Our dining experience at Mercado Buenos Aires was pretty good from start to finish. As a welcoming…read morestarter, we were served warm, crusty French bread accompanied by their flavorful chimichurri sauce. The bread was fresh and perfectly complemented the bright, herbaceous chimichurri. For our entrées, we enjoyed the Thursday daily special, Merluza de Pappilletto, tenderly baked white fish sitting on a layered bed of scalloped potatoes and spinach, which was beautifully prepared and packed with delicate flavors and served with a side of french fries and a lemon caper cream sauce that you can top the fish with if you desired. We definitely did and it was delicious! We also ordered the Churrasco de Lomo, grilled filet mignon steak topped with chimichurri butter. The menu specified "Two 6 oz. filet mignon steaks" so we were confused that the plate arrived with only one piece of meat. It does specify an option to get a 12 oz filet for $30 or a 6 oz for $17. Maybe that's what they meant about "two"? Who knows....Although the steak was tender & flavorful, it wasn't cooked medium rare as we requested rather it was more on the well-done side. However, the chimichurri butter that topped it added a rich and delicious finishing touch. The side dishes were equally impressive. The Arroz Azafrán, a paella-style rice, was fragrant, flavorful, and a perfect accompaniment to both entrées. The Crema de Espinaca featured creamy spinach with Parmesan that was rich, comforting, and wonderfully balanced. To finish the meal, we shared the tiramisu, which was the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. It was light, creamy, and not overly sweet, with just the right amount of coffee flavor. I think there can be improvements to be made on their service. There was only one wait staff taking care of the whole restaurant so there were moments of lengthy wait times, totally not his fault. They need to hire at least one more person to help out. Also take note of the bill, they automatically add a 3% "Kitchen" gratuity which I've never seen before so you might want to take this into consideration when applying the tip. The food & presentation was great overall. Mercado Buenos Aires delivers authentic flavors, high-quality ingredients, and a warm atmosphere that would want me to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an exceptional Argentine dining experience.

But unlike most good, clean places this one has 1 feature that most places miss. The cashier (Younger guy) was the most optimistic, happy, genuine person I have met in a long time, it's rare in LA you find somebody who loves what they do. This guy gets it. He made the entire thing for me. Watching him interact with every single customer and greet them and help them find the best option was my favorite part. Bringing it home. 5 out of 5 but because of him. It deserves a 6. Great job

First time trying Mendocino Farms and I was highly satisfied!!! I heard a lot of hype about it,…read moresince I love Salads I had to try it!! I ordered the modern Caesar salad without tomatoes and onion. This was a good pick because it was very delicious! The salad was a good size and I added chicken and it was so tasty and healthy. I like how they already have avocados with the salads and the krunchies they put on my salad was so bomb! I was not sure if it was breaded or what but definitely added a touch to the salad. I'm going to come back to order this again and their soup. The employee let me try the lemon chicken farro soup and OMG ingredients were on point! Next time I'll get that and half of a sandwich, which they have so many good selections to choose from. The service was 5/5 for me the cashier and the other guy who was working was phenomenal. I didn't get their names but they were patient and very amicable. They gave good suggestions for my mom and me since it was our first time. Very easy going and no complaints with whatever we needed as we dined in. The ambiance was perfect! Nice location, located in the Vineyards at Porter ranch. It's Modern inside and pretty clean!!! The decor is very cute as well. I like the turf grass they have on the back of the seatings on the booths! Very reasonable and good quality food! I love how they put fan of the day on the wall by the register. I even noticed they have crayons and coloring paper for kids. I will def be back! My mom loved her salad as well! -Marshay D.

When we arrived, there were people working on their laptops with a few tables still available. They also have a quieter room in the back with long tables. I grabbed a table while my sister ordered at the register. I ordered an iced matcha latte with honey and it was really good! Once our order was ready, the staff brought our drinks to the table. If you need to charge your laptop, the outlets are located by the counter seating. They also have a restroom which was spacious and clean. San Fernando is a narrow 2 way street but there is parking available. We found a metered spot and put money in for an hour. You have to pay everyday except Sundays. The inside was cute and busy. There are tables and a bar area to sit at. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number so they can bring your order to you. Staff was friendly, they gave us a few min to go over the menu and answered any questions we had. The menu had drinks, small bites and sandwitches. Drinks also came out quickly, although we did have to wait longer for the food items. My matcha that I ordered was really good, it was off the seasonal menu. It was a peach basil matcha, very creative combination and the basil was not overpowering at all. I also got an avocado toast with egg and that item was a little underwhelming. The egg was cold and the avocado needed a little more flavor. However, overall good experience.
