Fun brunch spot in Sunnyvale, perfect for the whole family! We come here usually around 10/11ish and there's always a wait but it is usually a lot shorter than what they estimate it to be. My go-to is their eggs Benedict, and I usually grab yogurt and fruits for the kids. They're happy, I'm happy, we're all happy. Servers are also always friendly and great.

Presentation wise it was absolutely amazing. Everything looks delicious and of course it taste good as well. The stuff Nutella banana was great, but kind of dough-y. I love the fresh berries. The ambience was very homie. Like a small diner. We came towards the very end of lunchtime, so the server kind of made us feel rushed to order. It was really hard to find parking as well as there was no garage or parking lot. You have to find parking on the street. All of this was really expensive as well. I would say I would come back only if I really crave those Nutella stuff French toast.

The place looks so appealing from the outside on Mathilda and I have always wanted to try it. Finally had an opportunity to try it out today. I ordered the Fajita Chicken Omelette. Came with toast and I chose the side of fruit instead of grits. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Also ordered a side of small pancakes. The family loved these they were thick and fluffy. Missed trying their Stuffed French toast, coming back to try more. It was super busy on a Sunday morning, despite that service was great. Great addition to Sunnyvale Downtown!

The food was fresh and solid but our order got mixed up/delayed, long wait time for two people, but we did come on a holiday! Parking was scarce, but I recommend making someone park and having someone else wait in line. My favorite was the iced lavender latte ! They have milk substitutes

This is such a hidden gem in Sunnyvale. They have updated interior so it's very modern inside. I got seated quickly even on a Saturday afternoon. I went crazy and ordered a flight of cocktails and their milk and cereal cocktail. All 10/10 drinks in my eyes. The blueberry stuffed French toast was 10/10 the star of this meal. It was not too sweet and had so much filling. The Philly cheesecake omelette and the eggs Benedict were great as well but not as stand out as the French toast so 8/10 for both. But definitely check out this brunch place and don't forget to get some drinks too!!

We went as a Friend Group for brunch and it was just such an adorable place. We kind of sat near the kitchen, so it was a little loud but everything came out quick and hot. Place is very clean and had a very open air feeling. Our waitress was very good at taking care of us. We even got our waters refilled a few times and they didn't make it seem like that was a problem. I really appreciated how kind everyone was. The food was amazing and I ate every last bite.

First time trying Keke's. Convenient location with an off street garage parking for customers. We came around noon and there was no wait. Sounds like maybe weekend brunch is busier. Staff were friendly and attentive. Menu has options for both breakfast and lunch. We tried the stuffed French toast with pecans and chocolate which was delicious. We also treated the steak omelet which was also great and came with home style potatoes and toast. They have several drink options and we opted for the iced caramel latte and brown sugar latte. Has a diner feel to it with several large booths and tables that can accommodate families. Overall great experience - would definitely come back again!

Service at this Keke's has slipped. I often have to wait an excessive amount of time for the server to drop my check. I have even experienced having to chase a staff member down to pay my check when a server went off shift and forgot about me. Today, my request for a substitution was forgotten. Management needs improvement.

All the food is gone so you obviously the food was delicious!

I went this morning with a work colleague. She had the combo plate with French toast (sliced bananas) and she had eggs with cheese and potatoes with a hot chocolate. I had the 3 egg southwest omelette and had a cappuccino. I liked the jalapeños were diced into squares and they did not skimp out on them. Truly, our food was delicious. The noise level was low and definitely a good choice. I was surprised that the smell was not over powered by the cooking smells as we were sitting next to the kitchen and I did not smell the food cooking while we sat. Juliczia, our waitress was attentive and helped us as soon after we got seated. When she went on a break someone else came and helped us. Really, anyone walking by was willing to help us. Definitely going back.

Wanted to try this place out since I always pass by it. Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and there was a decent amount of people. Waited for about 15 minutes until we got seated. The place was spacious with lots of seating, and a bar towards the back. I don't know if it was just an off day, but I could have made this food at home. It was basic breakfast food, but it was bland. There was nothing wow factor, it felt like it was made in a rush. Not only that but the dishes were dirty.

Such a great spot downtown Sunnyvale! We've been to Keke's a few times & they always have a good amount of seating, quick service, and yummy food! It's about time I write this so I'll highlight a few of our fav things - * Right now they have 4 for $20 beers for the Superbowl which is awesome. Great selection including Barebottle which we really like. * Espresso Martinis made really well, no notes. * Cheese steak omelette is really packed and the home fries it comes with are great. * Chicken & Waffles are a good portion size & very yummy.

I was curious about Keke's due to the ads, but after this experience, I don't see a reason to return. I acknowledge that weekend brunch is a busy time, but to simply get a seat for 1 at the bar still took too long. I was told to wait nearby and I just awkwardly stood for ~10 minutes for someone to clean & prep my seat. I started with a Coconut Latte, and it was okay. The foam & sweetness were fine, but the coconut flavor & espresso were average. Then for my main, I had a Florida Waffle. The waffle was nothing special; I've probably made similar quality at hotel breakfasts. At least the fruits were fresh & tasty, but overall this is not worth the price. It also took a while to receive & pay the bill, even though by then the brunch rush was nearly over. Maybe the other menu items are better, but with the many breakfast cafes in the area, I would rather go to a place I can trust more.

