mistake...really wish they weren't so sloppy with orders...BUT the place seemed clean for a corner shop and if you like drinking tea late at night I suppose this is as good a place as any.... read more

Hands down the best bubble tea I've ever had. Tons of assorted flavors of bubble tea. I wish it was converted into a sit down and sip on your tea as long as you please. But, it's a stand where you order and go on your way. Perfect for my commute back home though. I like how it is prepackaged too. In Flushing, this is the ranking: CoCo - Comebuy - TenRen - Quickly's - Kungfu - Chatime So CoCo is officially my new favorite bubble tea place. Love their pudding milk teas, and love how the make their drinks with Yakult. Fresh and creamy and so yummy! I went to the CoCo in Taiwan as well, and it tastes exactly the same here as it does there. The only reason I took off a star is because the entire place is about as big as my bathroom, and there's no place to sit. I hope they open up another one that has seating! read more

I like grabbing Coco Milk Tea and coffee jelly with 25% sugar on my way to Target or on my way to the 7 train. The coffee jelly is a bit sweet, so I find that I don't need that much sugar in the Milk Tea. Without coffee jelly, I like 50% sugar in my Milk Tea. Coco is very accommodating of sugar levels. That said, if you have a sweet tooth they can take care of that for you. There's a lot of staff behind this location's counter, but that doesn't always ensure fast service. Fast service can be a hit or miss. This location is super small. The customer area is maybe 3-yd x 2-yds, but that may be generous. You order, pay, shuffle outside, wait for your drink, shuffle back in, pick up drink and then shuffle back outside. Because this location is on the corner, you nearly have to yell over the traffic intersection noise. My favorite Coco location is in the basement of the Shopping Mall with Target and Bed Bath and Beyond. read more

I'm a big fan of Coco and prefer them over other bubble tea places because their drinks are always consistent and their customer service is good! What I'm not a fan of is this particular location-Actually it doesn't have to do with their drink or their staff. It's actually because of the physical location of the store. This store is located in the intersection of Main Street and Roosevelt Ave. If you know Flushing, you will know this is the heart of Flushing, area with the heaviest foot and vehicle traffic and on top of that, the store is located right above the 7 train station. and with the ordering window wide open, I can't even imagine how must dust/dirt and contaminant gets into those drinks/ ingredients.. I understand it's a convenient location but hygiene should also be an important aspect to consider when it comes to food. With that said, the drinks produced here were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful! Just remember order the 2 "cold" lady and the 3 "hot" guys and you will be happy and satisfy!! read more

I just love their mango green tea it's the absolute best. It's not too sweet it has a slight I don't want to say bitter after taste but the aftertaste is not sweet. It's sweet then not sweet. Disrespectful staff, I mean disrespectful. The employees refused to serve me because I didn't have on a physical mask, apparently my shirt coving my face isn't considered a "face covering". Mind you the signage displayed on the front of the "Covid protectant" plastic said "face covering, required" not Mask required. So the employee just walks away. Mind you there was a lady in the back with no "face covering". Nevertheless after going across the street to the pharmacy to purchase a physical mask I placed my order. It was just about $20. I proceeded to pay with a $50 bill and the employee says "we don't take 50s or 100s" and just walks away again! So again across the street for change for a $50. There is no signage saying that they do not accept any bills larger then 20. The bubble tea is mediocre at best. The staff are probably the worst I've ever dealt with in the food service industry in my life. Please don't waste your time here, even if it's the only place open. read more

