Brunch is always better in a tropical setting. I visited Coco's while on a quick vacation with friends. This place was fairly close to the condo where we were staying so we dropped in. It's in the area of south Puerto Vallarta known as the "Romantic Zone". Our server was bilingual which was helpful because my Babbel Spanish lessons hadn't quite prepared me for conversation. I ordered the Machaca which came with exceptionally tasty salsa. They had a variety of fruit juices so table also enjoyed Mimosas.
We went out for breakfast on December 24 after hearing good things about Coco's, and it absolutely lived up to the reputation. The space itself sets the tone right away--open, airy, and calm, with a lush garden feel toward the back. Palm trees, greenery, and flowers surround you, creating this quiet, tropical oasis that feels removed from the bustle of town, even though you're only about a block from the ocean. I ordered the almond-crusted French toast, and it was outstanding. Perfectly crisp on the outside, soft inside, filled with a light lemon cream, topped with whipped cream and fresh blueberries. It hit that sweet spot where it feels indulgent but not heavy--bright, citrusy, and balanced rather than sugary. Paired with a caramel café latte that was smooth, rich, and not overly sweet, it made for an ideal, slow breakfast. What really stands out is how relaxing the experience is. Sitting there, surrounded by plants and filtered light, you genuinely feel transported--like you've stepped into a hidden garden café rather than a busy vacation town. Service was attentive without hovering, friendly, and unpretentious, which only adds to the ease of the place. The menu is broad and thoughtful, with plenty of excellent options whether you want something classic or slightly elevated. If you're looking for a breakfast spot that's calm, beautiful, and grounding--somewhere open and green that lets you linger and actually enjoy the morning--Coco's is an easy recommendation. Excellent food, great coffee, and a garden-like atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned.
Coco's was close to our resort so we went there for breakfast one morning. It was SO good that we went back the next morning too. I had pancakes which were perfect. Eggs over easy were better than i could have done at home. My husband had an omelette with hash browns. I also posted a picture of my plate post-meal. The service was great and the prices were outstanding also.
A trendy open air restaurant on Calle Púlpito surround by brilliant colors, decor, plant life and the flow of good food mets great energy. We had a short wait for the lunch brunch crowd (about 10 minutes, maybe a little less), 10 to 15 minutos seems to be the average on weekends. We got sat near the center by this beautiful tree intertwined with plants grow near and up around it. The view of all the patron enjoying themselves on each deck/patio section, the flow of the bar (yes, there's drinks) and staff was amazing, especially our server. Breakfast is served from 8am to 3pm daily, and lunch from Noon to 3pm. We ordered coffees, con leche for him, sin leche for me, plus a bottled water to share. I was craving something light but filling and the Ensalada de Mixta aka Mixed Salad sounded perfect and it truly was loaded with fresh veggie including jícama, pepitas, avocado, loads of tomatoes, cucumber, onions, lettuce, bell peppers, and zanahorla/zanahoria/carrots. Plus served with bread con olive oil. The blend of flavors was perfection. We were brought signature Coco's Kitchen condiments to pair with anything we needed including jams, salsa and butter. My boyfriend had the Pecan Waffle, Waffle con nuez, which also included strawberries and cream. Super thumbs up from him, especially with their syrup. At Coco's you can have your fill of Appetizers, Burgers, Salads, Soups, Sandwiches, Burritos, Tacos, Fajitas, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Pancakes, French Toast, Waffles, Classic Breakfast favs, Omelets, Egg dishes, Sides/A la cart and any kind of drink you want from Smoothies and Fresh Juices to Cocktails and Cerveza. Entire place is so inviting, not to mention well maintained. The restrooms beyond well kept up as well. It's easy to see why they stay busy all seven days of the week, definitely each day we walked by. When you want somewhere both serene and enjoyable to go... Coco's is where you go... ¡Vamos!
TikTok brought me here! Located in what a local described as "LGBTQ zone". Honestly this place is overhyped! It definitely caters to tourists as none of it tastes authentic. If you're coming to PV do not waste your time going to restaurants like this instead try the local stands or little family owned fonditas. The food wasn't terrible but it lacked flavor. The salsas on the burrito and enchiladas both tasted like canned salsas and not authentically made. Very nice ambiance and relaxing but the food just wasn't it.
Before our flight we decided to get some food from CoCo's Kitchen and were not disappointed. Only wish we would have tried this place sooner during our stay in Puerto Vallarta. The service was great but there were some women behind the bar yelling in English and who were being obnoxiously loud they were behind the bar and I saw one go inside the kitchen therefore I think they worked there but maybe taking their conversations to the back would have been more appropriate. It was definitely too early in the morning in a vacation destination for someone to be that upset. Other than that the waiter was pleasant and made sure we were in a great ambiance with great service.
Excellent breakfast lunch place - near new Hotel Tryst which might account for it being so crowded now - so plan well. Beautiful outdoor dining - excellent service. I got a table right away - though other larger parties were still waiting - though I skipped another day as there were too many folks. I had excellent salmon with capers on toasted Mexican bread with carrots and fries. Lots of fish in menu. A restaurant not to miss in the Zona Romantica!
Coco's Kitchen is a must stop for Breakfast lovers. I visited twice during my PV birthday trip. The restaurant and outside patio is very beautiful and is an open air concept. Lines can form so I recommend being early rather than late. On my first visit I ordered the breakfast burrito and added chorizo. Coffee was good. Tasty breakfast burrito. The show stopper however, was my second visit. I ordered apple pancakes, eggs, and bacon. The Apple pancakes were amazing. If you Yelpstars are familiar with Apple Hill, Placerville, California in the fall and what goes down there then these Apple pancakes are for you. Coco's is 5 star service and food. I'll be back.
I had been avoiding this place because exceso calorias but damn if it wasn't worth every one. The food here is Muy delicioso. I'm probably just making up pseudo Spanish words at this point. Anyhow, the food here is every bit as good as it looks in the photos and then some. Service was fast and friendly. I almost never order French toast but the almond crusted French toast looked amazing and it tasted even better than I expected. We also tried the chile relleno omelette and it was fantastic. Get in here and nom. You won't regret it.

