Good tasting pastries and they have breakfast bagels if you want them. Public parking garage is right next door and you can walk up and down the streets. Beautiful Autumn views everywhere. My egg spinach bagel, plain croissant & 12 oz. cup hot chocolate total was a bit over $14 before tips. It's much cheaper than the San Francisco Bay Area coffee/bakery/cafe prices for sure. Very clean and organized with public restrooms. There's a few tables indoors or you can grab one outside. It gets windy and breezy at times. Easy access getting on and off Hwy 101. Not far. I sat at the benches on the front street facing another open public parking lot area. Free parking is great. Lots of off street sidewalk parking spaces too. Not bad at all. Bagel wasn't my favorite, but croissant was excellent in taste and texture. Lots of great photo spots all around the area. Very relaxing area with not much foot traffic on weekdays these days. Streets are much more quieter than expected. Some nearby shops/retailers/restaurants were closed. I will have to come back and try other food items and beverages next time. Good impression. Theres's not much to choose from when it comes to what's really left in the area, so this cafe/coffee shop stands out. read more

This has become our go to coffee shop. The staff is friendly and they are very quick and detail oriented. Our go to drinks are the bourbon street latte with soy milk and the cinnamon roll latte decaf with oat milk. They also sell pastries and juices. This a decent coffee shop and probably the best choice for their downtown. It looks huge from the outside and has a nice corner-shop location but once you go inside, it's a small store with just a few seats and a few high chairs for the standing room. The line can get long and sometimes may go out the door depending. I came here Saturday noon time and I had an ok experience. For some reason the orders took forever and the cashier just kept talking and talking without keeping things short; this kept a a lot of us annoyed because the cashier wasn't reading the room. They serve Verve which is excellent but the missile I ordered did not taste like the missile I usually get from the actual Verve shop; it tasted watered down for some reason and kinda tasted flat. If you're looking for a coffee shop to grab a cup of joe and pastry and just want to have a seat outside and people watch, this is a great place. read more

Dropping my previous rating because of customer service. Have ordered here recently via pickup and DoorDash and there have been issues each time. I really want to support small businesses and think Morgan Hill needs more small business with all the recent chain restaurants coming in. But the service and quality has just been lacking recently. When I ordered for pick up, it indicated my order was ready and they proceeded to hand me half of my order. They ran out of some items, which is why I guess they didn't hand the full order over, but failing to acknowledge it and just pretend that I'm getting everything I ordered without a refund for the items that aren't there is ridiculous. Wake up, pay attention and stop being so complacent. DoorDash ordered arrived with the wrong drink and not all of the items asked for. It can be tempting the blame the dasher, as a business it's their responsibility to make sure the dasher is picking up the right order. Also don't think it was the dasher because one drink was right and the other wad completely wrong. We ordered two chai's, got one and the other was an iced coffee. When asking for a refund they only offered a measly $3.80, less than the cost of the chai we ordered. Additionally, we had asked for cream cheese with our food and none was given. The pattern is: there is clear laziness, lack of attention to details, care, and customer service. They need to get their act together and wake up. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot in Morgan Hill! Their lattes, especially their oat milk are some of the best I've had. The flavored lattes have never disappointed. They are never too sweet and have never experienced coffee with that "burnt" taste some places can have. My go-to was a vanilla or lavender vanilla latte with oat milk for the longest. Always great! However, I've been drinking more tea so I tried their bowl of soul tea. AMAZING!!! I ordered mine with earl grey tea, oat milk and vanilla. This drink really made my day and will be probably be my new go to. Definitely take the extra few minutes to stop by for the coffee here. I promise it'll be better than Starbucks. I only wish there were some vegan pastries but hopefully in the future!! read more

Stopped by today for a cold brew with milk. As I tried to gulp the last of my drink, I felt something weird in my mouth - no it didn't feel like coffee grounds. I immediately spit it back into my cup and noticed something fuzzy and green. I initially thought it was mold but with further investigation it felt/looked like material from a cleaning sponge. Either way, it is still disgusting! It suck's that I basically finished my drink to find it. We've had their cold brew before and it's delicious! I was so excited to try this place and was sad to be disappointed, the place itself is very nice and modern. When i went, there was maybe 3 people total inside. the staff member working was extremely cold towards me, i said "hello" when i walked in, asked "how's it going?" when it was my turn to order, completely ignored. I later said thank you to him as i was grabbing my coffee order and was completely ignored by this person accompanied by a rude look each time. Got to Morgan Hill early for an event and needed somewhere to post up/coffee to get me through the rest of the day. Coffee Guys got the job done. It's right off the Downtown Morgan Hill area (which is getting a bunch of cool stuff!) and has a decent amount of seating. I ordered a Mint Mojito (cold brew, mint syrup, & cream) and grabbed a table to start working. I like that their mint mojito uses cold brew versus espresso. A bit creamy. It also wasn't overly sweet. This review is for the jalapeño cheddar Cragel. Its the croissant bagel you didnt know you needed in your life. DELICIOUS. I will say, the jalapeño is ample and VERY spicy. I love spicy foods and it definitely had my mouth on fire but I couldnt stop eating it because its so amazingly buttery and flaky. The right amount of density from the bagel and the airiness of the croissant. Dont skip on the cream cheese either it definitely helps soothe the burn! So why only 3 stars? We opted in for the Cinnamon roll iced latte and the lavender iced latte both of which missed the mark. The only thing cinnamon roll i could taste was the couple shakes of cinnamon over the ice other than that it was an average iced coffee and the lavender also tasted pretty basic with very subtle notes of the flower. if in the area i would definitely come back for the cragel and give another drink item a try! I ordered a bagel with cream cheese and a oat milk latte. They didn't have plain bagels so they said the next best sub is just their wheat bagel. They heated it up and it tasted like an average bagel. There were smears of yellow cheese, both on the side of the bagel and the sliced insides. Led me to think they didn't clean their equipment.. Their coffee just tasted like oatmilk, the espresso flavor was pretty indiscernible. Maybe they need to revisit their milk to espresso ratio? I didn't know they closed at 2p, but I sure did get the message when they turned off all the lights at 1:30p without warning. Felt weird that in the already limited hours of operations they had that they started their cleaning and shut downs half an hour before stated closing time but maybe I'm just old fashioned. read more

