This is easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the SFV. A plant-based coffee shop with plants decorating the entire cafe? They have a few tables in here as well, along with a few board games to enjoy with your friends or significant other. On this visit, I had the Dubai Chocolate Latte! The cold foam on top has just the right amount of sweetness to go along with the mocha drizzle. The espresso shots provide a nice punch to go along with the rich chocolate. I really appreciate that they don't put a lot of ice in their drinks. It really feels like you're enjoying a good amount of coffee. I always appreciate the friendliness of the baristas whenever I stop by. They're always warm and pleasant!
Cutest little cafe on Ventura. The space is very nice, clean with lots of plants you can purchase all around. I was helped quickly and ordered a strawberry matcha. It was good, the strawberry at the bottom wasn't the easiest to swirl into the drink but overall it was great. It seems like people go there to work so it's pretty quiet inside. I enjoyed their seating outside, it was a beautiful day. They also had a small selection of toasts and pastries that I'd like to try next time.
I really thought the matcha was gonna be good here. I immediately knew by the color of this matcha I knew it was going to be gross. I tried it anyways but it tasted spoiled. I didn't end up drinking it I dumped it in the trash. This is unfortunate because the inside was cute.
Coffee and Plants is located in Venture, and no surprise was it how hard it was to find parking. It's a fairly small location from the queue to the tables, but the atmosphere inside is very aesthetic. Everything screams luxury but in a cute, enchanted forest kind of vibe. I went with my basic iced latte only to realize that there is no milk. Instead, I went with oat milk. The espresso here tasted great, and I was impressed with how it paired with their oat milk. While I didn't have a chance to work inside, I am excited to return in the future. The staff member who helped my friend and I at the time was very friendly, and drinks were out within a fairly reasonable time (~5 mins) - prepared fresh. The most fun part was picking up the drink at their Lazy Susan.
There were people inside working on their computers and enjoying their drinks. I ordered the strawberry cream matcha. The color of matcha was vibrant and I loved the strawberry cream on top- it was extra fluffy. The strawberry puree mixed in was a great combination as well- there wasn't one flavor overpowering the other with all the different components of the drink. There was one other person was in line so service was quick. Parking- street parking
Came here for a breakfast and it was fantastic! I ordered the just egg tartine and it was bigger and more filling than I expected, I also ordered the pumpkin latte with oat milk to accompany it. The tartine was wonderful and they really did a fantastic job with the scramble. I loved the seasonings and the hot sauce that accompanied it. The bread also had a great texture and balanced out the soft fluffy texture of the faux egg. The pumpkin latte was perfectly sweet and creamy and worked so well to contrast the savory meal. It was relaxing and comfy inside although it was packed when we arrived! Thankfully we were able to find a spot to eat! The customer service was so friendly and caring. Parking was super easy in the neighborhood behind with free two hour parking!
Super cute and aesthetic cafe, definitely a place where you can make a Pinterest board out of. I ordered their non caffeinated lavender butterfly pea latte which was super refreshing and delicious! I love the space here, I just wish there was a location on the westside.
This is one of the cutest matcha and coffee shops I've seen and had an amazingly friendly and helpful barista. Definitely a place where you go after Pilates . This matcha and coffee shop is plant based, no cow milk so no up charge on the dairy free. I had the Azul matcha with butterfly lavender cold foam. It's good, not too sweet, had almond cashew milk and tasted a bit like coconut and lavender. The cream is delicious. The only negative is there was not a lot of liquid to the drink. The cup is small, my guess is 10-12 oz so it tastes good but won't quench your thirst.
What a cute coffee shop with all plant-based food. We had the peach please tea and the strawberry matcha and it was great. There is seating indoors and outdoors but it is limited. The staff is super friendly and the drinks came out super quickly! Next time I want to try the food items too.
Nice interior, cute spot for photos and social media posts. Staffs are nice and friendly. Limited meter parking outside (and the enforcement guy literally waits by the meter. The minute your meter expires he will give you a ticket, smh). But I am giving this place a three stars because my 9 dollars Strawberry Cream Matcha was made from store bought strawberry jam (saw the barista scooped it out of the jar). I was expecting maybe somewhat in-house made strawberry for the price. Oh well. . .
Love the seasonal drinks and the new pastries! The banana bread tastes like my Mom's recipe. And the staff is always on top of their game even when very busy they handle it with smiles, grace and ease! This has become my favorite coffee stop!
Coffee and plants is a lovely coffee shop. They have a lovely seating area and the store has great relaxing vibes. The barista who made my drink was friendly and courteous. I tried the double pumpkin latte and it was delicious. I definitely will come back here to relax and have a nice beverage in the future

