BEWARE. I never write reviews, but this shady business deserves this one. Let me walk you through the worst nail experience I've ever had. First, I booked my appointment for the salon across the street from this one. The lady outside this salon LIED to me telling me it was actually their salon (just the beginning of their lies, allegedly). By the time I sat down and realized I was in the wrong place, it was too late. The pedicure was fine. So when it came to my dip manicure, I had a little faith, despite all the other 1-star reviews on here. I showed them a pic showing what I wanted: neutral sheer chrome nails with an almond shape. I looked away for a few minutes and to my horror, I looked back at nails full of chunky glitter glue-like dip powder with a pink base. The man gaslit me the whole time, telling me to relax, the shape would be better later, and that it would look like the picture in the end. When he put the top coat on, and it did not in fact magically turn into chrome nails, but what someone described to me in horror as "toasted coconut topping" nails. Oh and to top it off, he cut my skin under my thumb and it bled, and just didn't disinfect it. When I told them it looked nothing at all like the picture I showed them, they said "it doesn't always look like the picture," left the other hand unfinished, and charged me the full $45 for the set. The salon I was supposed to go to all along (way to go, directionally challenged self) saved my nails. You know it's bad when the nail techs fixing your nails are asking to take pics of this horrific mani. Allegedly, they have to fix the emergencies of T Nails & Spa regularly. They told me that a customer allegedly brought in a gift certificate for their salon to T Nails on accident. T Nails allegedly said they would honor it and that it's their salon, did the service. Then allegedly said it actually wasn't their salon and charged them the full price. Lots of great alternatives in the area, just save yourself the stress of dealing with this sham of a place. read more

I wish I would've read these reviews before I walked into this place to get a fill on a perfectly good set of nails that I had done somewhere else. They messed it up so bad. I had acrylic all over my all over my cuticles they were lumpy and grumpy. They didn't even take up all of the paint from the place. I had them done before nor did they ask me what I want it this time they just started to use a powder that was the same color as the halfway taken off polish. It's only been two days and I had to go and get them taken off because I just could not stand it anymore. Very manipulative greedy people. read more

I went here as I live close by and needed my nails done for an upcoming trip. Got medium length acrylic nails. My nails were done and looked great, good color and fast service. Since I normally don't do my nails at a salon I asked how long they would last. I got a little bit longer than past the finger, so not too long. I was told they would last for weeks and sometimes up to a month. Within 3 days into my vacation they started to chip, chunks off the side. I had to clip one nail all the way as short as they would go to the skin because the break was so bad! Soon enough 4 others chipped and now I have short nails again after only 1 week! Hidden gem! It's rarely busy, they are friendly, great prices and do a great job! They give great massage (a must for me) - I even did the add on massage and loved it. I took my 3 yr old here and they were great with her. Gave her a "pedi/mani" with coconuts on the nails and were able to get her to sit still! They also have tv which helps. I decided to try this place because their prices were good and they were friendly on the phone. I'll admit I was about 10 minutes late for my appointment, but they didn't seem to mind and there was no one else there. The cuticle cutting was good and he took his time on it, but when it came to painting and the Shellac itself, it was so rushed. People started walking in and they were understaffed. It was extremely sloppy and now 5 of my nails have bubbles, probably from not being under the dryer long enough. Also, the edges weren't cleaned at all so I was picking the glue off afterward and it was tearing at my skin. On top of that, they rushed me out. I was sitting under the UV lamp and the lady said, "Ok you pay now" and I got my card out. Then she "reminded" me I still had to pay while my card was sitting in plain sight. They were definitely too busy for the 2 people they had doing nails. I won't be going back. The only reason for 2 stars is the price--but then I guess you get what you pay for. read more

The person mocked me for my nail choice and did a horrible job. They rushed me though the process and I felt very disrespected and disappointed in the result. I like this nail salon. It is very easy to get in to, not the fanciest place, but SO much better than all of the other places I've been to around town and elsewhere. The prices are fantastic, so I always over-tip partially because of that, but really because they do such a good job. My gel manicures come out perfectly, other local places make them too thick and they pop off quickly. My nails last SO much longer when I get them done here and I get compliments (I don't really care a ton about compliments, but it does show that people notice they did a good job). Tina does the greatest job with cuticles as well and is a perfectionist. Her husband and another lady there also are very good. I have had great conversations and good energy with all three of them. Tina and her husband have great personalities, they are good people. Some people don't understand Tina's personality because she is so vibrant, and she speaks her mind, in a good way. (I would much rather have that than people who totally ignore you or don't care. They care). My boss and his sister have been going to T nails for ages, that is why I started. She even helps walk him out to the car and opens the door. This is a totally comfortable place, they do a good job and it is not like the cattle call places elsewhere. I love Tina's Nails & Spa! Tina, Johnny, and Mai are so friendly and hardworking. They really care about their customers and they're always willing to fix prematurely chipped nails. They have an assortment of colors (gel and regular). They're prices can't be beat. I hate writing bad reviews but this was not a good experience. They ran out of hot water (not their fault) and filled up my tub with a 7/11 cup. Like other comments, the tools did not look clean. I saw her take the callus scrubber sponge out of a trash can!!! When I said something she got defensive. Asked me every 2 minutes if "I was okay" which made it a very not relaxing experience. I kept turning off my massage chair and she kept turning it back on. They have great deals but unfortunately will not be returning. read more

This place is awful. The man and woman were both very friendly however there seemed to be a language barrier since there were a handful of issues I ran into. I saw their special for a spa pedi/mani for $25 so I couldn't pass that up! When I first entered and was looking at the colors, I commented that they all look shimmery. These were OPI colors that I've used before and I know they do not have that glitter/shimmer in them. My guess is that these bottles are extremely old. They also had wet and wild, pure ice and other shitty, non-salon quality polishes. Anyways, she guaranteed me that the colors don't turn out shimmery so I picked a gray OPI polish and got in the chair. Well it was shimmery, and she kept denying it. They did offer to change the color if I didn't like it (obviously I didn't) and I picked one of the few nail polishes that didn't have shimmer. I kept the same shimmery color on my toes because I just wanted to get out of there. The woman kept saying "don't worry, be happy" when I would do/say anything. It was beyond annoying. I would be happy if she stopped saying that! I asked her 3 times if the callous treatment was included in the $25 spa pedicure package and she kept saying "yeah honey, don't worry, be happy". Then when she charges me at the end she says $31. I said "you told me it was included!" I'm not a cheapskate either but this place was just disgusting and I couldn't wait to get out of there. To top it all off, there was a dead, cooked full chicken (her lunch) sitting below the TV. Gross. read more

Johnny and Tina are a little crazy, but their heart is in the right place :) Tina isn't the greatest at doing nails, but most of the time they have some other ladies working there and they do a pretty good job. Michelle, one of thheir employees that works on weekends gives an amazing foot massage!! They told me that my credit card wasnt running through for the tips, and mind you, I tip VERY well when I appreciate the service I get from a place. I am shocked to see so many negative comments on here! I had the most wonderful experience here. Prices are amazing and I received the best gel french manicure I have ever had. I NEVER get my gels to last me a full two weeks and these stayed absolutely perfect for 2.5 weeks! Also the french looked amazing, sometimes other places it can be a little too thick or just not natural looking, but my french from here was my absolute favorite!