We went here for the first time today after the Veterans Day ceremony. We ordered 3 bagel sandwiches and coffee, and one sandwich was delivered quickly. We waited about 10 minutes for the others, and I finally inquired as to where they were. Somehow they missed the order, which was surprising, since we were one of two small parties there at the time. First impression was the coffee shop was in a modern building (more so than the rest of the downtown area). Not sure when it was built but has the appearance of being fairly new. The outdoor seating had interesting decor - almost rustic with contemporary fixtures. The shop serves verve coffee. Cleanliness (4/5): Didn't notice anything really. The retail wall looked clean and stock. The cashier was consolidating the pastry case when we came in and she was wearing gloves! Everything looked well kept and clean. Customer Connection (4/5): nothing exceptional. The cashier was friendly. Told us to ask her if we had any questions about the menu. I asked her if their chai was on the sweeter or spicer side. She said spicer because of the cinnamon. So thank you for the details! Service/Product Quality (4/5): We ordered an iced chai latte and the nitro cold brew. The iced chai was good. Well balanced and I could actually taste the chai - whereas, other places put WAY TOO MUCH milk. The nitro cold brew was good as well. It's a personal preference, but it was rather light; maybe it was the nitro part. Not in a bad way!! I just like my coffee on the darker side. Met a friend for coffee here and it was both of our first time. Since it was super windy, we were hoping to sit inside but there were literally two seats at the bar side which were taken. I suppose they haven't fully opened up inside seating since the pandemic. I ordered the lavender latte with decaf, 16oz. At $5, it was kind of pricey for a very diluted tasting, basic drink. I get that I asked for decaf but still.. I was hoping to also try a cinnamon or Nutella cragel but they were out :( If I ever decide to give this place another try, I'd probably try the mint mojito. I'm going to keep it short and sweet. I ordered an almond milk cappuccino and was served a regular whole milk cappuccino. I thought confirming my order with the barista would have caught the mistake. Now I'm just annoyed at the fact that the coffee I was looking forward to is in the garbage, since I can't have dairy. This really sucks. In the picture I attached you can see how creamy it looks... suspiciously creamy. The stars were basically for cleanliness, easy access from parking, and great coffee/tea products. I've been here a couple of times and I don't get too much enthusiasm from them... just saying. But maybe I have been in at the wrong times. Three of us dropped by while strolling through downtown Morgan Hill at around 4PM. As we are from the East Bay, we're not in this area often, and thought to make the most of our time here after a half day hike at Henry W Coe State Park. Coffee Guys fits the sleek yet small local business vibe of the neighborhood - with its high ceilings, bright, airy, open interior and off white and grey minimalist decor. We were all satisfied with our almond milk latte, plain bagel, and freshly squeezed OJ. Their pastries looked so enticing! It was my first time seeing a cragel. The baristas were very friendly and made light conversation with me while I was waiting by the pickup counter. Had a great time here and a pleasant pit stop. read more

I've been here twice now and both times my expectations were exceeded. The shop is extremely clean, great options to pick from, and wonderful customer service - the staff is always patient, friendly, and attentive. The caramel macchiato surpasses Starbucks in flavor and the drinks are ready pretty timely. I literally drove past the Starbucks drive-thru on Monterey (which had a mile long line), came to Coffee Guys, found parking quickly and close to the shop, ordered and received my drink faster than the cars which were STILL in the Starbucks drive-thru line. I'll be coming here for my regular coffees from now on. They also make their own fresh squeezed juices and have some unique latte options to pick from. Highly recommend! read more

Coffee Guys is definitely worth trying! I am a huge Starbucks fan, but this place is a bit more unique with the flavors. They have a limited menu but the quality of the drinks are great! So far, we've tried the Mint Mojito (a little less bold than Philz's), the Mocha, & the Missle. The Missle is my favorite. The flavor is so smooth since it has honey and you don't get super jittery from the caffeine, also it's not overly sweet. I do wish the menu provided descriptions of the drinks because I have no idea what's in them, but the baristas are super helpful and informative. She even gave us a sample! Such a great space... but it needs some cool artwork.. or some greenery, indoor plants on that ladder shelf. Make it a cozy space! (reminds me of Philz hehe) I was also eyeing their cold brew but it was a bit chilly that day. Latte also had a small latte leaf :3 cragel = croissant + bagel. I got the jalapeño cragel and it was yummy! Great carb blend between a croissant and bagel haha. Also beware of the jalapeño seeds or it'll be super spicy!
