It's been a while, but it's just as good as the first time I visited this place. Even when they're not busy in the restaurant, you can tell they are with their over the phone orders. The ambience is calm with low lit lights . It's a cozy environment even without the cushions. They haven't lost their hidden gem perception. note: not a fan of curry , but they have and serve delicious curry.

I had this place bookmarked for the longest time. Finally tried it yesterday. Nothing really hit the spot. Somehow, everything was a tad too sweet. The pad see ewe was pretty sweet in my opinion. Especially, there wasn't much noodles. The noodles were like little pieces. So difficult to eat. I think it would have tasted a lot better if the noodles were noodles instead of crumbs. Tofu was ok and the greens were ok. The coconut rabbit dumplings were ok. A little bit too tangy and sweet. Not my type of dumplings. The Thai lime tea was ok. A little too sweet as well, but it was good. Service was ok. I don't think I will return unless someone I know wanna try it.

I came here once many years ago, and all I remembered was that the portions were on the smaller side. Fast forward to this weekend,I was in the area and found this to be the only restaurant around that wasn't packed. I ordered the chicken Pad Thai, and while the color looked a bit pale compared to other places, it turned out to be the lightest yet most flavorful Pad Thai I've ever had. Not greasy at all, and the chicken tasted like the good-quality kind I usually only get when I cook at home. The Crying Tiger, however, was a huge letdown--bland in flavor and the steak was so dry it was a workout to chew. The interior has a more upscale vibe compared to most Thai restaurants. what I appreciated, especially the generous space between tables.

This place is decent! The noodle and curry dishes we got (pictured) were soooo flavorful. I will say, the curry is on the more watery side, as opposed to being creamy. Nothing wrong with that, just be aware in case of preference. The drinks (pictured) were good too! Stopped by on a week night and it wasn't too crowded, so we were served immediately. The staff is helpful, and the interior is clean and decorated. Located within a plaza surrounded by other businesses and ample parking.

The food was delicious and the decorations were nice and simple. Service was quick and with a smile. I always get Green Curry Chicken. It was delicious, but not my favorite. I like mine with eggplant and they don't make it with eggplant. Our jungle noodles were delicious!

Came here on my lunch break, staff and service we're sweet. Luckily came in right before their rush started. Food was good. Ordered the Papaya salad and Pad Thai with beef and Thai tea. Would definitely come back. Good spot and lots of parking.

This Thai spot is low-key one of the best in town. You walk in, and there's never a wait--almost suspiciously so. It's clean, efficient, and has all the staples: papaya salad, tom kha noodle soup, drunken noodles, crispy chicken wings. The kind of menu that reads like a greatest hits album. And the food? Genuinely impressive. The flavors are bold, balanced, and taste like they came straight from a Bangkok street stall. Whoever's behind the scenes clearly knows their way around Thai cuisine, because everything comes out consistently delicious. Service is fast, prices are fair, and there's even a parking lot--which feels like hitting the jackpot around here. But the real reason I keep coming back? The coconut ice cream with mango. It's rich, refreshing, and absolutely deserves a chef's kiss. I'd make a detour just for that. If you're looking for reliable, flavorful Thai food in a laid-back spot, this place is a winner.

Thai food that's so good, it will keep you coming for more! We have been here a few times and love everything we order. Located in a shopping center in the city of Los Alamitos, near the Doh-Nut Hut, the Coconut Rabbit is a Thai Restaurant that looks good from the outside and tastes good on the inside. Coconut Rabbit has many specialities such as the Short Rib Panang Curry and Jungle Noodles. I also enjoyed the flavors and textures of the Pumpkin Chicken Red Curry which had a sweet mild heat. The service was excellent and the restaurant was clean and modern. So if you are looking for a place to eat Thai food in Los Alamitos, then hop on over to Coconut Rabbit and enjoy!

