avocado toast
Stacey I.

Arrived bright and early, about five minutes after they opened, hoping for a good latte and hearty avocado toast to kick-start our drive back to San Francisco. Coffee Nature was a solid stop! What we ordered: * Avocado Toast * Iced Honey Cinnamon Latte w/ oat milk * Cold Brew FOOD/DRINKS: 8/10 I loved the hefty portion of avocado and cherry tomatoes on the toast, plus the fact that they give you two slices instead of just one. You definitely get what you pay for. The lemon pepper was a nice touch and my first time having it on avocado toast, and it actually paired really well. The coffee and latte were good; nothing super memorable, but definitely decent for starting the morning and the drive back. AMBIANCE: 9/10 Super cute decor and very on-brand with the name, full of nature and plant aesthetics. I also liked that there's a tucked-away space inside the café for getting work done, along with different seating options. SERVICE: 10/10 Considering how early it was, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and so patient with me while I was indecisive about which syrup flavor to get in my latte.

Cappuccino

I've never ordered a drink I didn't like at coffee nature! The first order I've ever made was the vanilla chai ~ an extra creamy, lightly spicy tea that's latte-style. The spicy chai is a bit more of a traditional chai and tastes delicious with espresso. I ordered a cappuccino with lavender syrup and it was a great blend of quality coffee with sweetness of the syrup. The space is always so comfy-cozy; lots of nooks to sit in and an extra space in an expanded room. It's often crowded but there's always a spot!

How cute!!! Definitely a great spot to meet up with someone and catch up or do work. There's plenty of seating (only two tables out doors though). I didn't get to try the coffee yet but I was starving and headed to the airport. I grabbed a burrito for my boyfriend and I had a melt on gluten free toast. I love the aioli sauce and won't complain that the gf toast was a bit dry and tough.. i think i prefer that over it crumbling though. there were also gluten free muffins available - thankful for those options!

hot matcha latte

Recently visited Coffee Nature and had a fairly solid experience! I ordered the hot small matcha latte with added vanilla. It wasn't too sweet, which I really appreciated, but you could still taste the matcha--though the flavor didn't come through as strong as I'd hoped. Still, a good balance overall. DRINKS: 3/5 My fiancé got the iced peach tea, which comes unsweetened, so he added honey. Even with the honey, it wasn't super strong in flavor, but it was refreshing and light. FOOD: 4/5 As for food, the Thai tea French toast was pretty good! It came with a scoop of ice cream, mixed berries, and walnuts. Highly recommend it if you're in the mood for something unique! AMBIANCE: 5/5 This place is perfect for studying or getting some work done. The background music is chill, and there are plenty of outlets available. It's quiet, and there were lots of tables available when we went, so it wasn't overly crowded. Definitely a cozy spot to grab a drink and relax or work on something.

One of my favorite coffee shops of the OC area As soon as I stepped into the cafe, I was met with a high ceiling that was a refreshing break from more of the low ceiling office spaces that I had been studying in. The layout and decor is well put together with the napkins, coffee cup sleeves, and utensils being easily accessible and out of the way from any lines that may form. I've also delighted in the presence of board games and enough seating to host these board games! The space is fitting for any who seeks to study with enough accessible outlets within reach wherever you sit. There's also a maker space area right next door, and in a sense because there is no closed doors between the cafe seating area and the maker space market - it just makes the space feel even more spacious! I ordered an iced chai latte spiced with nonfat milk. It came out to be $6 for a large cup size. I took one sip and all my worries for the day seemed to have melted away! Praise God! It was incredibly thoughtful to have stickers placed on the drink so that you would know who made your drink. The staff are all kind and hard working - God bless you all. I want to be back to try the other drinks because it seems like there's a new seasonal drink incorporating mushrooms, which I have not heard before. The time here was wonderful. Thank you all for this space and the sustenance you provide for potentially weary souls. I truly have no complaints for this place.

Coffee Nature is tucked away and they have a bigger than expected menu of coffee, small breakfast foods, and a pastry case. I ordered an almond latte and the coffee is strong and delightful. I noticed many regulars come in and out and the baristas know them by name. Always a good sign with a coffee shop. Great service. Casual. Indoor and outdoor seating. Easy parking. Please come and create your own adventure.

Chaga Matcha

Just wanted to share more of my chaga matchas I've ordered just cause. Little tip when you get the chaga matcha it's best with whole milk, it definitely wasn't as good when I tried it with oat milk one time.

Jennifer T.

