A little hidden gem. Service was great and the food was very flavorful. Give it a shot.

    Chicken Tamal

The chips and sauce is great, but the last time I went, the rice was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Their food is usually good, and that was my second visit. Customer service has improved a bit, but they still have issues with dirty utensils. They need to ensure that the utensils are completely clean.

I got their Plato Típico, the portions were a good size and it's a great option for sharing. The pupusas and cortido were fantastic and hands down the best part of the meal, savory and busting with flavor. The chicken tamal was pretty good but could've used a bit more chicken and there was a big chunk of potato in it and the corn tamal should be offered as a dessert with a sweet sauce. It was kind of dry and a little boring on it's own. Overall the food was still very good, the restaurant is super clean and the staff is great.

    Best pupusas in town!

This is by far my favorite Salvadoran restaurant. You can't get any more authentic than this. I came here just to have 3 pupusas and every bite was worth it. The pupusas comes with two salsas and the cabbage dish (I'm not sure what its name is in Spanish). But all that is delicious! The bean and cheese is by far my favorite but the pork and cheese and plain cheese are good as well. This restaurant is located in a busy shopping plaza so it may be easy to miss. There is plenty of parking and customer service is excellent. It is a small restuarant and I noticed a lot of people ordered take out which is okay but the restaurant it self is very clean and orderly. I will always come back here for delicious Salvadoran food!!! You will not be disappointed!

My review is based off of what I have eaten so far. I got the passion fruit drink it was so refreshing. I actually got full off of the complimentary chips salsa and bean dip so by the time my sampler plate arrived I had no room for the puposa or chicken tamales but the sweet corn tamal and cream was delicious. The sweet plantain were caramelized with a little crispness around the sides and creamy on the inside very good. I have to come back later and give a proper review.

Fantastic Salvadorian cuisine. Must get the Papusas! My husband and I drive from Grapevine just for this spot!

Came to Texas for a conference and saw good reviews for this restaurant so we tried it out. In short, one of the best home-y feeling and authentic meals my partner and I have ever had. We're pescatarian and had plenty of options. Everything was fantastic - papusas, plantains (holy), tamales, fried fish (so flavorful). Met an older physician who had been coming for years and thinks this is the most authentic place. The service was also super friendly, got mega topups for our horchata. Definitely 5 stars for delicious food and friendly service in an non-pretentious environment. Wish we could have this in Canada.

Piece of glass found inside pupusas. Luckily I was not hurt or that a child found it. It was the size of a nickel with three sharp ends. The pupusas themselves had very little filling and not enough salsa was given for 23 pupusas.

Ordered the Tipico Plate: cheese and bean pupusa with coleslaw on the side for topping, one chicken Tamal, one corn tamale, fried plantain and fried cassava (think non-potato fries). All washed down with a giant cup of horchata. Dang I'm full: all of it was delicious. Wait staff are friendly and helpful, if a bit slow.

Mar y Tierra I think is the name

I don't know if I would say that's cheap... But when I got the wrap... omg it was HUGE!! I was like oh wow.. I was surprised to find that it was like a chipotle burrito. I had a promo, which definitely made it worth it. You pick the protein that you want. A few of them have an upcharge if it's not chicken. The salad looks sizeable too. Check their socials because they were also running a year end special for $6 entrees. I liked it and would come back again.

They offer a pretty good selection of salads, like Greek, Thai, Cobb, Caesar, and Ranch, as well as dressings of your choice. I like their Thai salad, which has cucumber slices, shredded carrots, romaine lettuce, and red cabbage. They are all very fresh. The dressing is actually what I like the most. It's peanuty, spicy but not too strong, with a subtle tangy and sour note. For my protein option, I've tried their chicken and tofu. The chicken is fine. I like the tofu better though, which is moist, tender, and savory. They also offer seasonal lemonade drink. I've had their cucumber mint lemonade, which is super refreshing especially on a hot Texas summer day! The service is fast. I was there one time during the peak lunch hour. The vehicle line was long, but it moved pretty quick. Give it a try if you want a quality salad at a great price!