Got introduced to this place by my coworker! As soon as I walk in, the place is very nice! Bathroom is clean and liked the forest theme of the place. Even I ordered the Pad Thai. I was expecting something regular but this offered something different. The Pad Thai tasted light and healthy, very unique and different flavors from the usual type of Pad Thai I have tried in the past. I also tried some of my coworkers food and also very delicious. 9/10!

Tom Kha Noodle Soup with Chicken

Coconut Rabbit is a Thai restaurant located in a strip mall attached to Katella Deli, Bakery, and Restaurant. A friend and I came here on a weeknight for dinner. We got there a few minutes after they opened. We were greeted upon entering and immediately seated. My friend ordered the Green Curry with chicken and substituted the Crispy Roti Prata for thr rice. I got the Tom Kha Noodle Soup with chicken and an order of the Jungle Noodles with chicken to go. Our food came quickly. The Tom Kha was so good -- warm and comforting which is perfect for a chilly evening. It was creamy from the coconut milk and had a slight kick. Would have liked more spice, but I enjoyed it the way it was. It was also packed with chicken, mushrooms, and noodles which is a plus. I tried a piece of my friend's Roti Prata and it was amazing -- crispy, buttery, and flaky. It was the best Roti Prata I have had in a while. Would definitely get a side order of that in the future if not substituting it for rice. Overall, giving Coconut Rabbit a 5/5. Service was great. The staff are kind and attentive. The space is a good balance of traditional and modern, with high ceilings and bright lights. The food is delicious and good value for the price. Would highly recommend to others looking for Thai food or a new place to try. Definitely will come back to try other dishes.

Honestly, I came by because I thought that the coconut rabbit dumplings had rabbit meat in them not realizing that it's just the restaurant name haha. My brain was not working at the time; but the food was decent. My grandpa enjoyed the chicken larb a lot. The larb was warm, which I don't prefer because I'm used to it being served cold. The dumplings were alright in my opinion; I didn't like the sweet & sour sauce they use. I did, however, enjoy the pad see ew a lot as it was well balanced. The portions were smaller than I expected but it was a perfect amount for us 3 who were moderately hungry.

We also got a Prosciutto e Arugula pizza, which is a red pie with crushed Italian tomato, fresh mozzarella, lemon and arugula, fresh prosciutto di parma, evoo, and parmesan. Both were good, but the Tricolore was my favorite of the two! The truffle pesto was so tasty, and I loved the tomato confit! The long strips of prosciutto on the Prosciutto e Arugula pizza always make it a little harder to eat, but it was good nonetheless! I like how the lemon and arugula bring a nice freshness to the pizza. The crust is soft and airy with a thin center. We also got an Arugula Salad with wild arugula, parmesan, a housemade lemon vinaigrette, and housemade croutons. The dressing was yummy and went perfectly with the arugula! Definitely a nice addition to the pizzas. We ordered the food to-go, but it was still great when we got home!

Lots of outdoor bistro style tables and indoor booths, tables that can accommodate larger groups. Our waitress seemed to be either overly stretched or forgetful for a morning service. But eventually would remember and bring what we needed. I was enjoying a long brunch so I wasn't too bothered , but if you are on a strict schedule it might be an issue. This is a pretty large space after all, I think its maximum capacity is 80 or more. Two separate cold cases for desserts and deli items like olives, salads, plus a stand for more Italian style foods. The even bigger bakery side has so many fresh pastry options, bagels and breads. I really enjoy the bagel chips made in house. Comes in Parmesan, garlic or cinnamon sugar. Recommend the lox or smoked salmon plate or scrambled with eggs. Spinach mushroom omelette is huge and really enough for two people to share. Dinner options include matzo ball soup, chicken in a pot (savory and rich chicken soup with noodles and vegetables). Hamburgers also quite good, you can customize your way. Meatloaf and fried chicken dinner are equally delicious. My other go to is the turkey dinner - because I can't be baking a whole turkey for myself! Tender turkey smothered in gravy, comes with smooth mashed potatoes. Good comfort food all around.
