We went as a Friend Group for brunch and it was just such an adorable place. We kind of sat near the kitchen, so it was a little loud but everything came out quick and hot. Place is very clean and had a very open air feeling. Our waitress was very good at taking care of us. We even got our waters refilled a few times and they didn't make it seem like that was a problem. I really appreciated how kind everyone was. The food was amazing and I ate every last bite.

The food was fresh and solid but our order got mixed up/delayed, long wait time for two people, but we did come on a holiday! Parking was scarce, but I recommend making someone park and having someone else wait in line. My favorite was the iced lavender latte ! They have milk substitutes

This is not even a Cappuccino

This wasn't the worst experience, but definitely not the best either. Overall, it felt a bit underwhelming The brunch menu was standard and nothing spectacular to report. The cappuccino did not sit right and even tasted burnt. My French toast was decent but nothing memorable. For what my plate is worth, it tasted like diner food you get from Denny's. Our server seemed pretty disinterested, so the vibes were off. Maybe the other menu items are better, but having many great brunch spots around, I'd rather go somewhere that executes better food, service, and presentation.

All the food is gone so you obviously the food was delicious!

I went this morning with a work colleague. She had the combo plate with French toast (sliced bananas) and she had eggs with cheese and potatoes with a hot chocolate. I had the 3 egg southwest omelette and had a cappuccino. I liked the jalapeños were diced into squares and they did not skimp out on them. Truly, our food was delicious. The noise level was low and definitely a good choice. I was surprised that the smell was not over powered by the cooking smells as we were sitting next to the kitchen and I did not smell the food cooking while we sat. Juliczia, our waitress was attentive and helped us as soon after we got seated. When she went on a break someone else came and helped us. Really, anyone walking by was willing to help us. Definitely going back.

Wanted to try this place out since I always pass by it. Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and there was a decent amount of people. Waited for about 15 minutes until we got seated. The place was spacious with lots of seating, and a bar towards the back. I don't know if it was just an off day, but I could have made this food at home. It was basic breakfast food, but it was bland. There was nothing wow factor, it felt like it was made in a rush. Not only that but the dishes were dirty.

    Eggs Benedict with Home Fries

Final Thoughts: 2.00/5.0 It's rare that my friends and I get to go out for brunch because our schedules never align. Today was an exception and we were able to go get some brunch today. This brunch kind of did turn into a late lunch and I'm wondering if this experience would have been better had we come a little earlier. The experience and food was just underwhelming and a little disappointing. The pictures of the food online looked better, so I was hoping for something more. Overall, I can only push it to a 2 star today. Food: Eggs Benedict with Home Fries: 2.0/5 Eggs benedict is one of my favorite brunch items on the menu and I always like to try it at every brunch place I go to. The combination of the muffin, protein, poached egg, and hollandaise sauce is such a good commination for me. The eggs benedict that I got here was a little underwhelming. Upon arrival to the table, the plate just looked sad... Perhaps the plate was just so plain that it made the overall dish itself look very...small and messy. Presentation is a bit haphazard. Starting with the eggs benedict, they were quite underwhelming. The food itself seemed just warm. It didn't feel like any of it was fresh or hot. Even if it was, it seems to have been sitting there for a hot second instead. The muffin felt rubbery and not toasted at all. It lacks a lot of the texture component for me. Second, my poor egg. It was overcooked just ever so slightly and became a jammy egg versus a poached egg. This was the case for my friend's eggs too. Flavor of the hollandaise sauce was alright. They provide home friends and I truly do not like my fries like this at all. I will typically go for a hash(brown) or fries. It's the ratio of potato/starch to crisp for me. This had zero of the crisp and just all potato. Perhaps this is just a preference because I'm sure someone will like these types of potatoes. I'm just more of a fried potato kind of girlie. Not a fan of the upcharge for this side dish though. Of note, it does seem to be more convenient to provided these kinds of potatoes as the side versus offering alternatives as that can take more time. Side Note: My friend chose a cheese steak panini and it looked good. What takes away from this dish seems to be the chips. These chips looked like they came straight out of a potato chip bag. Now, they were still crispy, so it means the freshness is there. Definitely cannot see these being chips made and fried in-house because they did not that have oil or greasy to it and they were heavily seasoned. Not the kind of salt and seasoning you craft by hand either, but more of the ones you taste in a store-bought chip bag. --------- Quality: Just warm The food felt like it was just warm and not really made to order. Perhaps if it were, it may have been a little hotter than the plate of food that I got. There was also just no texture to be found in my dish anywhere which is a big miss for me. This may have been because we did come a little later during their opening hours. Can't say that's an excuse though, but perhaps it may have been better had we come at an earlier time. Price: Ehh.. For the items we got, I really would not have paid what I did. The price will range from about $15 to $18 depending on what you get. That would typically be normal, but some of the plates just look small. Personally, I really wanted the chicken and waffles and sandwiches too, but opted out of that one because of the pictures I saw on Yelp. For the sides, I did mention that I preferred fries over the home fries and I could have gotten that, but the upcharge of $4 was not it for me. Service: Could have been better Our waitress was actually really sweet. There was a little concern with her login, so she had to step away for a second, but resolved it quicky. Very apologetic. Not a big concern at all. Our initial wait for our waitress was a little longer than expected though given how many parties there were present. It was that and actually waiting to pay and get a box. I actually ended up just walking to the front counter and paying. It was quicker than waiting unfortunately. Ambiance: Sleek and modern brunch and diner vibes. Their interior is quite large and I'm sure they can house a fair amount of people during the brunch rush period. Interior design is super cute. Logo contains tangerines. It that or oranges, but I think tangerines are just cuter, so I'm calling them as such. Simple, but very modern. Very bright inside. Lots of booth tables, which I like. Location/Parking: Designated Parking Structure Available My friends and I totally missed this one because it will take you to a turn before the actual lot if you just input the name of the café onto your maps on your phone for directions. My suggestion is to zoom in, drop a pin, and then go directly to their designated parking lot area. It is right next to the storefront and not on the side. However, if you do miss it, there is a lot of street parking around the area.