Although it is small and cramped, this place makes real good bubble tea. The choices aren't the most wide-ranging, but it's cheap and it's tasty. Not a lot of places can make matcha latte (green tea) bubble tea well. It's definitely light years better than Quickly's. It also is authentically Asian. Coco is a huge chain in China and delivers quality in America as well. They have pudding and all the jellies for those, who like me, don't like tapioca. The grapefruit drink is my all-time favorite drink in the world. I will make sure I get this drink every time I pass coco for the rest of my life. Taste just like grapefruits! What is Yakult? If you've ever been in an Asian grocery store, it's those deliciously yummy little bottles in the refrigerator section, filled with a cream-colored, sweet-tasting, mlik-like product. But since the store has options which are harder to find elsewhere, I always try to take advantage of the opportunity to be adventurous - and I'd suggest you do the same! I've had taro bubble tea here once and I feel like they water it down because it doesn't have the same taste as the other place I go to. Also my tea wasn't exactly purple it had a white/vanilla look to it. The staff is kind of rude, they can be nicer about seeing your receipt. I was in the mood for some bubble tea after dinner at the food court and decided to stop at Coco. There was nobody online, so I walked right up to the window and ordered a milk tea. I paid for it and stepped to the side and waited. The guy at the counter then told me I need to wait at this other window, which was two steps from where I was standing. I looked around and still there was nobody else waiting for tea and took two steps to my left where he then handed me my drink. New favorite bubble tea place!! This has been the most fresh, delicious, and good quality bubble tea I've had in NYC. Now I understand the hype from all my friends from who traveled to Asia. They were generous with the tapioca, and are extremely quick at preparing your drinks. Although this place is tiny, literally a little closet space on the corner of a busy street, I ordered and was out in 5 minutes despite the long line. My favorite part about this place is that they use real yakult (yogurt drink) straight from the bottle for their drinks. I enjoyed my Mango Yakult with Tapioca a lot and I was extremely surprised yet excited to find that it wasn't too overbearingly sweet with sugar (and unnecessary calories). While on my way back to the 7 to head home, I needed to get a drink before I left this beautiful land of Asian-ness. This place is perfect, right by the train station, and quick! I liked it because it was literally a take and go place, which is what I was looking for at the time. This place actually is a hole in the wall, its just the drink machines and the workers. No places to sit, so if you did happen to want to chill, it would probably be pretty difficult. Cash only. Coco reminds me of Taiwan so there's always a fondness of it when I see it in the States. It's slightly different than their Asian counterparts where you can adjust sweetness levels and the like but I'm glad the signature drinks are still there. My absolute favorite is Three Guys which is milk tea with boba, grass jelly and pudding. Sadly when I visited, they just ran out of grass jelly so I had to go without that ingredient. This is the smallest location I've ever seen with very small standing room. Once you place your order, you feel awkward trying to find some place to stand so you aren't in the way. it is conveniently located right next to the subway station. The staff is efficient and the line moves fairly quickly. read more

I always get a large Red Bean T.M. (tapioca milk) $4.50 My other favorite is the regular Green Tea with boba or Caramel Chocolate with boba. It's a boba shop where you order through a window. (Like a pedestrian drive through) :D There's no place to sit down or anything but excellent location at the corner. They are fast and efficient! The drinks are good! Try it out!!! Flushing has turned into Bubble Tea Central. The tea here is on average. The biggest down side, it is really a hole in the wall on the busiest corner of Flushing. Also the number of cigarette smokers outside the shop, make it an unpleasant place to stand in and wait for your tea. Also all the other shops offer a BOGO throughout the day. read more

CoCo probably has one of the best locations for boba/bubble tea in Flushing. They're located right on the corner of Main and Roosevelt across from the giant AT&T. Awesome place to grab some quick bubble tea and head off onto your day. My favorite is the hot Taro Milk Green Tea with boba, I typically ask for no sugar/less sugar because it is already sweet. In the warmer seasons I'll go with the traditional Boba tea or Green Tea Yakult bubble tea. If you don't like it to be too sweet like me, then I would always go less sugar. Their service is fairly quick, I've never had to wait more than 2 minutes to grab my drink which is why I like to come here for a quick grab and go. Jasmine milk tea with boba. I'm a big milk tea lover. My favorite place still lies in NorCal - Tea Station. I go to Saint Alps in the city to get my fix. It's not the same as Tea Station, but it's a good sub. CoCo and Kung Fu are really similar. They both use creamer. They both have a really vast menu. They have funky surprises. The only different is the "pudding." I'm bias I guess since I didn't try the pudding. I just thing pudding in milk tea is very odd for some reason... But I did try their Jasmine milk tea with boba. The bobas were soft and delicious - better than Saint Alps I have to admit. I was able to ask for "less sweet" which helped, because I always thought creamer gave a horrible, overpowering sweetness that masks the tea taste. I like tea taste rather than creamer/milk. So asking for less sweet made it tolerable for me. All-in-all I wouldn't go out of my way to get boba from here, but it's tolerable. Note: there is a COCO near flatiron and gramercy area! read more