This is not even a Cappuccino
    Lily D.

This wasn't the worst experience, but definitely not the best either. Overall, it felt a bit underwhelming The brunch menu was standard and nothing spectacular to report. The cappuccino did not sit right and even tasted burnt. My French toast was decent but nothing memorable. For what my plate is worth, it tasted like diner food you get from Denny's. Our server seemed pretty disinterested, so the vibes were off. Maybe the other menu items are better, but having many great brunch spots around, I'd rather go somewhere that executes better food, service, and presentation.

The ambience definitely creates a nice mood for dining. Since I was there to eat--not to celebrate anything and not particularly concerned about the cuteness--I paid more attention to other things: the spacing between tables, which felt a little too tight and close together; the service; the seating; and, most importantly, the food quality. The staff were very attentive and gracious throughout our visit. The Korean Pork Cutlet was juicy and delicious. It was a generous portion--easily enough for two people. It came with a delicious corn soup, potato salad, and several condiments. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the American Wagyu Steak with Cheese Dip. I ordered it medium, but the meat was so tough it was like chewing leather. Definitely not what I expected from a Wagyu steak. Would I go back? Probably not for a while, unless I was looking for a place with a fun atmosphere for a celebration. For me, good food comes first, and unfortunately, the steak experience left me questioning the quality of their other beef dishes. And I'm a beef eater!

If he didn't bartend here this would be a two, and the second star is only because they carry the Rye I like. He wasn't on tonight. Adam was. So, here we go... Quick background so you know who's writing this. I grew up in downtown San Jose and I've owned and operated bars and coffee shops there, including on 1st Street. All front facing, all customer service, nothing hides behind a kitchen door. I am 26 years old and it's a quick way to see how service staff treats young/non-regular service. Over +10 years in this industry, four of those as an owner. I've hired bartenders, trained bartenders, and fired bartenders. I've watched the tape at 2am trying to figure out why a our best bar-fly stopped coming in. So when I walk into a bar, I'm not just a guest. I'm watching how the room gets run. I got recommended Fibbar's on the Caltrain. I had a tight timeline and made room for it anyway, because I love supporting local and I know what it takes to keep the doors open. I came for Dunncha. I've had him behind the bar before and he elevated the whole night, every time. His name gets around downtown San Jose, and as an owner I've seriously considered hiring him myself. The guy on the train swore by him too. I figured with a pro like that on staff, I'd get put in the queue, served quick, and be back on the train. Instead Dunncha was off and I got Adam. Oh boy... He told me he'd be right with me, then filled 3 beers and mixed a drink for the woman next to me (I've pulled enough bar cam to know that's easy to check). When I checked in he called me "Mr Impatient." I let it go. I tried to make friends with him, even offered up my cowboy hat, because I had a train in 15 minutes and didn't want to make it worse. He grabbed my wallet off my hat (front bar video) and paraded around with my hat while I waited to close out. I told him about the train. He shrugged. This was after I'd already ordered three drinks. I paid, thanked him, and thought we were on good terms. Then he loudly confessed to scissoring my fingers. What a weird thing to do. Then "He made me!" Weirder thing to say. The people next to me didn't know what that meant either. They just... Starred??? Probably weirded out by their bartender telling them he was scissoring my fingers LOL I usually don't review a place until I've had the food. Didn't happen tonight. Adam's demeanor made me feel unwelcome and honestly unhungry, and I'm not the kind of guest who loses his appetite easy. Owner to owner: gaining a new customer is the most expensive thing you do. I was scouting Fibbar's for my workgroup, my GeoCache group, and the Sunnyvale Restoration Cleanup Group. Three groups, all local, all regulars once they land somewhere. Adam lost all three in 15 minutes. If he were on my payroll that's not a bartender, that's a liability. And he had the gall to tell me good luck catching the Caltrain. Caught it, by the way, no help from you, little buddy. If Dunncha's on, go. I'd trust him with my own bar. If it's Adam, don't. The magic of Fibbar's is gone. He killed the vibe. Definitely not welcome at my bars with that "friendly" attitude. P.S. Owner-to-owner, I'd pull the tape. Seen it before. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Meyhouse Sunnyvale -- Excellent Food, but the Service Pacing Could Be Much Better…read more I tried the $44.95 three-course prix fixe lunch and chose the Köpoğlu as my meze, upgraded the main to the Adana Kebab for $3, and added the Künefe for $2. The food was the strongest part of the experience, and several things stood out more than I expected. The complimentary bread was excellent--warm, fragrant, and nicely textured. I also really enjoyed the green herb sauce served with it. The parsley and mint flavors were quite pronounced, almost grassy, but in a good way. It was fresh and aromatic and worked very well with the bread. The Köpoğlu was one of the highlights of the meal. The roasted eggplant, tomato sauce, garlic yogurt, and olive oil were very well balanced. I especially liked the garlic yogurt--the acidity, garlic, and creaminess were all present without any one element overpowering the others. The tomato added sweetness and acidity, while the olive oil rounded everything out. It was especially good with the bread. The Adana Kebab was also very good. My first bite came from the end of the skewer and was slightly dry, but once I got into the center, the meat was noticeably juicier. The char from the grill was excellent, and the lamb had a clear lamb flavor without being gamey. The chopped red pepper mixed into the meat also added another layer of aroma and flavor. Even the rice surprised me. It looked like plain white rice, but it was flavorful enough to eat on its own, with a noticeable buttery, almost milky aroma. The flatbread underneath the kebab was also very good after soaking up some of the lamb juices and fat. If I had one criticism of the main plate itself, it would be the proportion of onion-tomato salad to meat. The salad tasted fine, but for my preference, there was a little too much of it. I really enjoy the lingering flavor of grilled lamb, and while the rice and bread help carry that flavor, the raw onion and tomato act as a strong palate cleanser and erase it quickly. Since the meat portion was relatively small compared with the rice and salad, I would personally prefer a little more kebab and a little less salad. The Künefe was another highlight. I really enjoyed the contrast between the crispy kadayıf on the outside and the soft, warm cheese inside. The pistachios on top were not something I particularly enjoyed by themselves, but mixed together with the cheese, syrup, and crispy pastry, they made much more sense. The first few bites, especially the areas that had not absorbed too much syrup, were excellent. Toward the center it became a little sweeter than I prefer, but overall I still liked it very much. Food-wise, I would actually give Meyhouse a slight edge over Dishdash. There were more layers and more small details to notice throughout the meal, from the bread and herb sauce to the Köpoğlu, Adana, rice, flatbread, and dessert. The service, however, did not match the level of the food. The restaurant was quite quiet at lunch, but the pacing was surprisingly rushed. I had barely started eating the Köpoğlu when the main course arrived. For a menu specifically presented as a three-course prix fixe, I expected the courses to be paced more deliberately. Instead, I had to choose between continuing to enjoy the appetizer and eating the kebab while it was still hot. There was also an issue with clearing the table. One staff member who was not the person taking my order repeatedly tried to remove my bread and the green herb sauce. The first time, I specifically asked him to leave the sauce. Later, after I finished the main course, he came back and again started clearing both without asking. I told him I wanted the bread to go, so he left the bread, but still removed the herb sauce. It was a small detail, but it made the service feel mechanical rather than attentive to what the guest had already requested. Overall, I would rate the food around 8.5/10 and the service around 6.5-7/10. Meyhouse is a little more expensive than Dishdash, but the prix fixe lunch is also very substantial. I only ate about half of the complimentary bread, and I was already quite full after the main course. Finishing the Künefe left me completely stuffed, so the portion size is definitely generous. I would still come back. Next time, I would probably try the Ahtapot, especially since it is only a $9 upgrade on the prix fixe compared with $25 à la carte. The food gives me a reason to return; I just hope the pacing and attention to small service details are better next time.