Such a great spot downtown Sunnyvale! We've been to Keke's a few times & they always have a good amount of seating, quick service, and yummy food! It's about time I write this so I'll highlight a few of our fav things - * Right now they have 4 for $20 beers for the Superbowl which is awesome. Great selection including Barebottle which we really like. * Espresso Martinis made really well, no notes. * Cheese steak omelette is really packed and the home fries it comes with are great. * Chicken & Waffles are a good portion size & very yummy.

    Coconut Latte
    Syed M.

I was curious about Keke's due to the ads, but after this experience, I don't see a reason to return. I acknowledge that weekend brunch is a busy time, but to simply get a seat for 1 at the bar still took too long. I was told to wait nearby and I just awkwardly stood for ~10 minutes for someone to clean & prep my seat. I started with a Coconut Latte, and it was okay. The foam & sweetness were fine, but the coconut flavor & espresso were average. Then for my main, I had a Florida Waffle. The waffle was nothing special; I've probably made similar quality at hotel breakfasts. At least the fruits were fresh & tasty, but overall this is not worth the price. It also took a while to receive & pay the bill, even though by then the brunch rush was nearly over. Maybe the other menu items are better, but with the many breakfast cafes in the area, I would rather go to a place I can trust more.

    Small Sunshine Bowl
    Jonathan C.

Decided to try this since we wanna explore new bfast options in South Bay Area. The food was overall quite average. The omelet was okay, though it felt a bit plain and lacked any standout flavor. Similarly, the sunshine bowl was okay as well, it didn't really offer anything special or memorable. It's a decent enough spot for a quick, simple meal, but probably will try other places before ordering it again.

    Hot chocolate
    Rox R.

My review is kind. I won't be back. They got all of our orders wrong. Service was not the best. I know it was loud but our orders were messed up. Maybe they need self serve kiosks. We had to ask for the hot chocolate when it didn't come with everything. When we got it, it burned my kids tongue. My friend ordered raspberry- she was handed blueberry. So he took it back. I ordered stuffed French toast. I even asked if that was ok with the combo. I didn't get stuffed. The French toast was dry but looked really good. Other kid got a large drink when small was ordered. Got charged for large. I was also charged for the wrong item. My coffee was good but I didn't like the cup. Thick square cup was not comfortable. Bacon was good. Home fries were great- wish I had them. My scrambled eggs were horrible. Never had eggs so flat. So sorry friends- please do better.

Really great breakfast place with a huge menu of all of the classic breakfast favorites. The interior is huge with plenty of seating and friendly staff. The food is delicious, nice portions and filling. They had a dedicated parking garage which is very convenient.

    Classic combo
    Richard W.

They have their own garage for parking and everything about the building conveys modernity, clean and trendy. Sizewise, it's like an iHop - a much bigger space than I expected. There's a separate Coffee Bar if you just want to come in for espresso or a cappuccino. The two-sided menu offers many choices for Breakfast and Lunch. Florida Waffle - Nice sized, crunchy and soft on the inside. They decorate the top with plenty of banana slices, strawberries (out of season, but what the hey), and blueberries. I'm not sure where the whipped cream went, but I can do without it. I like the syrup in a squeeze bottle - it comes out cleaner and doesn't make a mess. 3-egg Scramble There's so many choices that it's hard to decide so I ended up customizing a 3 egg scramble with ham and cheddar cheese. I dunno, but it was rather flat, meaning, a tad overcooked and stale. Maybe I should have added veggies or mushrooms, but it was relatively bland in taste. Choulula helped with that. The dish comes with choice of toast and grits. The service ranges from total ambivalence to a complete disappearing act. It took a while to get our order in and even longer to get someone to bring our check at the end. Our server definitely looked like he wanted to be anywhere else and never asked if we needed anything else, or a refill on water or coffee. Basics, yet not achieved. I would eat here again if circumstances somehow dictated it, but I certainly wouldn't go out of my way to make a special trip. That's all

    Benedict with cheesy grits
    Angela P.

