Tried this spot with some friends the other day. We had two mini BFFs with us, and the train theme was a hit! The kids loved the train room, though there was someone on a phone call in the back so we didn't get to truly explore it fully. The menu was a bit hard to read on the boards as it changes through slides, but I was able to get my charge a milk with strawberry syrup, so she was pleased. I didn't get a drink; didn't see teas on the menu and wasn't interested enough to ask at the time. I did see a sign that said they had gluten free muffins, which is nice. My friend got a hot stuff bagel thing that looked really good. Her mini loved his plain bagel too. The loft upstairs is nice--has a couch, a couple of small tables--and besides the train car area, there are a couple of small tables downstairs by where you order too. The patio outside is a good option on days where it's not raining like it was when we visited! Bathroom was clean and had a step stool at the sink, a nice touch for us. This wouldn't be my first choice for a coffee shop stop, but it was a fun one for this particular day! 3.5, rounded up for the train factor.

Ok .. mission accomplished!!! I found the cutest coffee shop in the Indianapolis area !!!! The place is the cutest, like can't even find the words that I feel give it enough accolades. I felt like a kid in a candy shop ! I ordered the spiced pumpkin shaken espresso and my boyfriend got the campfire latte, both iced. Mine was sweeter but not overly sweet, it was perfect but the campfire latte was just a hint of Smokey flavor. The atmosphere is amazing and I may say that about 10 more times!! Has an industrial modern vibe with super cute decor that's attached to a train car that offers even more seating. Pet friendly as well ! Super friendly staff! You can even book some areas for meetings etc.. a must go !!

Some seating to enjoy your choice of treats and or coffees.

This has to be the best and most fun coffee shop around! First off Kenley greeted me to take my order. (See her pic) she has a great smile and is very nice. Just the design alone is something to go see in this strategically placed caboose that was expanded. Read the story behind it, it's really unique and special. I had a hazelnut latte with oat milk but they offer different kinds of drinks too. Want to lounge and enjoy your coffee? Take your pick of places to sit and marvel at the ingenious and unique design like no other. There are different levels full of creativity. Plus I know the owner and she's a neat person!! Check out the fun pics. And btw the latte was very satisfying.

Super cute place to explore! My kids loved roaming around the caboose and finding train related items all over. Then we headed up to the loft area to enjoy our food and watch the town. They had WiFi info available to bring your laptop and work. We spent 20$ on the following: Hot chocolate no whip Hot chocolate with whip cream Cake pop Jumbo cinnamon roll They have a pretty extensive menu. There were also kolache and sandwiches and tons of drink options.

Neat little coffee shop with a train theme. It's a bit small inside and wouldn't be a place to go work or study as it's quite loud inside. Better for a social interaction. The coffee was good but I've had better. I think it's more the atmosphere that makes this worth a try. Service was good and there was a steady flow of customers.

This is definitely one of the most unique coffee shops I've been too. They do the train theme very well, and it has an interesting setup. I went with one of the drinks they had on special, a pistachio latte. It was definitely on the sweeter side, but still good. They also had some bakery items and things for breakfast in the case. The staff were quick and friendly.

Very cute set up and decor, fascinating what they have done to enjoy the caboose. Staff was friendly but you could hardly hear yourself think, let alone say your order. Some of the machines were running at once and it was very loud. It is definitely the loudest coffee shop I have ever visited. My husband and I chose not to stay to enjoy our drinks because of this. The drinks were just okay. The flat white hardly tasted of espresso and the Dirty chai was made with syrup. I was hoping for a little more but enjoy supporting local so wanted to give them a try. I would still recommend to enjoy the set up and ambience.

There are a few parking spots in the main lot so you might have to park in the lot across from the shop. The coffee shop itself had such a fun ambiance with the caboose used as a seating area and there being a loft upstairs for seating along with plants on the wooden pillars and a fun sign and decorative wall on the way upstairs to the loft. The barista was sweet. I got the Backroads Latte which includes Salted Carmel, Vanilla, White Chocolate, and Espresso. If you like a sweet drink that is a pretty good one to try. I can't wait to go back and try other drink options to "stoke my engine".

Coffee for the locals. You can drive thru of take a moment to unplug. Small but comfortable and cozy. Great to just take a moment to enjoy a coffee or tea. Along with a great selection of baked goodies. This isn't Starbucks. This is adult coffee for the locals. The old barbershop lives on at the Crossing. Shop Small Shop Local

Stopped in for a quick cappuccino and hot ginger green tea. Both are excellent. And the ambience and the positive friendly service here is 110% highly recommend stopping in here anytime you're in McCordsville. Thank you copy at the crossing!

This place is so cute and so well themed. You can even sit inside the caboose. If you like trains, you must check this place out. The menu has your typical coffee selection along with a few specialities. I got an iced cookie butter espresso latte. They offer a few food items. The draw to this place is definitely the ambiance. When you step in you can't help but smile.