No kidding when it says coffee and plants! This is such a cute like cafe on the Ventura blvd. They have all kinds of coffee. The reason why I came here and have ordered from here was because of the Strawberry Matcha. Strawberry and Matcha the best combo. This place is a nice little quiet place. Came back and tried their 24k Charcoal latte which was actually pretty good compared to the Laurel Latte which is pretty bland. I came on a Sunday morning and got lucky with street parking. The cafe was not crowded but there were some people and tables taken but nothing crazy so we were able to find a seat for two. read more

My mom and I stopped here for a refreshing matcha. Luckily, everyone was seated with their food and drinks so there was only one other person waiting to order. Great atmosphere, cute little place to get a nice chagaccino! They do have oatmilk and almond milk substitutes and don't use sugar substitutes for those of you who are allergic. They also have regular coffee as well, hot or iced. They have mini cakes and treats to eat and even little stickers and knick knacks you can buy, and they also sell plants! I've been to the location in Pasadena lots of times and I'm glad I finally made it here. The inside is just as cute as Pasadena and the staff just as friendly and helpful. We didn't manage to find seats inside so we sat store front which had a quaint little area. I'm usually loyal to iced lattes but it was freezing this particular morning so I went hot which is still amazing to enjoy. The food was delicious and so fresh. Super cute place on Ventura! Def fits the Los Angeles vibe with aesthetically pleasing decor, tasty (but expensive lol) drinks and fun vibes. The staff were also really sweet and attentive. This was my second time visiting Coffee Plants and both times was a great experience. I ordered the Just Egg Tartine and a Matcha Latte. Both were absolutely delicious. The Tartine had layers of flavor from the coconut bacon, pesto and just egg. It is very filling so you only need one slice. I'm not sure if it had a drizzle of balsamic but if not that would be the perfect topping. The Match Latte was quite tasty also. I love their logo cups! I feel fancy walking around with the cup lol! The service was good overall. They were a little busy the day I went so the wait time was a little longer than expected to get my order. This is a "happening" spot in studio city since the decor is so aesthetically pleasing, especially for your instagram photos. Coffee and Plants is such a VIBE. It is truly pretty inside and I don't like public bathrooms but the way Coffee and Plants bathroom is, it is GOALS. Christian was such an AMAZING barista. My vegan friend suggested we meet at Coffee and Plants and I didn't know what to think. They do not have caramel Frappuccino but let me tell you about that Hot Cocoa. The Hot Cocoa was PERFECT with oat milk and agave. I can't wait to come back to try another drink because it is just really good and not too sweet. Just perfect. And I can't wait to come by a little bit earlier so I can also enjoy a meal. It is a great place to catch up with someone or even a business meeting. Indoor and outdoor seating. Came here after getting my nails done next door. The coffee is strong, and they have vegan and gluten free sweet treats. I got mocha and a gf chocolate chip cookie with sea salt (warmed) and it was incredible. It's wasn't too busy when I got there which was nice. 5/5 for the food, service, and location. What a beautiful place to come into on a monday morning! I love the overall aesthetic and beauty of the coffee shop! It feels so warm and inviting. Food/Drink: I received a Laurel Latte and ordered a Savory Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Flat Puff (V). The Latte was perfect for a Monday morning! It was strong and had the perfect mix of coffee and sugar. No complaints. The Basil Flat Puff was delicious! They warmed it up and delivered it to me on a Lazy Susan, which was a nice touch! (haha). The food was overall delicious and paired well with my drink. Location: It's off Ventura, so there is ample street parking everywhere. I came during off-hours, so I did not have any trouble finding parking. The overall ambiance is BEAUTIFUL. If you're a plant person (like me), you'd definitely appreciate the type of plants they have at their coffee shop. Service: No complaints, overall great. It's just 2 of them and you can watch them make your drink. I only waited about 10 minutes for my drink since there was a small rush, but I stayed for about 25 minutes since I liked the ambiance there. Overall, would definitely come back here again! This is such a cute and girly spot. The interior is pink and adorned with plants. Seating was cute and comfortable as well. There's a little photo op area to your right when you come in. Such a gorgeous spot! The aesthetics are on point. Love how inviting, calm, and detailed the space is. The colors are beautiful and all the interior decorations are intricate. There is seating inside and out, I love how they keep the windows open to allow for natural light and breeze. The menu is on the wall, but there's a detailed menu posted alongside the grab n go section with napkins, lids and straws on the right once you enter! The staff is friendly and helpful when answering my questions since this was my first time :) I ordered the superfood latte iced with oat milk. The espresso is quality tasting and perfect amount of sweetness for my liking (which isn't much.. so if you want it sweet - ask for extra vanilla or add agave!) I spent a good hour and a half in here enjoying my coffee and reading my book. Parking can be found on the street with meters, or you can find parking in the residential areas. What a cute little coffee shop! It's right on Ventura so you're just crossing your fingers that street parking opens up. The vibe is super chill, I love the pink decor, and the baristas are very friendly. When I was there, there were probably about 4 different parties just hanging out, enjoying their company, and there was something very earnest about this scene. I got a Laurel latte, which was just delightful. They've got a cute selection of plants and merch available. I was influenced to come to C&P from IG. It was so girly & cute, so I made a point to meet a friend here for coffee on Memorial Day. It was slightly challenging to find parking, as they did not have a formal parking lot. So I had to drive around the block to find street parking. The exterior was decorated nicely. The floral awning was a great touch. The floral wall was a nice little photo op. The Cafe itself was tiny. There was minimal seating inside, and practically all the tables were filled. Customer service was pretty good, the staff were friendly. The menu was very concise. I ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk, and it was pretty basic. Nothing noteworthy to report. My bestie suggested we come here after seeing this spot featured on some IG page. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically, this place is absolutely adorable. The floral wall, cute little tables, and chic little vibe. It definitely has the look/feel of one of those IG spots. I got the blue matcha something, and I think we also had a green and pink match drink, and I forgot what the bestie got, (can't remember any of the names for the life of me - sorry), but they all were delicious. Nothing that was, out-of-this-world/must-come-back-for but it was definitely delicious. The service was great as well. They were very kind and the man taking our order, we chose what he suggested and somehow the order came out as the wrong item. However, they took it back with no problems and replaced it with what we asked for. It did take a little while to get our food the second time. We got the egg & cheese croissant and split it. Great vibe great coffee. This is the second location in LA. Street parking in the front or you can park at the residential area. Got to the cafe early in the morning at a Saturday, but it's kinda full already. Ordered a special drink - Shaken Expresso and it's great. The staff are friendly and I think this is better than the location in Pasadena. read more