They were attentive and made sure our water glasses were always full. The interior is beautiful with all of the plants. Their goat empanadas are popular for a reason, the aroma was amazing when it was served to our table. I really enjoyed it as an appetizer and the sauce paired well. The sautéed green beans with fish sauce aioli were umami heaven. It was just as delicious as I remembered, when I visited Girl & The Goat in Chicago a few years ago. The sticky pork shank was tender and fell right off the bone. I made lettuce wraps with the pork, pickled veggies, and sauces provided - wow, everything tasted so delicious! We also ordered the skirt steak to share, which was good, but a bit chewy. I definitely recommend getting the pork shank. Overall, Valley Goat has unique and tasty dishes that I don't think I can find elsewhere around South Bay. My family from out of town will be visiting soon, I'm excited to bring them here for brunch or dinner!

I definitely want to return for dinner as the menu looks more appetizing than the lunch menu. I had a hard time deciding what to get for lunch. Will return for dinner and hopefully it'll be a 5 star food experience.

The cinnamon is like a warm apple pie minus the apple. The citrus is my personal favorite because citrus cuts the richness while the sweetness enhances the savory bacon. Rosemary is great as well you first get the rosemary scent from the nose then the next profile is the pepper followed by the savory pork. - Francis Egg Soufflé 26 Cutting edge asian fusion, egg prepped in an asian way with american toppings (bacon and chicken sausage). Served with a side of bread and potato/brussel mixture. Definitely shareable because of how much egg it comes with! - Hemingway Eggs Benedict 26 The wasabi hollandaise was a hit! I can confidently say I haven't had this flavor combo before and the cucumber and lemon in the eggs benedict helped cut how dense a traditional one is! Also served with a side of potato/brussels. The bathroom was aesthetic, it wasn't super clean but it was a Saturday morning so I understand. You checkin on the Yelp tablet and choose between indoor and outdoor seating for the host to guide you! The service was decent considering how busy it was, the bus boys were amazing. I saw them cleaning up tables and efficiently which explained why the wait times weren't bad at all. Very similar to the Palo Alto location! Parking lot is decent but if you are coming with a big party definitely consider carpooling.