I've been to four CoCo locations (SkyMall on College Pt. Blvd, 23rd St, the one in the 40s, and this one). This one is the absolute smallest. No more than three people can stand inside, so this isn't a place for winter refuge. Coco's quality is consistent throughout their locations. I've never had bubble tea anywhere else (well besides a a travesty at some shop on Greenpoint Ave & 45th), but based on reviews, I think I'm being spoiled and will view all other bubble teas as sub-par. It is a little pricey, but order it without ice for maximum enjoyment. Also, with as sweet as they make it, if you let all the ice melt in and sneak it into a movie theater, it'll be chilled and still tasty. I usually order a Two Ladies, as I'm not a bubble lover and I LOVE the coffee taste melding with the sweet milky tea. Someday I'm going to give in and have a fresh mile and red beans. I ordered it once here, finally getting up the courage to try it...and they had run out of milk. I use to come here a lot last summer since my job was by here. This place is very tiny and small. They have limited drinks. They have about less than 10 drinks on the menu if I remember. The pricing here is pretty expensive compare to other bubble tea spots. It's about $2.50 for a small drink and if you want tapioca, jelly or other toppings it would cost you extra. I tried everything on the menu and I must say the mango yakult is my favorite. The service her is pretty nice. The people are nice and friendly. But they're slow at making drinks. read more

Coco sadly disappointed me, even though it as recommended to me by my friend who claimed it as a good chain in New York. DRINK: I got a red bean bubble tea, cold, medium size. I would say that the tea was weak, the ice was too much, and overall was too sweet for my taste. The tapioca and the red bean were cooked well, but I found myself sad at the end. SERVICE: Fast. Order in English or Mandarin. I'm used to my California bubble tea places with percent sugar and percent ice that keeps me a happy camper. Why doesn't any place have peach green tea?!?! It was my staple go-to drink when I'm in California. One star off for the phone conversation I had with the employee (to confirm their hours on black friday). She sounded so disinterested. It made us laugh at how ridiculous her replies were. However, it was 12AM and we needed to take advantage of being in Queens/Flushing. When we arrived, we were surprised at how many people were waiting. It's almost like an outdoor stand. There aren't any spaces inside to sit- they do all the "cooking" inside and call out the order numbers for pick up. Prices were super cheap, considering we were in NY. I got the passionfruit green tea with boba. Boba wasn't sweet but it was still soft and chewy. It was on the sweeter side, but it was still pretty good! I recommend getting your tea with less ice. I have tried almost all of the Yakult Bubble tea. Not only is it one of the lower calorie options (according to the menu) but in my opinion, it is one of the most refreshing! It has a lot of sugar though... Mango Yakult: Best flavor, especially if you like mango. Green tea Yakult: They mix green tea with yakult- it's alright, the green tea taste isn't as prominent. Kinda found myself wanting the intense flavor of the mango yakult bubble tea. Grapefruit Yakult: They mix grapefruit juice with yakult, it's very citrusy and more expensive than the mango/green tea Yakult but isn't as good. Lemon Yakult: I'm scared to try this. It sounds so bad. Yakult is a probiotic dairy based drink, so with lemon?! I dunno, I'll have to try this last, will update soon! Get them with tapioca bubbles! read more
