Me and my kids have been this place for years. Their food was always great. However, today we were so disappointed and maybe it is going to be the last day with Coconut Rabbit for us Me and my daughter went there during the lunch time today and ordered their lunch specials. Since we always tried for dinner, we didn't even know that they have a lunch specials. When we got in, the lady sat us to the corner table and my daughter was so excited since this place is one of her favorite places. However, sooner or later we both noticed that the server was very unkind and she was acting like a robot without any emotion. My daughter usually doesn't comment anything, but today she said "they are very unkind". The server has never checked on us (did the refill for my ice tea once) I saw she smiled to some white customers though. Located in a large strip mall. The service was good though there were only a couple other customers there on a Saturday mid-day. The food was semi-pricey for what it was. We ordered the following which was more than enough for 4 people: -Coconut Rabbit dumplings- Do not be mistaken. There is no coconut nor rabbit, but the dumplings were delicious with various veggies and spices. -Tom Kha Noodle soup- It was good as we like coconut based soups, but it wasn't anything special as it was just chicken, coconut and noodles. -Papaya Salad- pretty tasty. I really enjoyed the food, it was mostly flavorful and did not leave me feeling heavy or weighed down. The only thing I was disappointed in was the wings. I was excited to try them based on the description that they would be "herbed wings", but when we got them they were basic fried wings with some very light herbs sprinkled on top that you could barely taste The wings weren't flavorful and the only thing that made them ok was the lightly sweet sauce that came on the side. We decided to try this place after seeing a tiktok about how great the food was. There's plenty of parking which is always great and it's in an easily accessible area. The place is small and cute. We ordered a couple dishes. They all had great flavor, I like spicy so I used their spicy powder (you have to ask for it since it's not on the table). The portions were a bit smaller for what I'm used to but it always depends on the restaurant. My only complaint was the service. The waitresses were nice but not attentive, at least not to us, which was crazy cause we got an automatic 20% tip charge since we were a party of 6. I don't mind, that's what I normally tip but I had to ask for to go boxes 4 times and did not get them until I got up myself to pay at the front and picked them up myself. Definitely one of my top Thai restaurants! The thing that keeps me coming back are their noodles! They're serving up dishes beyond just your basic Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. My personal favorite are their Jungle Noodles which feature flat rice noodles, your protein of choice (I usually go with chicken.), bell peppers, heirloom cherry tomatoes, green beans, Thai basil, onions, Thai chili, and romaine lettuce. I absolutely adore the freshness that the veggies add to this dish. Super refreshing and balanced. Quick, fresh, delicious! I've only tried the pad see ew here because that's my go to entree when I crave Thai food during the work week. I chose chicken, and it comes with eggs, Chinese broccoli, flat noodles. Noodles were short and torn easily compared to other pad see ews that are long flat strings. I think the shortness of the noodles gave it more char and smokey flavor from the pan frying. Called in for pick up and it was ready within 10-15 min/ by the time I got there. There's indoor seating. Really loved their interior design, and their food is very delicious and appropriately priced. My party of 4 was immediately seated on a Friday evening. They have an extensive menu and have lots of vegan/gluten free options. Everything we got was good, but the flavors were definitely on the sweeter side. This is the best Thai restaurant in the area. I wish there were more options but Coconut Rabbit does it for me. It is a little Americanized. There is no dried shrimp; any special ingredients and intense spice you would expect from a very authentic Thai place. But this place is probably more suitable for Americanized Thai cuisine. I recommend getting any type of curry here with roti. Roti is very crispy with a buttery flavor. Pad Thai is also pretty good but missing key ingredients like dried shrimp and radishes or whatever the gummy stuff is that you can find in legit places. But it has a good balance of sweetness and saltiness. Somehow it almost sounds like I do not like this place but I really enjoy food from Coconut Rabbit although it's Americanized. Drop in a couple more traditional Thai ingredients, and this place will be even more impressive. read more

Their lunch special hours are 11:30AM - 3:00PM, but they close a bit to prep for dinner I think, so don't expect to get seated if you come in at 2PM.