Oh MY Goodness-great fresh bites for breakfast and lunch-Cute setting in a wine garden-had the tasty and fresh chicken veg soup and the salad mista for lunch-hubby had the chicken fajitas and said they were amazing. No rush and good attentive service. Price of the meal was a travelers dream. Another great place to check out in PV!!!! read more
Delish breakfast. Hard to eat anything I'm July here since is sooo hot here. But we made it. I have a Bloody Mary and Chili Relleno. And my bf got eggs Benedict with salmon. He liked it. There are plenty of good food options to try here. We say other table with burgers. And plenty of open spots to eat here. I would recommend this place. And close to the beach. ok so you can't really tell from my picture because of the sparkle filter but i got the salmon benedict and let me tell you after the night i had my throat was wrecked i mean like from partying all night settle down anyway i probably should've ordered a smoothie or something mild but no i ordered the salmon benedict and put the hottest salsa on it and destroyed my mouth yet even through the pain i could tell this was sooooo good like just order this trust me and get a big giant margarita too even if it's 10AM like who cares live your life also it was my friends birthday so they brought him a cake but i didn't have any read more

They have churro pancakes, repeat CHURRO PANCAKES! Need I say anything else?! I ordered the churro pancakes and my husband ordered the huevos rancheros. Both were perfect. The churro pancakes were over the top good. They are covered with cinnamon sugar and a dusting of caramel sauce and syrup and butter on the side. They were delicious. The huevos rancheros were flavorful and the beans that came on the side were exceptionally authentic. Someone's grandmother is in the kitchen, I just know it. I'm giving it a 4 instead of a 5 because there was a real fly problem when we were there. I have been all over PV trying several restaurants and a couple of flies don't scare me. But these weren't going anywhere and were not afraid to get swatted! It was annoying as all get out. It won't stop me from going back for more, but it was annoying to have to constantly shoo flies and eat at the same time. read more

Coco's Kitchen is a wonderful, open-air, breakfast location in Puerto Vallarta. On our recent vacation, we stopped here twice for breakfast, and it was probably the best decision we made. The first time we went, my girlfriend ordered the Churro's Pancakes and I got the Machaca Eggs. The eggs were delicious and well cooked. The pork was tender and flavorful. I ordered it with the cornbread. Homemade and absolutely delicious. Try it with the mango jam on the side and it'll be a flavor explosion in your mouth. The churro pancakes were absolutely amazing! The pancakes themselves weren't overly sweet (which was very nice) and go very well with the cinnamon topping and marscapone cream. You close your eyes and you'll swear you were eating a churro, not a pancake. The caramel side is nice touch as well. The second time we went, we ordered the huevos rancheros and the spinach and mushroom omelette. The omelette was mine and it was very good. This time I opted for the biscuit over the cornbread, and it was not a mistake. You get a large, well baked, delicious biscuit. Highly recommend. I wish I could speak to the huevos rancheros, but before I could even look up from my photo, my girlfriend was digging in and I didn't even get to try a bite. I'll take that to mean it must have been delicious! The service is here is so kind and they speak both Spanish and English. Your coffee cup will never run low and they are happy to help however they can. Overall, for the ambiance, food, price, and service I think it's an absolutely amazing breakfast/brunch stop for anyone in Puerto Vallarta. read more

