Pretty good if you want some freshly made coconut shrimp. I don't eat fried stuff like this often, but when I do, I prefer it to be freshly made and not the stuff you can buy on the freezer aisle of the grocery store. This place really delivers on the shrimp. You can order them Ala carte so you don't have to get a full meal of them. The sauces are great too. The service is always prompt and available if you have any questions. There is paid back music playing which makes the vide really nice. My only thought for room for improvement is the "patio". It's just two picnic tables in the parking lot. It did not make me feel like ohana. read more

OMG I had a great experience! I can finally understand the 5 star reviews and HYPE. My first experience at another location didn't go so great. I'm glad I had another chance to try out the food. My food was cooked to perfection. The coco shrimp with the sweet chili dipping sauce was really yummy. The lemon herb shrimp were delicious and I loved the lemon taste. The sweet and spicy shrimp had just enough spice/heat. I really enjoyed the sampler and was truly HAPPY and satisfied with all the flavors. I love the salad with the poppyseed dressing. The dressing is so damn GOOD! The dressing is magical and makes my mouth feel JOY! They need to sell this dressing in stores. I chose more salad and less rice. The rice is good and even better with the sweet chili sauce mixed in. The inside is a cool, fun, chill, but relaxed and laid back vibe. Finally tried Coco Shrimp, and it was tasty. The restaurant itself is much nicer than Glory's used to be, and so is the staff! We had a pair of Samplers, I tried their Spicy & Butter Garlic. My wife had the Coco, Butter & Lemon Herb. All flavors were great, and so was the rice & salad. Their manager was really nice, when we told her about our first date @ the original restaurant almost 20 years ago. I was really excited to try this place because I loved the shrimp in Hawaii. Service was great! Someone was standing in front and explained the menu to us and also checked in on us once we got the food. There's a drive through and the vibe is very fun and tropical. My problem is the food itself. I got the garlic butter shrimp and it was kind of inedible since there was SOOO much butter on the rice. It tasted like salted butter as well because it was so salty. I could not eat it and took it home to mix in more white rice. Even after mixing more white rice in, I STILL did not enjoy it, seemed impossible to soak up all the butter and salt. The coco shrimp is definitely better but also just tasted like generic coconut shrimp (honestly pretty similar to costcos frozen coconut shrimp). The restaurant has a Hawaiian vibe with surfboats that hang from the ceiling. They offer shrimp plates which include rice and salad. Saw this place open for a few weeks now and finally got to try it. I did a pick up order and it was easy. They got my order ready really quickly, like less than 10 minutes and this was during the start of lunch time. It comes with salad, which I requested they box separately. I didn't know what the salad came with but I know for next time to try it with their poppy vinegarette. On to the main course. I got the sampler option. Which is nice because it let's you try 2-3 different flavors. I got the spicy, coco, and garlic butter. In that exact order is how I would rank them. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. They're pretty regular-sized. The spicy one was basically Cajun and it was delicious. The coco is their "original" or what they're known for and it was good. It comes with a sweet and spicy sauce for dipping. Love to try it at the restaurant as I'm sure it's more crispy. The garlic butter was meh. It was a little bland in terms of salt but the butter and garlic flavor was there. There was too much sauce from this one that covered the rice and I didn't like that. Rice was cooked perfectly too.