Everything went smoothly, I ordered a grape/pineapple combo with strawberry candy covering. It was $12, we weren't sure if we liked them so we went small first. She has certain pick up times and only certain days available. The only negative I have is that I picked an 11 pick up she asked for 12 and I was good with it. She was "open" from 11-6. I messaged at 11:50 I was on my way and it was 20 minutes and I was on my way. She messaged while I was driving that she just got home and she wasn't ready. I didn't get it until i got there. I had to wait 30 minutes. If I hadn't already paid I would've left. The actual product. They were orange, I ordered strawberry flavored so I was concerned. She assured me they were strawberry and she added extra because she was late. I didn't get any with the jolly rancher crushed add on but there were some in there. The grapes were delicious!! We loved them. The pineapples were chunks and just too watery so the candy didn't stick like the grapes. We didn't care for them but I would get the grapes again. We got them for the experience and it was fun.

We definitely felt like an "inconvenience" rather than valued customers. Not rude just not appreciative for $45 spent on what could have been $20. Regarding the treats, here is the breakdown: Caramel Shortbread with Chocolate: This was easily the highlight of the night. Absolutely delicious and the best thing we bought. S'more (Chocolate Covered): This was our second favorite. It had a nice white chocolate drizzle, though I personally found the white chocolate a bit distracting. A standard chocolate-on-chocolate drizzle would have let the s'more flavors shine better. Pecan Delights: Disappointing. The balance was off--the pecans completely overpowered the caramel. I wouldn't purchase these again. Chocolate Covered Raisins: Just okay. I usually expect larger, premium raisins from a specialty shop, but these were fairly standard. We spent $45 on these four items, and honestly, the value wasn't there for the price point and the rushed atmosphere. While I wouldn't return for a full shopping trip, I might pop in specifically for that shortbread cookie and nothing else.

We arrived and I was immediately impressed, visually, by the beautiful atmosphere that they've curated. Through the glass garage door storefront, you are greeted by interesting light fixtures, eye- catching red chairs, large booths, rotating digital images of the delectable chocolate offerings, and flowing fountains of white, milk and dark chocolate. We entered and the smell of sweet confections filled the air. I left my husband at the counter to order and grabbed a table for us in the corner nearest to the garage door. We later discussed how, during the Summer, it will be so nice if/when they open that door up to the outside air. You order at the counter, and then they bring it out to your table. My husband returned with a big glass bottle of cold water (and some of the flimsiest plastic cups that I've ever held). The water was a nice, and necessary, touch. The dishes are rich! They are rich in the best way possible, though. The event provided a complimentary crepe with your choice of fruit, and a cookie skillet with ice cream. My husband couldn't decide on which fruit(s) to get, so the employee just told him that they'd hook it up for us. The crepe came out, and it was so beautiful...it was almost too pretty to eat! They provided us with an array of fruit to accompany it; bananas, strawberries, pineapples, and kiwi. The addition of the fruit really helped to cut through the richness of the chocolate. The crepe was the perfect, delicate vehicle for all of it! I probably ate about a 1/3 of it, and tried so save room for the cookie. I'm not a real "sweets" eater, but everything here just looks so good! The cookie skillet came out warm, gooey, and with its own generous drizzling of chocolate under a scoop of ice cream (& whipped cream if my memory serves me correctly). The cookie by itself was really delicious. In the future, I will omit the addition of chocolate sauce. It really didn't need it. I look forward to another fun dessert date with my hubby at this really SWEET lounge! P.S. All of the portion sizes that I saw were shareable. Bae and I could've shared either one of those desserts and been good. I also saw a woman sharing a sweet treat with her two children, and several other patrons were sharing. We all know that sharing means caring!

In my first experience they wouldn't allow me to change the chocolate from milk to dark in the dubai cup, but this time they allowed it. I shared the dubai cup and triple chocolate crepe with a friend. The price is $$ in my opinion but I feel like you are paying for the experience. The menu is extensive so there are a lot of options, one might even say, too many options. Since we visited around 8:45 pm there was no line and we had a lot of time to ask about their offerings. The person working the register was kind and handled our questions with ease. We sat at a table with our number stand and then we were served. It wasn't that our desserts were bad they just were a lot for two people. Talk about sugar rush!! What we did end up eating was tasty and seemed very fresh. I love this concept and hope more people venture out to check it out. The vibe is very chill and there a chairs and tables plus couches if you want a different experience. Be warned you will be filled to the brim with chocolate but who says that's a bad thing.

The service when I got to the shop was awesome. My order was ready to go. However, this is where things changed. I ordered the lemon poppyseed. Now, if I was just ordering a poppyseed cookie, this would've been nine out of 10 there was crispness to the edges, soft middle, but not too soft and also not too sweet's a really solid cookie. However, since I went into it thinking this was gonna be lemon including lemon icing drizzle on the top I did not smell lemon when I first smelled the cookie and I did not taste any lemon in the cookie itself so I have to say that my review went from 9 to 5 out of 10 because I love lemon flavor and almost never does anyone have enough lemon flavor. in this case there wasn't any. Highly disappointed crave. Onto the next cookie, I ordered the mango sticky rice because the ingredients looked awesome and the concept sounded good There are big chunks of mango in every bite. I believe these are dried mango pieces. I think fresh mango would've tasted better, but probably would've led to a much more wet cookie. This cookie was pretty dense. It was not as soft as the first cookie however, it was also not very sweet which was good. I would probably order this again.