This is a must go for brunch or lunch! All of our food was great it just depends on what you're craving. I started with a yummy green juice. Moved on to coffee and our table ordered Chile quiles, the TOASTED ALMOND BRIOCHE FRENCH TOAST oh my gosh. I had the Mexico omelette which was chorizo. The portions weren't huge but that's good because I've been stuffing myself. Make sure you come here. read more
Well, first time visiting Mexico and I was extremely excited about the food! There were a lot of places that were on the hit list to eat, so we decided to check out Cocos. I was more than satisfied with the decision. Me and my girlfriend love breakfast food, and are huge fans of brunch (we are late sleepers) . I wanted to have the best of both worlds, so I went with the sausage omelet and the churro hotcakes. My girlfriend went with the French toast. I was overwhelmed when the waiter brought out the grub. We'll start with the omelet, first off the presentation was awesome! Great looking omelet, nice and crisp around the edges. Came with a light salad with alfalfa and a nice champagne vinaigrette dressing. Omelet was so good and it came with a side of hash brown potatoes. Now lets get to the churro pancakes, UNREAL! Hands down the best pancakes I have ever eaten. Wonderful fluffy hot cakes completely covered in cinnamon sugar! The meal came with a side of cream cheese icing and hot caramel. So much deliciousness in every bite. To be honest, I thought it was going to be hard to eat because I have sensitive teeth, but the pancakes weren't overly sweet. Certainly would get those again in a heartbeat. It's a bit difficult to give this place anything other than 5 stars. The food was amazing, the service was good and the restaurant itself was gorgeous. You walk up a stair case into this spacious eating area that leads to a back patio on the beach. Great lighting and overall ambiance was appreciated. If you are in area and looking for brunch, Coco's is the place to go. Not too mention, this place won't break the bank either :) read more

Great service! Everyone working at Coco's was great and seemed to enjoy their jobs. The food was fantastic. We had the almond crusted French toast and churro hot cakes. Both were amazing as many of the other reviews stated. Bloody Mary and mimosa were excellent, as well. We will definitely be returning. It's added to the favorites list for sure! read more

While on a trip to visit my mom in Pv. We tried this place out for Breakfast for the first time. I ordered the Churro Pancakes and my mom ordered the Enchiladas. Both were very good. The Churro pancakes had alot of sugar and was very sweet. The wait staff was friendly but it took a while for our food to come out. I suppose it was worth the wait. It seems like it's a theme in PV none of the resturaunts are in a hurry to serve the food. Maybe its a status quo. Pricing was decent the average meal was 95-150 pesos. read more

After being in Puerto Vallarta for 10 days, I had been craving a breakfast burrito. That's.It. No seafood, no tacos, no foofy stuff. Boy, am I sad I discovered this place on my last full day here. And it's right around the corner from my hotel. I walked right over around 10ish for a takeaway order. It was busy, but they seem to be getting people seated fairly quickly for a Saturday morning. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a coffee. While I was waiting I was able to see other people's orders coming out and I thought to myself that I should have just dined in to see more. The French toast looked amazing as well as the fresh fruit on the side. The mimosas looked like nectar from the gods! The waitress was kind enough to bring my my coffee with all the fixings as I waited. She brought out my order and let me take a peak and let me know which salsa was the spicier one. Both were tasty but I do prefer the spicier one. It was flavorful but not too spicy. Enough to make you taste it. The burrito came neatly layered with eggs, hash browns, crispy bacon and cheese. there was some avocado in there however, I didn't taste it until I got to the bottom of the burrito. Came here around noon for brunch with my family a group of 10 and let me say we all left happy & full! I ordered myself something on the lighter side the Mixed Salad with a side of a plain 2 egg omelette and a side order of biscuits and omg! Let me just say the salad and eggs were good but that biscuit was to die for! So buttery and even better when you add some jam on top! I swear I keep dreaming of that biscuit- that's how good it was! read more

Cute Americanized breakfast spot in Romantic district. The chille relano (sorry if it's spelled incorrectly) had sooo much cheese. Where my cheese lovers at? So good! Churro pancakes were basically caramel and brown sugar. It's aighttt. If you are in Puerto Vallarta and want real authentic Hispanic breakfast, this may not be the place for you. After 7 good to great breakfasts in PV, we found our favorite at Coco's. We all went sweet for the morning with the Almond French Toast as the favorite. Great ambiance, no wait at 9:30am on Sunday, and kid friendly. read more

Breezy courtyard on a warm day = a piece of paradise. Green juice was so good we both had seconds! The omelet was just average - good, nothing to write home about. The almond crusted stuffed French toast, on the other hand, was pretty amazing! read more
