The staff is very friendly and make sure you are taken care of. They make it seem as if you are the only one in the restaurant. The food was also delicious. As with most places I've grown to love in Puerto Vallarta, Coco's was a recommendation of my uncles who frequent PV. My first visit was about 3 years ago, and the last 2 years I've visited PV I've come to Coco's at least once during my vacations. For starters, I'm a big fan of their mimosas. The cranberry, pomegranate, and original mimosas are lovely, but the passionfruit is my favorite one. They're really generous with the fruit they add, and the taste of the passionfruit complements the champagne incredibly well. I'd recommend double sized mimosas if it's in the budget, because once you get to sipping you're not going to regret it! Each time since my first visit, I've told myself to try something new from the menu. The almond crusted French toast is too good for me to deviate, but my boyfriend always tries something new that I can sneak a bite of. The French toast comes piled up with mascarpone and blueberries and it's drizzled with lemon curd. Describing the slices of bread as thick and fluffy doesn't do them justice, so definitely be sure to check out the pictures so you can really see for yourself just how huge these pieces of bread are. They're also generous with the almond crusting on the toast, which takes this dish to the next level for me. Last year, my boyfriend got the churro pancakes and a chorizo omelet, and both were great. This year, he opted for the shredded apple pancakes. We didn't know they'd actually be made of the apples, but it was a pleasant, unique, and tasty surprise! Another thing I love about Coco's in addition to the food is the atmosphere. The restaurant and wine garden are built in a beautiful location and there is a tree in the middle of the dining space. There was something especially relaxing about sipping on a mimosa with the breeze hitting you just right that makes Coco's one of my favorite places to go for an early afternoon brunch before a day at the beach. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting PV, and it is definitely a five-star place in my book. read more

Came here for breakfast during my vacation and the food was excellent. The service was top notch and the ambiance was really nice. The inside is really quite nice with three small tables on the patio. I was a little nervous because of my limited Spanish but my waiter spoke great English which made me feel very relaxed. I will continue to dream of the breakfast I had here. I was looking up places to eat via TikTok and I saw a man show his meal and I knew I had to come. Churro. Hotcakes. Not just any churro hotcakes. These one came with a small ladle of caramel and one small ladle of mascarpone whipped cream. I could cry just thinking about it. I added the eggs and bacon, making my meal more than enough food for me. Although I hate sharing, I had to offer my hotcakes to my partner who also, after one bite, fell in love. The mascarpone was fluffy and melt in your mouth which was the perfect match with the crunch of the cinnamon sugar pancakes. The caramel was amazing and I don't think I left any on that spoon. My partner got the breakfast burrito which was delicious but looked a little anticlimactic in comparison to my dish. I got a Bloody Mary and he got a passion fruit margarita. Both were phenomenal! My Bloody Mary was Strong and the flavor was, in my opinion, made to perfection. Topped with three olives! Also our server was so friendly and kind! He had a great attitude! Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at CoCo's today. The waiter wasn't on his game and was very unfriendly. I asked for an orange juice to go and the cup came half full and no lid. We waited 45 minutes for our breakfast. It wasn't worth the wait. My breakfast sandwich was inedible. The muffin was terrible tasting, the cheese wasn't melted and it was served cold. The restaurant has a nice setting which makes me want to go back and give them another try but it will be a while! read more

I had this place on my list to visit in PV and it did not disappoint. I ordered Chile relleno omlette with hash browns. I was told it normally comes with beans. Waiter seemed a tad annoyed I wanted has browns. But oh well got them anyways. I wouldn't regret that!!! They gave us spicy salsa and do I say spicy, but also a very deep taste. Very unique place, I liked the location so very much! You sit outside on a back patio with a lot of trees surrounding you. It's very jungle-like. It was a very humid day and we were so glad they had these giant fans standing around! Food was good, but not exciting - we had very basic stuff. potato pancakes (with apple sauce and sour cream, yum!), which were very much under-seasoned and some kind of pancake platter with banana and nutella. Got to check out this cute little breakfast spot early today. It has an adorable outdoor, open atmosphere. Our group got there just in time, because there was a huge line behind us just as we were being sat! They offer a wide variation of options, from classic eggs and bacon, to homestyle Mexican breakfasts. Our group ordered some Chile's Rellenos, Eggs Benedict, oatmeal with fruits, bacon, and fried eggs. We also ordered a round of Passion Fruit mimosas, fresh squeezed orange juice, and I tried their Jugo Verde. The perfect morning drink, full of fresh, healthy ingredients. Everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks, and service was decent. The prices for food are very fair, and we would definitely return again. I especially look forward to another Jugo Verde. read more

A beautiful open air restaurant a little ways off the main street, but that didn't stop the crowd. We went at peak time, Saturday around noon, and waited about 20 minutes for a table of 2. The restaurant looks like a large outdoor patio lushly filled with greenery, with seating both under a roof and in the open air. We got the churro hot cakes, which were four very sweet pancakes with caramel and mascarpone cheese; they were very delicious but probably better shared given how sweet it was even without syrup. We also got the chile relleno omelette; it consisted of a thin layer of egg wrapped around a pepper stuffed with cheese with sides (we got cornbread and refried beans). I wish the egg was a little more substantial but it tasted delicious. Overall a cute place to have lunch, with friendly staff, quick service, and good food at an affordable price. We loved getting the Mediterranean omelette with spinach and mushrooms. The biscuit and cornbread are made in house and are super yummy!! We stopped in for brunch on the recommendation of some friends who are Coco regulars when they visit PV. I'll start with the good. The service here is great! Attentive and very friendly staff zipping around and checking in on your frequently. Beautiful patio and outdoor dining options, which are a no-brainer in PV. I'd go here again based on the ambiance and warm vibes alone. As with most places in Mexico, amazingly fresh fruit plate. Now for the feedback. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it felt like a brunch I could have in the U.S. And that's perfectly fine if that's what you look for when you travel abroad. Had a very good cinnamon bun french toast. French toast was cooked very well with nice crunchiness and sugar/cinnamon coating was evenly applied and added a nice flavoring to the french toast. Dining area was in a tree covered patio area that was was visually very appealing and added to the overall dining experience. I can definitely see this as a good romantic dining option in the evening if you are with your significant other. Also staff was very friendly with good follow up and quick with the coffee refills.
