This store 13610 use to have good service and it was one of the last Jacks I would actually go to. Went there today (11/19) only to find out that ordering 2 monster tacos means you get 8 of them. My dad went to have a quick lunch with me, and I brought coupons. I don't know if the food service worker there was having a bad day or what the reason was, but her tone of voice when helping us at the register to order food was like she was unhappy to do so. The place was empty besides from one customer waiting by the counter who ordered online. There was no one in the drive-thru when we went in. As to why she showed that tone towards us from the get go, I don't know why. It wasn't like it was a busy lunch hour in there at all. Even if it was or was beforehand, I didn't expect that level of distress from a service worker. We tried to ignore her anguish tone because it's fast food, I am not paying for good service so whatever, but what got on my dad's nerves that broke the last string in him was she tried to overcharge us for our food. We were ordering $16 worth of food with a coupon, and she tried to charge us 20ish - 21 dollars. Taxes are not up charging our bill that much as of yet. I mean it's only a few dollars but in addition to her poor attitude and service when we were ordering and her abnormal tone when I pulled out coupons just ticked my dad over the edge. My dad felt scorned upon by her tone of voice and facial expressions after he handed over coupons, and then it just went down hill from there with the service she provided and trying to overcharge us and such. Her manager did came out to help with the situation after my dad raised his voice commenting to the food service worker, telling her that her level of service is terrible but the manager was trying to make excuses for her and that just escalating the negative tension between us and the food service worker. And just to mention, this worker was not a teen, she was a full fledged working adult. My dad raised his voice because she was being rude after my dad asked to check again on the price because it should be 16ish to 17ish dollars, but her attitude was like we were being fussy for just a few dollars. They kept saying that they will refund us our money but we just want my food. All we want is to be charged the correct amount and get our food and they were trying to give us money back and get rid of us. I did end up getting my food there but my fries were undercooked and I didn't finish my chicken sandwich because I didn't trust that it was heated correctly. I took it home and later popped it in my microwave oven to cook it throughly before eating it. I'm never going back to this location again. I've never had such a bad experience in a fast food place ever. read more

So we decided he also with it! Let's order a 'late night dinner' for 'OUR' Friday! (It's actually Thursday evening!),.. The employees here1, had made everything fresh to order - with care, and perfectly made to ordered requests!!!! Staff also added condiments and napkins, as well as taco sauce & even salsa!,.. for the Taco's & Chicken Fajita Pita! These things are rare when ordering basically from anywhere sometimes! The ONLY thing lacking was NO KETCHUP for the French Fries! ****suggestion would be to put napkins INSIDE packaging with certain foods, (we've seen this done with delivery many times),.. like the French Fries, so they do not get soggy. Hopefully they see this review and get a great idea from it! Thank you to the this location on obviously good management. Again, ordered on Uber eats. ZERO sauce. This is at least the 20th time in a row. Think about that. Management and corporate can't make this location capable of providing a proper meal. We ordered egg rolls, and tacos. No sweet and sour which the egg rolls come with. No taco sauce even though we ordered extra on Uber eats app. How do you have employees that pack egg rolls and tacos into a bag for delivery and not even think about condiments? Every single time. Went there this past Christmas for a late lunch at around 2 p.m. Restaurant wasn't super busy, but there were some others there enjoying a meal. Got our order taken quickly and food was ready soon after that. I got my usual which was the #3 which is the sourdough Jack burger; ordered it small, so got small drink and small fries. You can always count on Jack in the Box to be consistent with the taste of the food from restaurant to restaurant, and this was the case with my burger. Restaurant was clean as was the restroom. I like that they had a tray of condiments on the table, so it saved you from having to go to the front of the store if you forgot something. read more

Yelp really needs to add a zero star feature. Worst customer service. Tried to add on something at the window, which I usually don't do and was told that it was too late. Had to park, get out of my car to get a receipt since nothing was provided to me to then return the food anyways because I was not going spend my hard earned money on a place that didn't respect me or even treat me right(forget about 'outstanding service' just treat me like a person!!). I will not go back to this Jack in the Box, this is the closest location to my work and I went here often. Every time I go the place is dirty smells like a bathroom and quiet often I receive very un-friendly service (very unusual for Scottsdale). Depending on the day I never know if my food will be up to par. On multiple occasions I have seen employee's kids running around and messing with the soda machine. I almost always get water when I eat out but their water is yellow at tastes terrible. I'm constantly forced to work late, and I was thankful that this location was open for 24 hours. Once I arrived I waited 5 minutes and there was no response. I asked if anyone was working and the employee working there immediately turned hostile and threatened to kill me. Management needs to hire better employees and more supervisors for the undertrained staff that works here.
