Right in the middle of Guerneville sits a great coffee and lunch spot. I stopped by for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised at how many delicious options they had available. They have sandwiches, salads, quiche, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos and even a crepe station. I ordered a crepe with cheddar, chicken and avocado along with a chai latte. The chai was really good and not too sweet. It had a great spicy taste to it but it wasn't overpowering. The crepe took a little longer than I thought but I figured it just meant it was all the more fresh. The crepe comes with a very small salad with tomato but the dressing was delicious. The crepe was cooked perfectly but needed some sort of sauce or condiment on it so it was a little less dry. Other than that I really liked it and would love to try one of their pastries next time. You can park on the street or in the parking lot that sits to the right of the building. There is a decent amount of indoor seating and a couple spots outside to sit on a nice day. read more

We got here because of bad luck: a friend suggested Big Bottom Market, but we followed the wrong pin on gMap. Nevertheless we were happy to eat here, why not? NOT. Because when I asked what was in the pies, I got raised eyebrows (apparently it's not polite to ask what's in the pies) and when my husband asked for his quiche to be heated he got a "not your turn to ask questions". We got our food, that was plane, to say the least, and went away. Luckily in the meantime we localized Big Bottom Market and had the brunch we were hoping for. I never met a waitress as rude as the red haired woman that "served" us at this place. If she hates people so much, she should consider another profession. read more

I love places like these, and am happy to support them. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the people behind the counter are personable. I wanted to order something different, so I ordered a coffee that my friend did, not knowing that the soy milk I normally get with my coffee and almond syrup might not be a good combination. I asked if I could get something else to replace it, they were happy to make me a new drink AND threw in a cinnamon roll. Both were very yummy. They were nice, we chatted for a bit about the town, as I am from San Jose. I will definitely be going back for my coffee when we go back for a trip to the Russian River! read more

We stumbled upon Coffee Bazaar on a family trip through Sonoma County. Normally, I scour Trip Advisor and Yelp like a madwoman before we stop for a bite of anything but the kids were tired, hungry and cranky and Coffee Bazaar was, well, there. Well worth the stop! The gentleman manning the counter was fun, informative and very friendly. He made recommendations, chatted with my kids and served up the most scrumptious baked goods I've had in a long time. We partook of pumpkin pie, cheesecake (real, homemade, old fashioned, to die for), apple pan-dowdy with carmel sauce, coffee and italian sodas. Everything was fresh, homemade and beyond delicious. So good that we took some pan-dowdies to go. Not to be missed. read more

If you are in Guerneville, you must come here. It is the best food/drink option in town. The staff was incredibly friendly. The food was all good and the coffee/tea was fantastic. We were in town for two days, and made 4 four visits. The place felt like everyone knew each other, the owner visited tables with free samples of their pumpkin pie. I can't say much about their espresso drinks since all we had was coffee but the breakfast food was great. I got a ham and cheese croissant and my girl got the lox bagel. Everything was really good. I had a good sandwich at this place last week. It was a cashew chicken sandwich and I was thoroughly impressed at the size and quality. The service was nice and the place wasn't too busy. Love love love! Best. Iced. Coffee. Ever. They put frozen coffee ice cubes in the iced coffee so no annoying caffeine dilution. And the baked goods....wow! My daughter had apple crisp, made in-house and it was sublime. Crisp light pastry, tender apples that were the perfect sweetness. My husband had the chocolate espresso brownie and he loved it! I had a seven layer bar which is not made in house but it was really good so I give the Bistro snaps for good buying choices. Service was great. Staff kinfolk do has a hippie dippie chick vibe. Our server announced that she was "feeling really silly" and it was charming, Decor is eclectic and comfy. Definitely would return and it was an altogether refreshing break from Starbuck's. I had a great time here. My wife and I spend a some time catching up on email and such over some hot and iced tea. Both were done very well. The clerk even answered my series of questions about what the teas were like and how they were brewed. My wife's vegan chilli and salad was tasty and served with care, I even let her have some of it. :) They also made me an Apple Dandy al la Mode, a custom order that made me very happy. The staff is friendly, patient, accommodating and hardworking. The open air setting was a great taste of summer. read more

Day one: Serviceable soy lattes and soy mochas. I like the high ceilings and coppery tables. I couldn't get the wifi to work. The drive out here has perhaps tired me because that is all I can think of to say! Fini! Day two: They have almond milk for their coffee drinks too! And vegan chili, which makes for a decent lunch with the house salad, hold the cheese. My omni sweetheart got a turkey and cheese sandwich, described as "palatable." TIP: Before 8:00 a.m. you can get a 12 oz. for the refill price, which is now $1.50 (the deal was any size for $1.45 but they changed it). A Good value, and WiFi, too. I haven't had the food in a while, but it was always decent. The place could use a deep-cleaning, and re-painting, but it's comfy and the music is always the best. She gave away our order to someone without checking and then got mad at us. She was not kind and kept ignoring us when we asked her to make us a new one after she gave ours away. Worst cappuccino I've ever had! There was 1 inch of coffee and the rest was pure foam. I had to scrape a lot of it off and once I got to the actual coffee, that was it for me. It was burnt. I just threw it away. I tasted my husbands iced vanilla latte and thought it was also bad and artificial tasting - overly sweet. I'm guessing the high ratings are because this is basically the only coffee shop in town. Service was also very slow on top of all that, but I would forgive that if the coffee was good. It's a cute coffee shop in Guerneville. It's also connected to bookstore next door. It's a pretty popular spot, as there was a line almost going out the door. There's ample of seating inside to hang out and enjoy your drink. The menu consists of many different drink options and even food selections. There were two people behind the counter and were very nice. They acknowledge you as you wait in line. This place has a one of a kind Mexican Mocha. A strong spicy kick at the back of your throat. They don't make the drinks here scorching hot, so your tongue's taste buds will still have feeling. ;) read more

Always opt out of breakfast at the b&b to have breakfast here. You can't beat the diverse crowds and the special ambience they add. If this were the stage coach days, this would definitely be a stage coach stop! Everyone passes through (and the laundromat is next door). Great food choices and they will always have a specialty dessert/pastry, unless it's sold out. This is my favorite people viewing place outside of Paris. A Late review but had to do it, have it in the back of my mind. Went to this coffee place back in July 2014, it was the Vineman Half Iron Man race (for those like I was before, a super big triathlon). My husband and my friend just finished the swimming part and my friend's husband, my son and I had plenty of time (while they were in their bikes) to go for breakfast... and we found this GEM. What an amazing coffee, but OMG what an amazing croissant. My was a breakfast croissant with egg, ham and cheese, my sons was a chocolate croissant, one word.... HEAVEN!!! The coffee is delicious too of course, I just got amazed by the texture and delicacy of the croissant. lol lol read more