Okay, Keke! Over the weekend, we found ourselves in Sunnyvale and looking for a brunch spot. Keke came up as a Yelp suggestion, so we tried it out. 20 minute wait, so we opted for the coffee bar area seats and were immediately seated. I actually ended up really liking the corner location looking out the window and would do it again. ProTip: there is a parking garage, so don't be like me trying to find street parking unnecessarily. I had the Benedict and the win was the cheesy grits it comes with. My partner ordered a scramble and we got chicken and waffles to go. Definitely recommend and would return!

    Interior was nice.

That reliability is rare, and it's why Bloom is always my first recommendation. When family or friends visit from out of town (or locally) Bloom is where I take them. Every time. The food speaks for itself. The steak is cooked exactly to order, every single time. Medium rare means medium rare tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The duck fat potatoes are so good I order an extra side even when they come with my entrée. My wife loves their chicken and waffles. It's a difficult meal to pull off, but Bloom does it justice! The chilaquiles are outstanding they genuinely capture authentic Mexican flavors in a way that holds up against homemade family recipes and the best taquerias I've been to. The cocktails here are the best in the Bay as well. They taste delicious, and the presentation is eye-catching and photo-worthy. They're also strong without sacrificing taste, which is so hard to find. Sometimes a cocktail is delicious but weak, or strong but unpleasant. Bloom's drinks are perfectly balanced every time. Our favorite drink is the Palomina. It's refreshing, complements the food beautifully, and it's the kind of drink that keeps you sipping until the glass is empty. Whether you're celebrating or simply treating yourself, Bloom is the destination for a boozy brunch done right. This restaurant is truly our favorite. We've come here to celebrate life's milestones, and we've come here during difficult times when we needed a pick me up. Great food brings comfort, and we know we can always count on Bloom to deliver. They never disappoint. A heartfelt thank you to the staff and owners for making this such a special place.

It could feel gimmicky, but somehow it ends up being charming. The drinks are what initially caught my attention. Every table seemed to have something colorful and elaborate on it. More importantly, they weren't just pretty. The butterfly pea lemonade and strawberry matcha latte were genuinely delicious, not just Instagram bait masquerading as beverages. For food, the Chop Steak Skillet was the winner. Tender steak, vegetables, rice, and a sunny-side-up egg served sizzling hot. The pork cutlet was also excellent, crispy and satisfying with a rich sauce, cabbage salad, and potato salad on the side. Dessert is non-negotiable. Order the strawberry soufflé pancake. It arrives towering, fluffy, and impressively jiggly. The strawberry sauce adds just enough sweetness without overwhelming the pancake itself. Santa Clara has no shortage of brunch spots. GIWA stands out because it understands that dining should be fun. Good food, genuinely good drinks, and an atmosphere that doesn't take itself too seriously. I'll be back.

She took the time to…read moreexplain everything on the menu and helped us decide what to order when we were unsure. :) We had a great experience during Happy Hour, which was honestly unexpected because our first visit last year was a little disappointing. Thankfully, we decided to give this place a second chance, and we're so glad we did. The food was tasty and delicious, and the service was fast as well. We will definitely be coming back!

Toni worked with me over the phone to make it happen, and when there was a small miscommunication about the vibe I was going for, she course-corrected instantly -- not just in communication but in the actual setup. That kind of pivot is rare. The outside area was ideal for our group of roughly 60 throughout the day -- a mix of high tops, low tops, and couches that gave everyone somewhere to land. Heat lamps on when we needed them, off when we asked. Ellie and Shailyn were exceptional the entire time. I had to leave before I could personally thank the staff, which I regretted -- so I'm saying it here. This was exactly what I hoped it would be for my dad. Thank you, Toni, Ellie, and Shailyn. -- Anton

Always have a good time at Horsefeather…read more - Would recommend making reservations, this place gets packed in the evenings - Good spot for a date, with the family, or to catch up with a friend - Small groups are better (4 or less) as the tables are not large - They have a happy hour 3-5 pm with some options for cocktails and bites - Wide range of cocktails on the menu, beers, mocktails, and non alcoholic beer as well - The Korean fried chicken sliders were delicious and very filling! 2 can share if you're looking for a snack - The jalapeño poppers were fire, would def get again I'll be back to try more of the menu.

This place has a trendy, stylish atmosphere that feels perfect for date night, drinks with friends, or a nice night out. The space itself was probably my favorite part of the experience. The restaurant leans into an elevated New American menu and cocktail-bar vibe. As for the food... it was okay. Nothing was bad, but nothing really stood out either. I remember feeling like some of the dishes didn't taste as fresh as I was expecting, especially for the price point. The menu sounded more exciting than the actual food ended up being. The biggest thing I remember is that it just wasn't very memorable. When I think back on the meal, I remember the nice ambiance more than any specific dish. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but for the price, I was hoping for at least one "wow, I need to order that again" item. The vibe is great, but the food didn't quite live up to the setting for me. I'd be open to giving it another try, but it's not currently at the top of my list of places to revisit.
