Thanks to a jacked rotator and a shoulder injury that refuses to quit, I've become way too familiar with the polyclinic hospital this year. It's not exactly where I imagined spending my time, but there's one saving grace: this little eatery on the first floor that makes the trip almost worth it. Their spicy Spam musubi and vanilla latte? Absolute perfection. The musubi is hands down the best I've had outside of Hawaii--it's like a warm, delicious hug from my childhood. Honestly, I've never been tempted to order anything else. When you find something this good, why complicate your life? But I have to admit, the rest of the menu does look pretty fantastic. Maybe one day I'll be adventurous... but probably not. The space may be small, but it's always buzzing with good energy and the people that work here are awesome. If you're stuck making a polyclinic doctor's office run, this is the kind of place that makes the detour feel like a win.

Was looking for somewhere close after a Dr appt and they were in the lobby of the same medical building so didn't have to worry about parking. I got the cranberry turkey sandwich and a couple pastries. I took my order to go although there were a decent amount of medical employees that that looked like they were eating in as they did have a decent amount of small tables. Cranberry turkey sandwich was good and a little messy. The sweet cranberry kind of took over the other flavors of the sandwich but it was decent size and filling. The Boston crème donut, almond croissant and carrot muffin were average.

Quick, tasty, affordable spot for a lunch break! This is a casual spot located inside the Polyclinic with a few tables inside as well as some counter spots. I got the rice bowl with kbbq and it was delicious. I loved the variety of toppings and their sauces were really good! The portion sizes were generous as well. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area!

Bop tree special, ADD CARAMELIZED onions!

This place was really fast and efficient. There is a parking lot right to side of it. I haven't seen it in the menu but I seen reviews if people saying they added caramelized onions to their sandwiches, so I asked and they were more than happy too. It was such a delicious and huge sandwich :)

We were looking for a fast casual breakfast spot, when we came across this cafe. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches- the vegetarian egg sandwich on brioche & their bop tree special. Both sandwiches were phenomenal! It was a burst of flavors with the combination of sauces & ingredients on perfectly toasted bread. ALSO definitely get the caramelized onions on your sandwich (optional but game changer). I also got the salted caramel latte which was also 5/5. Service was friendly & fast. Place was clean & food was delicious. Would definitely come back here again!

    A spicy pork taco.

I paid 5 dollars for this mini spicy pork taco with no onions, I get back to work, and it has onions on it, no meat and a lot of cilantro, this place has definitely gone down the price compared to the amount of food that you get and the quality of food that you get get is so out of control on top of that, I had to wait 10 minutes for my mini spicy taco.. You can't even afford it because it's so expensive, and you're still hungry after. If I could give this place only one star, I would. ***UPDATE*** I go down to get my money back because now have to go back to work and don't have time for them remake another taco. The owner tells me there are onions cooked in there spicy pork meat and they can't pick them all out - Lie#1. I have been coming here for 2 years now and have always gotten no onions on my food, lie #2 he says the tacos have always been this size and price, I know the difference from a street taco and a regular taco. Then he says I need you to take down your review I tell him no and he goes well I can write a comment too! I told all my co workers on my floor to stop eating here. They won't even give you salt and pepper without buying something. Let alone napkins unless you ask! The owner is very RUDE!

Came for breakfast and there are a lot more options available than what was shown in photos. Thought to add to the photo library for this reason. Menu switched over for lunch and if I wasn't full from breakfast, would have ordered more. Small spot but packed with flavor, options and friendly staff.

Bacon egg and cheese with caramelized onions. Get it!

This place did it again! Great food and service. My go to stop after a dr appt. Bacon is cooked perfect.

It's a cute little coffee and sandwich shop around the corner by the library. I had their cappuccino and it's not bad. Although the price is a big steep for a small coffee shop imo but quality is not bad. Would come back to sit by the window counter and people watch with a coffee in my hand. The entrance is connected to the poly clinic also one on the opposite side. There isn't quite parking spot so recommend walking. There are multiple areas for you to sit down for dine in. Although not recommended for large group dine in as there's only about 3-4 tables.

This was such a lovely surprise and treat! Located in same building of the Polyclinic at Madison DT (side entrance). I was fasting for my 9:30 appointment and was ready to eat when all was done (slightly before noon). There's tons of yummy places to eat DT, and after this meal, I just added this place to be one of my go to comfort food places. I'm not a coffee person so what caught my eye was the "Bop" - after peaking at the menu, confirmed "Bop" = "rice". I love the Korean Fusion beef rice bowl I got which had an array of yummy ingredients (green leafy salad, mac salad, corn, cucumber salad, jap chae (noodles), purple rice, beef); ingredients and dressing proportions were just right for my taste. Don't expect a lot of rice in this bowl, it is pleasantly full of healthy veggies which pairs nicely with one another with the beef and bop. I paid extra for the fried egg. I was full when bowl was 90% empty but it taste so good I made sure not to leave a crumb uneaten. Thanks for being in the Polyclinic building and thanks for a yummy meal! I look forward to eating here again at my next visit.

Weird Spot. 18% minimum default tips. Make sure to tap on custom. The restaurant kitchen area is so disorganized. Vanilla latte was good. Espresso tasted sour. Espresso is bad.

Ordered egg&bacon&cheese it was sooooooo delicious!! Very soft It's my fav breakfast

Ordered egg & bacon & cheese sandwich. It was sooooooo delicious and tender!! It became my favorite breakfast It made it very quickly. The place is cozy and peaceful. The staff is so nice

The décor is gorgeous--an elevated, glamorous tribute to the water buffalo that feels bold yet refined. We ordered the Miang Kham, Crying Tiger, and Mango Salad. I always order Miang Kham when I see it since it's such a rare find, and this one was excellent. The Crying Tiger was tasty but came out more well done than the medium-rare we ordered. That said, we still finished it because the dipping sauce was fantastic and the purple-and-white sticky rice was delicious. The Mango Salad was beautifully prepared with shredded mango that had just the right crunch and tartness. Generous portions served. Even during a busy late afternoon, the chef handled guests with ease and a big smile, serving beautifully executed dishes and cocktails. Very impressive. We'll definitely be bringing friends here next time we're in Seattle. Tip: They do true Thai spice levels here--proceed with caution."

These weren't your typical fries though. They were Dutch-style, coming topped with mayo, satay, onions, and chili sauce. A mix of Dutch and Indonesian flavors. This probably was my favorite dish. The combination of pungency, fattiness, crispiness, and spiciness was very good. It kind of reminds you of a plate of nachos, but the fries themselves have a better taste than a bed of chips would have. They manage to stay crispy almost until the end. The main dish I had was the South African Bunny Chow. This was a chicken masala curry inside a bread bowl, spilling out on either side. This was very solid as well. The curry tasted similar to a butter chicken - lightly spiced and creamy, but the chicken inside was quite juicy. The act of putting this inside a bread bowl was very cool. It made it easy to get both the bread and the curry in a single bite with a spoon I didn't like the dessert much, though. What I had was the chocolate malva, but the apricot was way too forward and the sweetness was missing. I tried the Danish cake as well but found this similarly disappointing. The price ended up being somewhat expensive, at around $45 per person after the meal, despite the deal. Portions were solid though. Overall, it's a cool avenue to try different street foods, but I wouldn't say anything special. 7.25/10
