Another wonderful dinner. Went with another couple and they enjoyed it too. Service was great as always. Love the ambience, cozy and welcoming.

Ordered to go, entree was so so. Not the tasty entree I have experienced in the past. Service was quick and friendly staff when i arrived to pick up my order. The restaurant seemed to be semi busy for a Thursday night.

The very special cucumber salad and yellow curry chicken. Today the coconut rice was a bit gummy, but a great lunch!

This place is four star consistent. The five star review is for Happy Hour, or as I call it, after school snack. In May, the end of the school year looms large and days are long and arduous. Coconut Bay was on my radar, having just catered one of the end of the year events at school. I came in for take- out for the family, but I was starving and the $8 Happy Hour specials were calling my name. I picked up dinner to go , but treated myself to HH chicken satay and calamari. Those dishes were beautiful, delivered quickly and with amazing condiments. I love the flavors of cilantro rice wine vinegar, tamarind, fish sauce and peanut sauce. The satay had the tiniest and most delicious cucumber salad and the peanut sauce was so full of flavor and super chunky. The chicken was warm and hearty , freshly grilled and generously portioned whole pieces. The star was the blonde, crispy, greaseless calamari and that cilantro sauce had a perfect mouth puckering sour but fresh herbaceous flavor. Yum. Best all, my bill for my Happy Hour meal and my family's dinner was less than $40! Beat that! Only one other party in the restaurant, so service was pretty great too! Come before the dinner rush for a bargain and bring friends to create your own party and enjoy many dishes!

We were a party of 13 celebrating Christmas dinner here. The guys ordered the appetizers while each couple ordered their own main course. I enjoyed the Crab Rangoon but the Garden Fresh Roll appetizers were bland. The Pad Thai was alright. The Panang Chicken Curry was too spicy with huge cuts of Jalapeno peppers. The Garlic Prawns seemed half cooked and disappointing. I tried the chocolate cake and the Thai Ice Tea which were both delicious. Their dishes in the past were good but some of the new dishes we tried were not up to par. Lacking consistency. They used to give you a free Thai Ice Tea after you check in but that was discontinued,

Coconut Bay is a hidden gem with a warm, inviting vibe and stylish interior. Came during happy hour (4-6 PM) and the drink deals were solid--perfect way to unwind after work. We ordered the pineapple fried rice, chicken satay, and calamari, and every dish delivered. The pineapple rice was flavorful with the right balance of sweet and savory. The chicken satay was tender, well-marinated, and paired with a rich peanut sauce. The calamari was crispy, light, and not greasy--easily one of the better versions I've had. Service was friendly and the atmosphere felt relaxed yet elevated, great for both casual hangouts and date nights. Definitely a spot I'd come back to for both the food and happy hour value.

The food is delicious and the service was top notch, even on a busy evening when the place was packed. We had the pumpkin curry and the legendary pad Thai and both were so good!

We came here for the happy hour between 4 and 6 PM and we absolutely enjoyed every single dish that we ordered and the margaritas were amazing and the Thai iced tea was phenomenal

Greetings to all , well lm back to the Coconut Bay. It has been a while since my last visit, but I see that things have remained the same, still very dimly lit in the whole restaurant but visually comforting; street parking only. The service was great as usual, although I must say that the wait staff are on point with their menu and will politely repeat your request after taking everyone's order. We had many different Tasty dishes, l will only give pix of some of them in this review. All of our dishes were very Tasty and I will continue to come back and try get everything in the menu. Once again Coconut Bay, Nice job and keep up the good (Cooking- Work ) .

We arrived around 4pm on a Sunday and were seated right away, which was a nice start. Place is decent, can accommodate a large group if needed. The Thai iced tea was just okay--not much flavor, and it came in a surprisingly small glass (pic looks big) I finished it in about four sips. We ordered the Angel Wings, which were decent but nothing memorable. The eggplant basil and panang curry were passable, but we've definitely had better versions elsewhere. The biggest letdown was the American fried rice--it tasted like old rice mixed with vinegar. Unfortunately, no one at our table could eat it. The garlic quail was quite chewy, making it difficult to enjoy. In the end, the egg rolls turned out to be the only thing we actually enjoyed for dinner.

Been here before, actually remember to take photos this time around. Big party of 12 on a Sunday afternoon, service was fast, waiters/waitresses were attentive, and the food was great. The interior is very clean and updated, great ambiance while eating. My favorite is their roti with curry sauce, panang curry and thai iced tea! I wish their portions were a little bigger but the amount of flavor in each dish makes up for it. Highly recommend anyone trying this restaurant if in the area!

We were famished when we arrived at Coconut Bay. It was one of the only open restaurants for Thai food at 3PM. We were doing a late lunch after arriving from the airport, we were very grateful that they stay open in the afternoons! We ordered an appetizer platter that allowed us to taste eggrolls, roti, chicken satay and crab rangoons, this felt like a good deal for the amount of food and variety. We really liked the roti and chicken satay! We ordered drunkard noodles (pad kee mao adjacent), highway noodles(similiar to pad see ew) and pad Thai. The portions are large and tasted great! It really hit the spot and filled us up. I wish the drunkard noodles was a bit spicier. Service was quick and they have plenty of seating inside!

This is hands-down my favorite Thai restaurant. I could eat this all the time. Parking is a bit tricky sometimes, but so worth it. We always order the Thai ice tea, pad thai, dumplings, peanut sauté, and pineapple fried rice. Staff is nice, service is good. Restaurant is clean and welcoming.