Matcha is subpar. We ordered the witch's potion and Chaga matcha. They were out of the pumpkin spice cold foam included in the witch's potion but still charged us full price for the drink (cold foam is an extra $1). Honestly would not go back, the drinks had no matcha flavor and tasted like watered down milk. For $8 drinks, it was overpriced and poor in quality.

Iced matcha latte

Iced matcha latte - matcha has a rich, earthy flavor without being too bitter, and the milk adds a nice creaminess. Lightly sweetened, it's a simple yet satisfying drink--definitely one I'd get again! Great study spaces with outlets and lots of seating. Parking lot does get packed in middle of the day but relatively empty in the afternoon. Staff friendly and quick.

Such a cozy local cafe that offers great service and an actual CREAMY ALMOND milk latte. Yes, you read that right. CREAMY described almond milk. That alone deserves 5 stars, iykyk! It's literally hidden behind the bristol/73 freeway, but once you find this local gem, it's worth it.

Self Bloom latte with oat milk, so good!

Been here a couple times now, and it's the cutest little place!! Love the relaxing vibe, great place to work or just relax with a good coffee. Love their specialty coffees and their normal coffee drinks, truly don't think they can do wrong! Service is great too, everyone is so nice and welcoming.

Breakfast burrito

A great morning treat. Super great servers that are friendly and helpful. Their breakfast burritos are amazing! Packed with flavor! They have great tasting coffees too. The coffees come out quick but be prepared to wait for your food as it can be a bit. Plenty of parking. Come enjoy your start to the day here.

There are a lot of great things about this place. First of all, the drink that I ordered was really good. I appreciated all the tea and coffee options they had. It seems to be a proper coffee shop. While I enjoyed my drink, I will warn you all that the ube syrup is not very sweet. In addition, the matcha they used is ceremonial grade, I was told, and thus, more earthy and not sweet in the least bit. With that said, my drink was barely sweet, but I personally don't mind that. However if you were expecting sweetness because it's a syrup, add another to add more sweetness to the ube syrup. The place was a big enough space with plenty of tables and chairs for studying/working/reading or social date. I didn't really look but I couldn't see any obvious outlets. Also, The place is cute. There were even swinging chairs which I sat on and enjoyed. The employee who helped us was very nice and very patient since it was my first time there and I needed a little extra time to decide what I wanted. I really appreciated the kindness in her service. Overall, I really liked this place and would totally come back. Highly recommend.

At the Costa Mesa location, parking was a little tricky at first, but after circling we got lucky with a corner spot. The location itself is SO cute! It's right next to colorful barrel fountains, and on a sunny day it honestly felt like the perfect coffee outing. The line was pretty long and you are standing in direct sun, so just keep that in mind, but the service was quick and efficient once you order. Inside, it's small but really charming, with Sunny Angels hidden around and a very open, friendly vibe. My sister (who is basically a professional coffee drinker at this point ) got the matcha and said it was her favorite, which says a lot. I got the iced Spanish latte with oat milk, and it was SO good. Spanish lattes are my go-to, and this one had the perfect hint of cinnamon without being overly sweet. Even as the ice melted, it still tasted great, which is rare. The Torrance location was just as good! Parking was easier, the space is bigger, and the service was still super friendly and fast. My husband got the cold brew "Nook way" and finished it in like 10 minutes. He said it tasted like Golden Grahams cereal. Highly recommend both locations and especially the Spanish latte. The parking however, was VERY filled during this time. The line was huge for a 11:00am on a Friday morning. We were bummed that the QR code was not working on the very cute wooden signage outside the coffee shop while we were in line, which was a bummer. The Honey Oat Latte with oat milk was delicious. I am notorious for chugging my iced coffee but this was absolutely delicious. A sweet, subtle honey sweetness taste and the creamy oat milk was divine. My manager's Spanish Latte was so much better & I will be getting that next time! We bought our other coworker the Strawberry Matcha, which we did not try & we were worried after the fact because it did not look like it had strawberries in it, but she confirmed it was very tasty and tasted the strawberry! The outside seating areas in this outdoor area was very cute. Lots of fun art, the directory was creative, the CD tunnel was the coolest part! We also walked over to the breakfast burrito place as well. This seems like a nice area to come and relax and just people watch and enjoy a delicious iced latte from Nook.

I sent a message before because I needed a spot to do my final oral exam virtually. There is a small fee but unfortunately no one got back to me. There is a QR code that takes you to a site where you fill out a form to request the space. Now, these requests are handled specifically by the church not the coffee spot. Although it is in the same area. The staff is super friendly. The restrooms are always clean. Handicap friendly. Not necessarily kid friendly because a lot of people come here to study and work, and its also all concrete and hazards for the small ones, but I have seen people do like babies on strollers type of gathering.