Used to be a favorite -- now a major disappointment. I used to love coming here for breakfast -- their avocado toast and coffee were my go-to. Unfortunately, today's experience was nothing short of a shock, and it made me question how things have declined so drastically in just a few months. The service was unprofessional and inattentive. Tables were left dirty, and when we politely asked for ours to be cleaned, our request was completely ignored. When our food finally arrived, we were surprised -- it came in takeout boxes, even though we clearly ordered to dine in. Upon asking why, while others around us were eating from regular plates with proper cutlery, we were told: *"We have no clean dishes."* There were only plastic forks available, no knives, and no napkins -- we had to eat our toast with our hands. Worse, the restroom was out of service. We had to walk around the neighborhood to find a place to use the bathroom, and even then, there was nowhere to wash our hands afterward. When I expressed concern to the staff, the response was dismissive and visibly irritated -- no attempt to apologize or acknowledge the inconvenience. And sadly, even the food has lost its charm. The once-delicious signature avocado toast is now made with what tastes like cheap store-bought bread, no microgreens, and nowhere near the quality it used to be -- yet the prices remain above average for the area. This place once had a soul, attention to detail, and a standard worth coming back for. It's painful to say, but I won't be returning. read more

I was in this place for the first time today, and I didn't like it at all. Firstly, the prices are high, and the sellers are somehow unfriendly. We asked them to take our order to a table outside, they agreed, but they never brought it. Then we picked up our order ourselves, but it was in a box, not on a plate. And there was no toilet, we had to look for it somewhere else. The unpleasant impression remained. read more

Opening day, April 30. I am so happy that C&P is closer to me. I won't have to go to Pasadena as much anymore. The menu is more or less the same which slight changes. They have puppucinos and Laurel Latte instead of the Rose Bowl latte for their physical location. They also serve food and pastries. They were busy busy and, of course, Leona Lewis was there. I had the Jane because I love anything with ube. The drink was so good and so perfect for a Sunday afternoon. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a great location. The downfall with the location is the parking. They have plants and merchandise for sale as well. Needless to say, welcome to The SFV C&P!!! read more

Such a cute and vibey place. It is definitely aesthetically pleasing. The staff are lovely & attentive. I got the pink matcha, which was good but not amazing. I wanted a stronger hibiscus flavor. And the matcha isn't the best quality, unfortunately. My friend got the watermelon cooler & it was good but we were expecting more of a fresh watermelon flavor rather than a jolly rancher type of watermelon.