Service was perfectly fine. My main criticism is the lunch menu, or really the lack of one. It feels like they serve essentially the same menu all day, without many of the options you'd expect at lunch: adding grilled meat to a salad, for example, or getting a gyro or souvlaki sandwich. I found that surprisingly limiting, particularly given how good the food is, and it may help explain why the restaurant wasn't busier at lunch. Because of the way the menu is structured, we ended up mostly sharing starters and then splitting one main course, which worked fine but seems like an odd way to have to build a lunch. One nice feature is the outdoor seating. The tables are shaded, and the patio faces an alley rather than the street, which makes it noticeably quieter and more relaxing. Overall, very good food, highlighted by the excellent beef souvlaki and tzatziki. I'd happily return, but I wish they offered a more conventional lunch menu.

3.5 STARS *UNCE UNCE…read moreUNCE* I haven't been to Burlingame for dinner in a looooong time so upon arriving to Mykonos, I was surprised to find...it was poppin'! Esp when I was able to make last minute rezzies (an hour prior) and they had wide availability. The indoor dining room was packed and about 90% of the ample outdoor seating was filled. The house music was bumpin' and with the purple lighting inside, the whole vibe reminded me of Fluid Lounge in the city (iykyk). Sister resto to Roma Antica, Bottega, 'Napizza, and The Rustic in the city and Capri Lasagneria in Burlingame, Mykonos has been on my list to go to since they opened in 2020. For Burlingame standards, I found the Greek + Med fare with a full bar, to be fairly priced. They do charge a 4% hospitality fee. F O O D * Complimentary Pita Yea, it's commercial but hey, it's free and it's served warm and toasty. * Saghanaki: Pan-fried Kefalotyri Cheese w/ lemon + oregano ($14) Flamed tableside, the saghanaki makes for a great TT/reel with cheese pulls but it was just meh. It was very salty and the cast iron pan wasn't hot so the cheese quickly cooled and hardened. * Octopus w/ Greek-inspired chickpea puree ($19) Sous-vide then finished on the grill, the octopus was tender but could have used more time on the grill for a hotter temp and deeper char. The bed of chickpea puree was dry and gritty. * Lamb Riblets w/ lemon + oregano ($17) A generous portion of meltingly tender lamb riblets (5-6 bones) but I wasn't a fan of the indistinguishable brown sauce it was finished with. * Braised Lamb Shank w/ orzo & myzithra cheese ($34) A hearty comfort dish perfect for sharing, the braised lamb shank was perfectly cooked...so rich, tender, and savory with a pleasant gamey flavor. The accompanying orzo with olives was overly salty. S E R V I C E Awesome hospitality and customer service - our server was so kind, gracious and attentive with the warm manager checking in with every table. Considering how packed they were, our entire order quickly arrived and we were done in 35 minutes. A M B I A N C E Looking for club vibes? Sit indoors. Want a quieter meal with people watching? Sit outside at either the parklet, sidewalk tables, or side patio. Overall, Mykonos knows how to do lamb right! I found the food to be more reliant on salt for my preference, as I enjoy more traditional seasoning with herbs, spices, garlic, lemon, etc. 3.5 stars rounded up for the great service.

This is definitely a spot for a date, family get together or business dinner. I highly recommend the osso buco which is tender veal shank with polenta. We've since dined here a few times, & are still working our way down their extensive menu. The Baked Garlic Butter Lobster "Escargot Style" is perhaps one of the best ways to start a meal at Stella. The Antipasto Piemontese with its salty cheeses, roasted veggies, & cured meats is another winner. While they've won me over with excellent appetizers, Stella's pastas don't hold a candle to my favorite spots. The Truffle-Stuffed Gnocchi with Brown Butter & Sage tastes like two dishes in one with flavors that don't necessary meld well; it's one of the restaurant's most popular dishes, but for me, the truffle overpowers the delicate brown butter sauce. As for Gianna's Eggplant Parmigiana, the texture of the thinly-sliced eggplant doesn't make for the silkiest bite; I wasn't expecting such a rough mouthfeel from this dish. I'll have to try their meat & seafood dishes on my next visit.

I'm a wheelchair user the first issue was they had a bunch of decorations on the ground which meant that they had to shift and move them there was also no clear way for me to get my wheelchair to a bathroom The music and I kid you not was 1980s Elevator Music to the moon and back to New York City, but done with a synthesizer I love the sliders. I always have mine arrived mushy and the bread looked and taste exactly like it would come from the Hawaiian buns that I bought at the store. The Patty tasted almost exactly what I get at Trader Joe's. I was really surprised that used to be my favorite thing. The $12 ginger ale tasted like the ginger ale get at Trader Joe's again I'm very surprised I used to love all When we got our bill, we were charged for our meal and the meal next to us They were kind enough to take $10 off after we had to set the table for a long time waiting for this to be resolved I don't know if they have a different thing going for Sunday, but everything felt very cheap, including coronations on the table. Nothing felt special. The service was kind, but also not solicitous It felt like a massive downgrade from the last time I had been there, and I was very confused from the music to the food levels to the inability to move the wheelchair around. It was just surprising. I would not have bothered to write this if it wasn't so insanely expensive To have an appetizer with $18 my husband's main was 34 the ginger ale well I understand they make it there was $12 for a glass. It just felt like I was paying for an elevated experience that I did not receive. Again, I've have been going there for years. This was just a massive downshift from what I was used to.
